Superstition No. 13

This is a new fragrance from a new House. While the House is not haunted it does questions about the ways in which we are superstitious. Triskaidekaphobia goes back the the New Testement and the 13th member at the last supper (Judas). I do not worry when I wear this one. There is nothing outlandishly new about the ingredients, but I like the blend enough to wear it during any season as a daytime scent. I received a sample from Luckyscent who has never steered me wrong on any fragrance I have purchased. While I am going to wait a to see if it is bottle worthy, it is an approachable scent that will give those who like a bit an old church vibe mixed with green herbs. a low-level thrill. I do not want a daytime scent in warm weather to overwhelm those nearby. The silage is moderate and the longevity is middle of the road. I have worn it about 4 times at this point and each time I like it more, always a sign of a well-blended fragrance. I would encourage people to try a sample

Review Foundation: Have a tester, live in a high humidity country, tried because I was looking for a spooky, occultish, witchy scent. // Thoughts: It opens very citrus and clean. Not a juicy or sweet citrus, but green. It melted into a sweet citrus candy with no tartness but with a spicy amber. There is no darkness nor behind the shadows vibe, it’s clean and citrus. Yet, it’s still magical. If I were to assign it a story this would be worn by a witch who wears all white, or a sophisticated witch, or an elder neopagan, or a black wearing gothic goddess twisting your expectations. // End Opinion: It’s ok? It is not for me, I could not get past the sweetness on my skin, it became cloying. I do find it a paganish scent and recommend a tester for those looking for an otherworldly fragrance — it is interesting and different and I can see how it could work for someone else.

I was dying for a sample of this. Finally, despite the hype and marketing it’s fair to say from my point of view it’s a pretty big non event. Despite the note table it comes across as a smooth extremely light ambery vanilla with a dusty mouldy darkness. After 15 minutes the herbs and spices become clearer in a clump but it’s very much nose to skin. I’m wearing Initio Musk Therapy on the other arm it’s flooding the room.a I’m sure good quality but very weak. It smells almost identical to the waft of dry ice fog after it’s sprayed on a dance floor nightclub. It also reminds me of a weaker ode to Un Nuit Nomade Montauk which is a walloping powerhouse. Pass even for the price.

Smells like an abandoned house everyone thinks is haunted, that people have been performing seances in for years. But have also pissed themselves in when they get scared by what they see. For real, it smells like incense, sage, oranges, and piss. Idk if I'm the only one who gets that, but it smells like pee to me. That's the only thing that makes me dislike this fragrance. I can live with it's average performance and weak projection, but it's that hint of urine I get that just completely turns me away from this fragrance. Real shame too, because beyond that I really like the Halloween vibe it has.
