Eau Du Parc

So I don't quite understand why this small miracle is so underrated. It's pleasant, reliable and fresh. Strongly reminds me of Tom Ford Noir Anthracite and others from Noir collection. Though contrary to Tom Ford this small EdC costs like 5-10 times less. Also, note that it's eau de cologne, not parfum or toilette as different sellers can point. However, given the EdC concentration, it's longevity and sillage is worth of EdP. And most definitely price is.

Fresh green bitterness, unisex perhaps slightly more masculine IMHO. It has a good longevity on the skin, and gives a pleasant garden springtime sensation. It’s not minty but grassy, herbal, nearly medicinal. Like a relaxing park in the middle of a busy city. Ed: I tried it again and yes, there some peppery mint at the beginning, then comes the herbal bitterness, more serious with more depth, but the cooling effect goes on, it’s nice.

A rough opening that is better skipped moves into a green refuge.

I got a bottle as a blind buy because I had heard about the brand and got excited to see a product of theirs at my local drug store. There was a 50% discount on top so I thought: 'what could go wrong with an eau de cologne, let's go for it'. Well, it turns out that this is a very different eau de cologne than what my nose can tolerate. Very green - which is not everyone's cup of tea already - but when combined with the patchouli the whole scent reminds me of spirit vinegar (sadly not even cider vinegar) and turns rather off-putting. I will try to convince my partner into it, maybe it would turn out better with his skin chemistry but a definite fail on me.
