Sweet Tobacco Spirits

The expression "Wow!" pretty much captures my sentiments regarding this fragrance. I picked-up a bottle of Sweet Tobacco Spirits three months ago but decided to wait 'till the Fall to try this one. Although it's the heat of a late-August, I decided to break the label and give this one a whirl last night. Bam!...instant love! While this fragrance is not completely original--not that much is--I feel that it is a damn fine fragrance that performs well and smells spanktacular! Okay, "Wow! and "Spanktactular" sums up my thoughts. A short while after aplying this scent, I stopped by local store to pickup an Argentine Malbec along with Newcastle Ale since it was kick-back-and-relax homemade pizza and movie night at my girlfriend's place. I received two compliments while standing in the check-out line...one from a gal and another from a male cashier who asked what I was wearing. Later my girlfriend told me I smelled amazing and buried her head into my neck and chest while being greeted at the door. Surprisingly, it was not at all cloying--to me--in the Summer Night heat (just don't go nuts on the trigger) but this scent is far better suited for the Fall and Winter months. So what does spanktacular smell like? In a nutshell, I find this fragrance to be a very nice quality tobacco scent with plenty of cognac, honey and a really gorgeous sweet-aromatic accord. I don't see tobacco listed in the notes pyramid, but that's what I smell. Moreover, while tonka and vanilla can certainly be detected in the drydown, this blend comes across smelling more like tobacco, cognac (boozy) and honey until that really nice boozy tonka/vanilla vibe takes over with just a hint of tobacco in the background. Performance of Sweet Tobacco Spirits is solid; lasts 12+ hours on my skin and projects above average...heavy for the first 2-hours, within a arm the next 4-hours, and then transitions closer to the skin for the next 6+ hours on my skin. This scent is a crown-pleaser and makes for a solid club scent--although not beastly it smells fantastic, performs well, and can hold its own against loud fragrance the first 2-3 hours--and it is also a great date night fragrance since you'll receive consideration attention while having dinner, followed by receiving considerable affection while cuddling after desert and drinks. Sweet! No...make that Sweet Tobacco Spirits.

Sweet Tobacco Spirits is the only scent from the company 18.21 Made Made, and given the absence of any previous compositions, it would have been difficult to know what to expect if not for the huge hype this has received the past few months in the online community. Its accords are honey, vanilla, tonka, wine, and woods, so while tobacco isn't a listed note, it's nonetheless inspired by the otherwise sweet boozy blend that actually constitutes the fragrance and makes me think of a smoky room where wood and tobacco are part of the general smell. The wine smell is one of fortified wine like brandy, port, or sherry, not truly red, white, or blush wine itself. So it's sharp, pointed, but fermented in a way that's seemingly old and sweet. Tonka provides a certain powderiness, and there's an indistinct smoky and woody quality about it. The genre of "sweet tobacco" fragrances is certainly broad, with a few specific fan favorites, and while I generally find that there's not much new road to be paved, Sweet Tobacco Spirits offers something new. It's most similar to By Kilian Back to Black due to honey dominance AND smokiness, whereas Parfum de Marly Herod has the honey but not the smokiness. Also similar, though not as similar, are Thierry Mugler A*Men Pure Havane, Dua Fragrances Honey Havane, and Wiseguys Vegas Cologne. The fragrance is described as a perfume, and while it's unclear if that actually denotes an extrait or pure perfume concentration, the juice certainly performs unusually well on my skin, on par with its contemporaries listed above, perhaps to the point that this could be borderline cloying if worn in warmer weather. At $80 for 100ml, the value is high (imagining its alleged earlier pricing of $30 or $40 is difficult), comparable to Pure Havane or Vegas Cologne. With its especially boozy, slightly powdery, smoky, and woody character, Sweet Tobacco Spirits is enough of a departure from the other "sweet tobacco" mainstays that it's one I'll likely buy. I recommend that potential fans try it out. 8 out of 10

