Marie de Medicis

This is quite a beautiful milk & honey fragrance. Not nearly as strong as I thought it would be from the reviews and stats on here. This feels much higher quality than I was bracing myself for. It is a gentle milk & honey floral-gourmand. The milk isn't strong and lactonic but this still gives a feeling of a milk bath somehow... The honey isn't in your face honey pot. The florals give this a lift and fragrant backdrop - this is a real perfume, not a syrupy synthetic gourmand mess. What a lovely surprise this is. She's a keeper and a comfort fragrance. Feminine & wholesome, a woman in her youth with perfect skin. Although this doesn't read as juvenile. Wear on a sunny Spring afternoon, a gentle breeze with the temperature "just right". I imagine this would smell like heaven on skin, being warmed by the sun. Win.

This is lovely. Sweet, floral, lactonic, honeyed and warm. But through it all, I find it charming and refreshingly sophisticated. A beautiful fragrance and one I hope to have in my collection soon 🤍✨

This is very similar to Sira des Indes by Jean Patou. The last one is more fruity and floral in the opening but once it settles down it is hard to distinguish between them. On paper after 20-ish minutes they smell almost the same. Did not try it on skin side by side though.
