Gingembre & Vétiver Sensuel

I'm wearing this today and I have to say it's pretty interesting. The vetiver is green, almost clean & fresh but the dirtiness is being provided by something more in the realms of a patchouli and cedarwood. The ginger is there, but it's not, hot gingerbread nor is it fresh and vibrant, newly cut root, but thankfully it's not the essential oil type ginger which I find lacking in realistic or authentic ginger note. It reminds me of something by Lush, there's definitely bergamot and a natural linalool smell both citrus and lavender, aromatic. On par this is the best of the three I got in a pack together and it lasts a bit better too. It's not a complete muddy mess but it's definitely natural perfumery at a decent level, not elite.

I also bought it as part of the travel set at TK Maxx. Fully subscribe to the previous comment about Lush vibe. It smells like one of their bathbombs:-) For me it is mainly about bergamot and lavender with a hint of zinginess from ginger that fades of within minutes. It definitely has a fougere character and the vetiver is quite subtle and clean (the way I like it). I will certainly give it a wear, but do not find it worthy of full bottle purchase. Also out of the three sampled fragrances, this one projects the least and is gone in couple of hours.

Very interesting scent, balsamic and fresh. Wonderful for spring. Ginger isn't really strong, only hinted. Vetiver, ceder and lavander are really the main ingredients. The problem is (as with all the perfumes from this brand) longevity. The first spray is really powerful but it fades quickly. It one of the most persistent scents from this house but keep in mind that this is the destiny of natural ingredients.

This one links back to 100 Bon but doesn't show in their page list so I can't see the year it was brought out. (@Fragrantica ?) New 10ml here and I can't tell if it's off or not. On first spray I get a classic 'off top notes' smell, then hairspray (I think this might just be me and that vetiver smells like that to me, as it did with Bijan Wicked) with an intermittent almost non existent hint of ginger. If it's not off, it's disappointing because I was hoping for more ginger. Ok, trying it again today. After an initial blast of .. mint .. It's smoky, churchy, and dare I say, pissy. I wouldn't call it sensual. Still can't work out if it's meant to smell like this, bad blind buy I think.

I like it! It does what it says and does it well. You get nice ginger and vetiver combo in the opening and after an hour it becomes just a nice vetiver scent, which lingers for about 3-4 hours, becoming more and more close to the skin. It is not very longlasting, but it is totally normal for a perfume made only from natural ingredients and they claim this one is. I am puzzled by the notes pyramid here - it lists so many which I can't smel at all (I mean tonka bean? Almond? To my nose AWOL, luckily). At the same time there is no ginger on the list for a perfume that is named after ginger.

3 in a box from tk maxx. Best of the lot but I love vetiver. Reminds me of vetiver bourbon from Monotheme. Of the three I have tried this stays longest but that will be the Vetiver!