This nectar from the gods is a boozy, but sweet fragrance that should be worn with a leather jacket or on a boat. Better yet a gentleman, who knows he's about to pick someone up and get down that night(Sorry i'm coming down from a high right now...aka unsolicited compliments). It's a lovely scent, i was stopped by a cop on my way to work and was told (You smelled like meed, but it's nice). I'll take that from a sexy cop any day. I think i found my special occasions scent. Update: I've notice only Fragheads like this fragrance.But the normal person on the street, don't like it. Because it's too different(People kept telling no they don't like it, it smells to different). I used six sprays...both wrist, back & front of my neck, chest and front of my shirt. Will I buy this again?...No.(I got the gift set along with a backup bottle...I'm set) Should You Skipped It, Sample It First or Blind Buy It? Sample it first hands down(But if you like honey & boozy like pure malt, then this might be for you)! Can you use it as a unisex scent? No! Is it the old, new or current formulation? I recently developed hobby of collecting cologne and I bought more than half of my (now) collection blindly including 18.21 Man Made Sweet tobacco. I must say when I bought it , I never used it. Just yesterday I thought to try. I wore 3 sprays. It started projecting very mild and I thought I made a mistake buying this one. None of my other blind bought failed on me so I was little bit disappointed. BUT I WAS WRONG! After few minutes, this started the MAGIC! The Sweet and Tobacco aroma just kept growing and growing and not for 1 or 2 but more than 6 hours. I had strong wiffs of it. Initially I was thinking I had less sprays but then realize even 3 sprays are more than enough! Luckily I did not spray on my cloth which I usually do! With 18.21 Sweet Tobacco, no problem of longevity at all! Lasted more than 12 hours easily! This is now going to be one of my favorite Tobacco colognes. Others are Burberry london, PDM Herod, D&G The One EDP, Al Haramain Amber Oud Tobacco Edition and JV Vintage. I love Tom Ford TV too but currently it's par my budget! I just received this product and I'm going to compare it to three of my favorite colognes currently. A) Cigar (Remy Latour) B) By The Fireplace (Replica) C) Jazz Club (Replica) A) Hands down for me, Cigar is incredible. It's masculine, sexy, and very timeless. It's got a tobacco scent to it but in a way that's not obvious. You can wear this during any season but best when it's cooler. B) By The Fireplace is the most gorgeous smoky sweet scent I've ever come across. It puts Tom Ford Oud, Mugler Havane, etc to shame (they smell absolutely horrendous IMO). It's pricey at $126 for a bottle but well worth it if you want something truly smells smokey and sweet. DEFINITELY a colder weather scent. C) Jazz Club is an incredible scent that reminds you of leather, Manhattans, and a touch of cigars. Great silage - definitely a winter scent. So I sprayed 18.21 on me and took note of what I smelled as the time passed by. Initially it's incredibly sweet...overpowering scents of honey and vanilla. As time passed, it turned into a more cigar leaf scent but one that's been dipped in honey or something sweet. It doesn't have earthy tones like Cigar does. As even more time passes by, the scent becomes very tobacco-ish. Definitely a nice scent but the sweetness still remains and is somewhat overpowering for me. Not what I expected. If the sweetness was toned down a bit...maybe by a half, this would be an excellent scent because it has so many layers as time passes by. For now I'm not a real fan. But I'll try it a couple of times to see. If it doesn't work out, it's a gift.

***Update from 7/15/25*** 18.22 Absolute Mahogony (Blue Label). Im leaving a review on this page for 18.22 Sweet Tobacco Spirits bc there's no page as of yet for 18.22 Absolute Mahogony. The smell is AMAZING! Kinda/Sorta Fresh/Woody and hard to describe to be honest, but I REALLY like it alot and its garnered me 3 compliments this week alone since I pulled it out again and wore it. The closest and Id say pretty accurate comparison I can make to this scent would DEFINATELY have to be Hanea Mori's HIM FOR SURE! There's a sorta "Citrus" in the opening and the life of the wear which is AT at all acidic, astringent or sharp in any way. Also initially I was a bit dissapointed bc the opening (The best part) would fade after a couple.hours leaving a very boring "Creamy/Woody" scent which was pleasant, but VEEERY WEAK and again, BOOORING! lol! Well I am very Excited and HAPPY to report that after "Maturating" for a couple months the over-all performance has certainly improved and that intoxicating opening now lingers throughout the life of the wear! (6 hours on skin, like 12 on clothes where it projects well, and is still noticable the following day.) These are a bit pricey (Around $80), but if ya have e the patience and are willing to let these fragrances Maturate properly, they are well worth the price! Btw, this is a Soft Citrus, Creamy/Woody experience with light touches of vanilla and it smells so nice and is PERFECT as a Signature Scent! An 8.5 outta 10 in my book! VEEERRY nice! 18.21 Sweet Tobacco Spirits Back in 2017, I was on the hunt for a date-night scent. I tried classics/hyped like Jazz Club and The One EDP, but none of them quite worked for me. Then I found this one for just $50. At the time, I didn't even know it was a dupe for By Kilian Back to Black, but 18.21 Sweet Tobacco completely exceeded my expectations. The fragrance opens with a bold, boozy, and spicy wine/cognac note. Unlike the more mass-appealing opening of Jazz Club, this one is unique and captivating. It soon evolves into a beautiful honey and tobacco combination. Its performance is as solid as you'd expect from a scent of this type. Scent Profile: 8/10 - It's not a complex fragrance, but it is beautifully blended. Versatility: 5/10 - This is a cold-weather scent, perfect for a date night. Your partner will love it. I once wore it and a girl later told me that her pillow smelled like me—an incredible compliment. Projection: 9/10 - It's a BEAST. Longevity: 10/10 - It lasts over 12 hours on a winter day, which is more than enough. Overall: 9/10 - I might be biased since this was my first tobacco scent, but I really love this one. I've since tried many other tobacco fragrances, and this one along with Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille are the two that truly stand out. They are fragrances I will keep in my collection.

