Eau de Thé & Gingembre

Lemon Juice EDP. Eau de Thé & Gingembre (EDTG) is a very simple, minimalistic scent and that is exactly what makes it beautiful! It opens up immediately with a blast for lemony citruses; bright, energizing, freshly squeezed. That lemony opening dominates from beginning to end. As it dries down, though, mild woodiness appears fadely. Lemony, zesty, bright, fresh, invigorating, energizing. It is a simple formula & there lies its beauty. I enjoyed the lack of sourness one might get from excessive yellow citruses. This was zesty without the bad parts. The fragrance EDTG reminds me of the most is L'Occitane's Verveine; same straightforward zesty, lemony freshness However, being a natural EDP, natural oils are used here, that is a plus and a minus. A plus because it's natural. Who doesn't like natural oils aromatherapy? The minus is the performance. Despite EDTG being an EDP, the performance is quiet poor, unfortunately. You get 3-6 hrs of detectable scent. After that it's a skin scent & you need to bury your nose, focus, & inhale deep to smell it. Found at good price, this is a great pick up. EDTG is a fantastic summer & daytime wear for both sexes. "Love"

I have and love this, though it is not very longlasting; you will have to reapply. But I do not understand why ginger is not mentioned in the notes here in Fragrantica at all?? It is of course a ginger fragrance - it is even in its name!! Anyway: it is lovely to wear on its own, if you want a soft fragrance. Or, it is lovely to top off some heavier fragrances that go well with an extra touch of ginger: like I use to do with Shalimar, Kenzo Jungle (Elephant), Molinard Habanita or JPG Classique. I think that works out really lovely. Too bad is that the price is too high for a fragrance that wears off that quickly. But if you can find it for a much reduced price, like I did, it is absolutely worth it.

I'm collecting 10/15ml 100 Bon scents and prefer the concentrated versions, but went for the basic of this as I didn't expect it to be a favourite, plus it was £3.07!!! I get a faint hint of tea, otherwise it is a lemony cedar monster on me. It's lasted 7 hours so far today and is still strong. I actually love it and will look for a 50ml bottle at a reasonable price. I stalk certain websites that change the price of these regularly and pounce when I find a bargain.

Absolutely lovely summer scent. I get a strong citrussy ginger start. The tea note is there but it is a very light one poles apart from Tea for Two (L'artisan). But that is it, just a start, no middle, no end. Disappears so quickly, which is maddening as it came in with such promise, but as it was only £12.99 at TK Maxx I can re-apply readily. Worth a blind buy but only at a low price point.

Finally i got some samples of 100 bon that one of the is the & gingembre ! To me it's so summer and spring sitrus strong scent mix with dance of very light woody scent that i have ever seen So fresh and nice and cleen But sadly its so beyon of very pooor performances On my skin and my clothes the longevity was about 1 hour or 90 minutes at the max And the projection aslo so poor about 30 cm sillage and just some minutes you get projection I really love this scent but i don’t know why they did it like this its not good performances accually it has very very very poooooor of it My rate is : Scent : 8/10 Longevity : 1/10 Projection : 1/10 Performances : 0/10 Value of money : 1/10 Overall : 2.2/10 I really regret about its performances which is so poor —————————————————————————- خب فرصت پيش اومد كه چند تا از سمپل هاي اين عطر جديد و برند جديد را تست كنم يكي از اين سمپل ها همين عطره كه فوق العاده مناسب تابستان و بهاره اما متاسفانه اصلا اصلا كيفيت ساخت خوبي نداره ماندگاري كمتر از يك ساعت و پخش بو ميشه گفته نداره و يا در حدود چند دقيقه يا نهايت ١٥ دقيقه متاسفانه خيلي كيفيت ساخت پاييني داره بايد منتظر باشيم و ببينيم ايا رمورموله در اينده ميشه مه كمي بهتر بشه اوضاع اين بوي خوب يا حتي بد تر از اين هم ممكنه بشه متاسفانه با اين كه خيلي بوشو دوست داشتم اما ارزش خريد با اين كيفيت ساخت را نداره شاد باشين

On my skin, Eau de Thé & Gingembre is primarily a bright, sunny, refreshing bergamot fragrance. I don't perceive any significant "tea" note; it's probably the bergamot that's meant to evoke something akin to Earl Grey tea. The ginger here doesn't show much of its juicy fresh spiciness, but is rather dry and slightly woody, which grounds the bergamot nicely. As time progresses, the initial tartness of bergamot is gradually replaced by a tender sweetness, which might be the jasmine. The vivid, vegetal fragrance of bergamot is also chewed away by a more silent grapefruit, while the ginger shimmers like ember amist the quiet, abstract woody base. I got an overall longevity around 5 hours, and the fragrance doesn't project any further from the proximity of the skin. As a sunny, radiant citrus fragrance, Eau de Thé & Gingembre can easily put a smile one's face. Personally, I find it quite similar to Guerlain Bergamote Calabria, but with a more attractive price. If you happen to be looking for an uplifting, carefree, sweet citrus perfume, I think Eau de Thé & Gingembre would work quite well.

