Amaretto & Framboise Poudrée

This is an Amaretto and Chambord cocktail; like a Frenchman and an Italian trying to seduce one another over an aperitif. The raspberry is tart but not in a green-fresh way and the amaretto note is true, sweet but with that bite of bitterness that makes the liqueur so memorable. The overall effect is something sweetly poisonous - the kind of smell the would mask cyanide. There's an anise note in the heart that adds to the punch of this perfume. It's a sophisticated gourmand, for a girl who spent her teen years wearing sweet fruity scents but is looking for something a bit more elegant. The alcoholic bite to this perfume makes it a standout. The amber and vanilla are minuscule, just in the base for balance, and besides a lovely note of labdanum in the drydown I don't smell much of the florals. Amaretto & Framboise is all about the almond and raspberry for me - which is more than fine, because they smell wonderful together, and on my skin this perfume lasts at least 6 hours. The longevity of this perfume really stunned me, considering 100Bon's raison d'être is all natural ingredients. I'm also impressed by their affordability and the different sizes of perfume they offer (I bought amaretto and framboise in a 10ml spray for AU$22), and their refill options. I get the feeling that with all the 100Bon perfumes it's just going to be a matter of what works well with your skin, as there are no chemicals to increase longevity and sillage - definitely sample their range if you are interested!

I'm liking this. On opening, it reminds me of a raspberry croissant, with maybe a little marzipan in there. It's fairly linear but fades down to more of a raspberry candy, like the inside of a Russell Stover. I get a little powder, but more in the form of powdered sugar. That said, it isn't overly sweet, as the raspberry id just tart enough to offer some balance. This is not a strong scent, but pulses off enough to satisfy me. It's sort of like a more upscale, non headache-inducing version of some more teen oriented perfumes and the price is right.

I just received it in the mail and it was love at first sniff!! This fragrance blew me away because although it has natural ingredients its sillage and projection is really nice. I get maraschino cherries, a little powder and vanilla. It has a beautiful drydown that feels like an intimate conversation because it stays so close to the skin. I scored a steal on this at $37 from Saks off 5th and I may have to get a back up as I see myself wearing this everyday!!

Dear Amaretto & Framboise Poudrée. I Love you. Your bitter sweetness attracts me to death.

What a lovely little fragrance. 100 Bon (pronounced "cent bon" or maybe more apt "scent" if someone could see your words spelled out, as you spoke them) is a sweet and, to me, realistic scent, opening with a strong whiff of rummy amaretto and jammy raspberries, even some chocolate, although not a listed note. After 10 minutes, it becomes less boozy, more almondy, although the fruit is still prominent. This company states that it uses only natural ingredients (but chemicals are listed on the box), so I'm going to assume that the longevity isn't going to be super (it's a cologne, after all). I bought it because of the name: who wouldn't want a sweet cordial with slightly bitter fruit to cut the sweetness? A 50 ml bottle is very inexpensive, unadorned, but unusual in that it's refillable and can be opened to dab directly on the skin as well as to spray. I'm writing this review early in the morning, not even a 1/2 hour after spraying, so I'll update about longevity later , but, just from these sprays, I would estimate sillage to be average, about five feet away. I see below that some reviewers think the cologne is just average, and it may be. But I think it is super, given the fragrance and the price. Glad I bought a bottle--it's different from my other perfumes, even the gourmands. (And, besides, I wanted to try a poudree.) 3 hours later: I sprayed twice more (because I wanted the lovely initial blast of amaretto and raspberries), and now the scent is very subtle, so initimate that it's just for me to smell my wrists and put my nose down into my decollage. So, no longevity, but it's still lovely and, in my collection, unique. 12 hours later: Surprise! I get a hint of raspberries on my wrists and cleavage, but, of course, I've got to get very close. So I guess there is some longevity, after all.

This is an eau de cologne. As such, I don't expect much duration. It's more like a fragrance body mist . Priced as such. Browsing at the TJMx, it was very inexpensive and never heard of this one so I purchased it. I'm a sucker for almonds and vanilla in any bottle. Mine did not have a box. Sticker covered the entire back of the bottle :D I don't detect the raspberry at all. It is not tart fruit. I get powdery Iris on dry down with the vanilla settling down. It's similar to the strength of Lacoste pour femme and Laura Mercier' Fig, Victoria Secret Bare Vanilla. A cozy scent, non insulting to anyone's nose at an arm's length. Since I like these notes, I wear them any season, any day; I just use less depending on the circumstances. Two hours but this is ok for this one. But what I really like it's that the atomizer opens!!!.💜 It allows you to dab behind the ears, rub on your nape, temple and up into the hairline. It adheres better. I also added to a BBW Almond Blossom lotion and the result was very nice. Raspberry never showed up. I think I'll take a risk on buying others from this brand, but.... only at the right price, right?

