Nineveh

spicy, sweet, salty, deep. sweet blast of cinnamon in the opening, with amber and vanilla giving a steady heartbeat throughout, and it dries down with a lovely combination of ambergris cinnamon and musk (btw ambrette seed/musk is listed on their website). the dates give it a rich sweetness as well. reminds me a bit of Armani’s Ambre Eccentrico but with less jammy fruit and more cinnamon and vanillic notes. it’s an intimate scent and sits closer to the skin for most of the duration, but i don’t see that as a bad thing. it lasts 8 or so hours on me, and days on my clothes, getting beautiful wafts of it all day long... i am an addict, now update: the 109 parfums brand is now discontinued :( it was a good run. so glad i have a bottle and a half of this stuff, though i’m kicking myself for not snagging a bottle of Lail when i had the chance, ah well!!!

In the opening there’s dates with its natural sweetness. The scents is warm, at the same time as there’s an animalistic and raw side to this perfume, slightly leathery. Beautiful and mouth-watering.
