Carvi & Jardin de Figuier

I must review this again since I ́ve been layering it with Escentric Molecules Molecule 01. OMG! They are the perfect match. Can ́t stop sniffing my wrist and the sillage is great. Both sweetness and dry wonderful woodiness in a magical mix. The weather here today is warm and sunny and they almost smell tropical together. Pure magic!

Another gem! I already had Mimosa & Heliotrope Poudree and this fig perfume too is splendid. I can't explain what notes I feel, but that cream in the background is the most beautiful note! It's very complex; I feel a lot of things in it, including oranges, but mostly happyness!

Sweet, soft with a hint of green and cedar. For me it ́s the perfect after sun scent after a day in the sun when you ́re on vacation. I wish it would last longer instead of transforming into a skin scent after about 30 mins but at the same time it ́s nice that it is natural.

Fruits,fruits and some more sweet fruits in this one. Like fruits wrappep in sweet cream on top of a cake. The fig is clearly there, although it's not what I would call a very green plain fig, but instead a very fruity and sweet one, which in my book is much better, since green fig scents can be a bit too sharp and bitter for my taste. The woody notes stay in the background for me, almost non-existently. I really like this. A really easy to wear and fun fruity scent, suitable for many different occasions. And I do consider this much more suitable for women, even though I would actually have nothing against a man smelling this fruity and sweet - it's just that I'm not used to men wearing scents like this, I guess. I will go and ask how my husband feels about this one on him and if I get a clear opinion, will come back to write an update.

This is a fun fragrance. It gives me a harvest time vibes. I can smell the tarty, bitter orange peel, spices and fresh cut ripe, sweet and juicy fig, and the green notes too. Like crushing the entire fig tree. But the 1st spray was too strong for me. It's very spicy and citrusy, it may be from the caraway. Then it become a fruity floral scent. But then it dries down to this sweet-bubblegum-y and furnished wood scent on my skin. Reminds me of one of a very popular bubblegum brand in my country.

I think this is my favourite of all the 100Bon fragrances. It has a lovely soft and alluring base. All of the 100Bon perfumes are rather linear and only last a very little while; however this one stays a little longer and opens beautifully. I suggest you buy the concentrated version; 100Bon fragrances are weak at best and even the concentrates are there and then gone. There is also a discernable almond note at the bottom of this, as with many of their fragrances.

This is a bright and fun fragrance! It starts with a blast of fresh green garden smell, then turns into a unique concoction of various notes. I find fig to be an interesting note, one needs to be careful how one renders it. It has some bitter aspect, some milky aspect. In a combination with raspberries and cream it smells like Meditteranean morning. It smells like the concept of love for life. It's positive, very happy and optimistic.

I am a fan of fig scents but this one is much too sweet and fruity for me. But it's still a non-typical scent. You wouldn't expect this to be unisex, though it's perfectly fine for men to smell like a fruit basket. Those who liked the fruity scents from Kiehl's Aromatic Blends line might appreciate this. This is not a typical green fig scent, rather warm, ripen fig fruit. More of a bubblegum character. Quite nice and unique, not a typical mainstream, very good to be a natural scent, but it becomes a skin scent after 30 minutes... not worth for me.

The representation of fig here reminds me of the fig note in Pulp by Byredo: ripe, sweet fig fruit. I quite like this scent, but regrettably it's too short lasting.

sweet fig candy! prefacing this review with the fact i own the version of this with a black label. back to what's important: fig! candy! the raspberry and mandarin alongside fig in the top notes makes this initially smell like a pez candy? fig pez candy?? the violet, rose, and carvi quickly become the star of the show in the dry down. i wish the fig lasted longer given the name, but i could see myself wearing this fragrance in late spring. while not the fig of my dreams, i might reach for this occasionally... the added spice makes it just slightly less appealing to my tastes, but i can see the chic appeal with this one!

Sweet with a lot of figs, which is no surprise according to the name, what is surprising is how much it smells like a candle. Waxy and oily, but not yet lit. This is a fragrance candle in your windowsill, one you have forgotten about during the endless days of summer sun, and now it has melted down to a lump of fragranced wax. Alas, the mandarin is giving it a much-needed citrus moment to balance out all of the sweetness in this, but the rose gets very overpowering after a short while, and this gets pretty cloying. At the same time, it is very intimate, but in all honesty, I am glad it is so.

I was excited to try something with a spiced fig, but don't be fooled by the name. This is a sweet rosey scent. I finished my travel spray, and I got a few compliments, but it wasn't special and I don't miss it.

I made an exception to my ”no buying decants to test out new scents until all samples in my stash have been tested” rule for this fig scent from 100BON, because its note list looked so enticing to me, and because I had been curious about the brand. So my expectations were high, but I have to say I’m disappointed: I like sweet scents, almost without limits to how sweet they can get as long as it’s a balanced sweetness, but this is too much. That balance isn’t there, there’s just no relief; for example, as StellaDiverFlynn below mentions, there’s no trace of the lovely fresh greenness of the fig leaf here, and this composition could really have used it. Instead, the (almost over)ripe sweetness of the fig fruit is joined by various other equally jammy-sweet notes and even whipped cream, giving the scent a distinctly buttery aspect that I don’t care for. The only thing that sticks out is the carvi aspect, and that’s rather weak and kind of clashes with the composition as a whole, only serving to muddle it up. Maybe I’m being harsh because I wanted to like this so much, or maybe my sample just went off or something, but this is really not for me. Too bad!

Carvi & Jardin de Figuier is not so much about caraway or fig tree as the name may suggest. It mostly smells like sweet, borderline saccharine apricot/raspberry jam. There isn't much discernable fig, let alone green fig leaves. The flowers are not distinctive, either, and generally serve to enhance the jammy fruity sweetness. The sillage is relatively close, and the longevity is short of 6 hours. For the price, I think Carvi & Jardin de Figuier is on par with most commercial sweet fruity floral. But it definitely is not a green fig type of fragrance.

شروعی با برگ انجیر که کاملا حس سرد، سبز، شور، شرجی و فلزی برگ انجیر رو بهمراه داره ( شباهتش به اینوکتوس یا شایدم یکمی ومنیتی) ولی اصلا پایدار نیست ( شاید کمتر از یک دقیقه) به مرور اون حس شور و گس جای خودشو به انجیر میوه ای و شیرین میده( که درینجا دیگه عطر، پخش چندانی نداره) و هرچی بیشتر ازش میگذره میوه ای تر، شیرین تر ، نرم تر و لطیف تر میشه و بویی شبیه کیکهای میوه ای و‌ یکمی نمکی به خودش میگیره