As I have only tested Annick Goutal's Eau d'Hadrien a couple of times in my life and it's been around 5-10 years since the last time, I can't recall it exactly, but my thoughts went there as soon as I smelled 100 Bon's Eau de Thé & Gingembre. If memory serves, Eau d'Hadrien is more uncompromisingly sharp and more clearly smelling of citrus and pine. Eau de Thé Gingembre, I think, is easier to wear, more well rounded with the jasmin and base notes. At least on the back of my hand, I can still smell the dry down after 7 hours – only close to the skin, but I can't complain. All in all a happy, nice scent. Not my top 5, but assuming I find it for the right price, I'll happily buy it and wear it on warm days or in the morning. :)

Starts out smelling identical to effervescent ginger beer with citrus. It quickly fades into a lemony tea with an underlying sweetness, not necessarily gourmand sugar. I was hoping this would be more like Origins Ginger Essence. Upside, the ginger seems natural, not artificial to my nose. I don't find any resemblance to Un Jardin Sur Le Nil Hermès. Eau de Thé & Gingembre might be good for layering with other fresh perfumes which may benefit from a zing of ginger.

this is really really good. uplifting, i get green tea with lime. just the right balance between sour and sweet. fresh and happy scent. As other's said longevity and sillage is not huge but not expecting that for a citrus scent plus the price point is quite reasonable. so good!!! P.S. I tried the white labelled bottle (edp), just found out there's a 'concentree' version (black label), too. Bit confusing.

A versatile fragrance, perfect for hot days. Inoffensive, I can smell a lemon tea with ginger. Fresh, spicy, perfect for office, brunch, fun party... You can share it with your partner without any problem (maybe more for my husband to my opinion). It is a linear scent. Very good value but the sillage and longevity are moderate... Vegan, made in France and cruelty free... 8/10

A very Nice scent. Can remind you about both lemon green tea in the start, and then Earl Grey tea. It gets sweeter by and by, but not too Sweet. The Ginger is very strong initially. The best tea scent I have tried. Maybe good for Autumn? Too bad they stopped selling this brand, Bon 100, here in Norway...

As others mentioned all the perfume from this line have absolutely 0 sillage and longevity BUT they are all lovely. This is a very simple lemony perfume, with no ginger but a bit of vetiver. Lovely for summer mornings and as radiant as a day in the dun

Smells good though I don't know what is tea and ginger in it. It reminds me of Eau de Jatamanji by L'Artisan parfumeur. Too bad it's so weak, I hope they will release an "intense" version.

This scent reminds me of ginger beer with lemon. Adore this during the summertime.

A light fresh ginger scent. Reminds me of tea with lemon and so relaxes me.

The citrus in this is nice, there's a slight woodsiness eventually as well, but ofc, it becomes (barely,) a skin scent in about twenty-something minutes. If you are lookout for a layering scent to add extra ginger to something, Demeter's ginger ale is your best alternative - that really does smell like actual, (strong) ginger ale - not that the perfumes itself is strong -just that it smells like strong gingerale not weak ginger ale. These are about £14/50 ml in TKMAXX - so not a huge bargain considering the lasting power - you can get 125ml of Demeter Gingerale from FragX (US company) for about £17.99 & its pretty good lasting power comparatively. As said though - the citrus in this is not sour, & is v natural & quite lovely, so it depends what your looking for

To my nose this starts like an orange-flavoured Mentos candy. And then lemon, lemon and more lemon. I don't smell much tea nor ginger. It disappears after about an hour and a half.

No no no no... Paint thinner and male sweat. Pass.

Disappointing. I get no tea or ginger, only lemon.

I got a great deal on a travel spray from Walgreens. I bought another scent from 100 Bon in the same order, Amaretto Framboise Poudree. The sillage and longevity of Eau de Thé & Gingembre are not great as other reviewers have mentioned. I think it lasted all of 20 minutes before becoming a whisper of a skin scent. Not surprising given the house's natural ingredient stance but disappointing all the same. Amaretto Framboise Poudree outlasted this one to the point I can't believe they're from the same house. First spritz is tea, of the green or earl grey/black variety, followed soon after ginger with some fresh citrus. I can see this being a nice scent for hot weather. It may also be a good candidate for layering, especially with other tea or fresh scents. (New purchase/still testing so review may change)

This is really lovely. Simple but lovely. The only drawback, is of course, its longevity. Even with a generous spritzing, it's abysmal. Gone in less than five minutes. To call it a wisp of a scent would be accurate. But if you absolutely, positively must have your perfume be 100% natural, this (and others from the line are equally well done, especially the Bergamote & Rose Sauvage), you've got more proper perfumes to choose from without resorting to wearing essential oils, neat.