I got a great deal on a travel spray from Walgreens. I bought another scent from 100 Bon in the same order, Eau de Thé & Gingembre. The sillage and longevity of Amaretto Framboise Poudree have outlasted Eau de Thé & Gingembre. I can't comment on the complete longevity yet as I'm still testing (3 hours thus far) Amaretto Framboise Poudree is correctly named. This is syrupy bordering on boozy but powdery raspberries. It reminds me of Demeter's Cherry Cream, but I like this one more. It's less... sharp? Definitely more powdery. The powder is not overwhelming. This fragrance is sweet but not too sweet as to be cloying. I think this would be a perfect Valentine's Day fragrance. Despite the good review, I don't think I'd buy a full bottle since I don't see myself using it enough. (New purchase/still testing so review may change)

I must admit, I was expecting and hoping for almond overload as this is a note that I adore. Initially I had trouble smelling any almond at all,it is not very prominent on my skin. Definitely a liquer almond, a bit boozy and quite overpowered by flowers and the berry. The raspberry is probably the loudest note I experience. Contrary to Cartimandua I do get a lot of flowers and find the labdanum, vanilla and amber quite subdued. Definitely smell the rose. I have grown to love this perfume so, so much. It just never feels wrong to wear and I reach for it more than any of my other perfumes. The sillage and longevity is superb for being an all natural frag - and I suspect this aspect (essential oils and absolutes) play a role in how the notes develop on different skin types

Putting my nose to the bottle it's reminiscent of inhaling an airy blue cotton candy. At first spray there is a sourness of raspberry that somehow disrupts the imagery that comes to mind with "amaretto" in the name. The dry-down is where the almond and powder begin to linger. The fruit may ring synthetic but I enjoy the candy/powdery elements.

It's alright. The beginning smells like summer in a bottle. I can definitely smell the sweet syrupy of the amaretto and for some reason coconut. It morphs into baby powder/syrupy pina colada smell to me within 10 minutes. Maybe if it lasted longer I would have kept it, but it disappears within an hour sadly.

This is a fantastic little fragrance, with notes I've never smelled before together. Realistic raspberry and amaretto burst, with lovely floral and vanilla to support. Unfortunately even with over spray, this lasts only for about 30 minutes on my skin before it disappears altogether.

Smells exactly like cherry cordials and baby powder. A little too powdery for my taste. I like it, though I probably won't wear it much.

So I bought this on a whim and I can't decide what it smells like. Weirdly enough it comes with a scent memory. I distinctly remember watching the Rugrats movie on VHS while smelling this for some reason. I wonder what my mom wore at that time in my life? Anyway, it's really light. None of the scents read as particularly distinct but it is pleasant in a powdery/sweet way. I get powder, pink starburst candy and roses. A bit of vanilla maybe? I was hoping for something richer but it's kind of fun to smell like my childhood memory. Probably something at Bath and Bodyworks from the late 90s that smells exactly like it lol. Probably wouldn't buy again but fun. Oh! It has a great mist. Very fine. Beautiful bottle too.

Pronounced "Cent Bon" - & unfortunately that wouldn't be "scent bon" - bc in the French they would definitely not pronounce the "t.." (You would be surprised how strict the French are about that kind of pronunciation (!) Nice Ameretto top notes in this + what reminds of "baby powder," so not my thing. I like some powdery scents but not baby powder types. Slightly better lasting power than the The/Gingembre variety of 100 Bon - but we are grading on a curve here - these are natural "perfumes" - & any citrus etc, is beautiful, I find - but they do hv unfortunately v low sillage & not great lasting power, you might get an hour - compared with T/G's twenty-something minutes.

I have a version of this that is just Amaretto and Framboise "Exaltants" rather than "Poudree". It's actually quite similar to the Carvi & Jardin de Figuier by 100 Bon, just a bit brighter and more tangy. I'm wondering if this house has a recognisable DNA or if it just so happens that I chose the two that are very sweet and thick smelling with a raspberry note?! This honestly smells a bit like a Lush perfume to me. LUSH's classic jammy raspberry.... it's somewhere between Amelie Mae and 29 High Street. Absolutely will be cloying to many people I suspect!

On my skin this is a raspberry orientated fragrance all over. It starts with a strong, dark, bitter amaretto liqueur alcohol note which quickly afterwards is taken over by the raspberry. Develops into a chewing bubble gum and again the raspberry is dominant, stays like this till the end. Raspberry lovers give this a go, but bear in mind that this has kind of a bitter 'bite'.

synthetic, oppresively powdery, fakely sweet, just disgusting. the amount of "love" on this makes me doubt everything on fragrantica. Do NOT blind buy unless you wanna smell like an old lady that's been locked in her room for a decade.