Wow, I didn't expect this one to be so good! I feared yet another tonka/cedar "impression" of cherry pipe tobacco, or a sticky/syrupy mess with a hint of tobacco, or a synthetic/chemical tobacco scent, or more of a gourmand scent, or something like harsh white musk ruining it (as it seems to be for me with vintage Michael for Men by Kors lately), but this is the "real deal." I'd compare it to the drydown of the Kors, but this doesn't have the harsh white musk, is sweeter, and the tobacco note is just right. It's not vanillic or as fruity as Tobacco Vanille, and it's more complex It's also got some obvious leather, which isn't listed. I'm not sure why Perry Ellis' Black Vanilla Absolute was being hyped when this was selling at the same time, as that is a nice scent but this is niche at its best; the old designers didn't go this far, or else they added too much lavender or something else to distract attention away from the tobacco note. Any tobacco note fan needs to try this one, IMO. I have yet to try Back to Black. And if anyone has a bottle he/she doesn't want, I've got a whole lot of things I'd swap for a backup bottle! UPDATE: After perhaps 3-4 hours it smells more like Tobacco Vanille at about the same stage, possibly later, since TV is so strong.

Sweet Tobacco Spirits is an absolute killer of a fragrance. The comparisons to By Kilian Back to Black are worthy, both with strong, ambrosial honey notes (Manuka honey is missing from this note pyramid) and rich, dark fruity tobacco. B2B is a jazz lounge fragrance, sitting is a velvet tub chair, getting lost in a dream-like smoky haze, while Sweet Tobacco Spirits is the saxophonist stepping off the stage, sauntering right to your table and serenading you with a hypnotically smouldering beckoning. More masculine than B2B without the powdered dry-down, Sweet Tobacco Spirits still remains a unisex fragrance, and is especially fantastic layered to your liking (today, I'm wearing it with creamy VC&A Gardenia Petale). The wine note in this fragrance is a little tannic, a little tangy with spicy saffron, like a young ruby port wine. There is also a subtle raw sueded leather/birch-tar note in the composition that contributes to the masculine inclination. Dry, smooth woods and gentle vanilla musk weave through the honeyed sweetness and bring a smart balance. Sweet Tobacco Spirits is unconditionally a finely-crafted honeyed-tobacco affair.

“Sweet, Playful, but Masculine” I am a lover of tobacco scents, so I had to give Sweet Tobacco a try. It opens up with a blast of honey, but shortly after a deeper layer of woody notes can be detected, and then gradually settles to sweet tobacco. The sweet and honey notes are always present until the dry down. Sweet fragrances can be cloying, but Sweet Tobacco is extremely well blended. It is sweet, playful, but also masculine. Picture a gentleman who is masculine but with a playful side to him. It smells really pleasant, and it is a type of fragrance classy women love to smell on the masculine men. It garners compliments. Sweet Tobacco Spirits is not the best or most sophisticated tobacco fragrance on the market, but it has to be one of the best fragrances money can buy. Final verdict - Niche Snobs: give it a try and don't be obsessed with price or name. It worth every penny. Designer Snobs: the hype is real, but don't get too jumpy. There are better tobacco based fragrances on the market. 10/10 for money. 10/10 in its class. 8/10 overall. If you like tobacco, you must try it.

Lovely scent - way better in performance than say Killian Light My Fire especially for the price which is more subtle. A distant louder and better analogous perfume for comparison is Xerjoff Naxos which is far more complicated. There is an abundant sticky honey in this - wether it’s the boozy wine with the tonka and vanilla replicating an approximation or there is an error in the notes I don’t know either way I can process a wine accord but it’s pretty much a well done honey with vanillic body and the woods (maybe teak like?) popping through giving the impression of tobacco as a mix. One of the top purchases I’ve made with close to the best bang for your buck - a sort of Subaru WRX amongst Porsche 911’s if you like. Weirdly though accurately this can tick a number of fans of scents in either, vanilla, tobacco, woods or gourmand honey - wine or fruit not so much. So what do you classify this one as? For me this is a honey with all the right complimentary notes I like - it’s the only Honey I can wear other than Light my Fire which does not give me performance v price.

My 18.21 Man Made Sweet Tobacco arrived this week with the matching body wash and hairspray. WOW...they smell amazing! The hairspray smells almost as good as the actual fragrance and the body wash is soooo good. The body wash smell, while long lasting for a body wash, does not last all day like some claim! The actual Sweet Tobacco on the other hand has BEYOND amazing longevity! 1 spray lasted on my wrist 1/2 day, and while the projection of course faded as the day faded, it never went to a mere skin scent...you could still smell it (no pressing the nose into the wrist, LOL). If you like or love Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and you like or love the scent of real honey....you will love, love Sweet Tobacco. I do not smell any wine at all, which is a good thing since I do not like the scent or flavor of wine! I cannot honestly believe this note is even listed! If you compare the cost of the Tom Ford, this 18 21 Man Made scent is a total value!! Long lasting, smooth, beautiful and a very large bottle for the price. I am very, very impressed!!!

Wow...I'm sitting here enjoying a wonderful rainy day whilst being enveloped in this beautiful cloud of honey and pipe tobacco...the wine has began peeking through as well but still very much honey and tobacco and what a very wonderful and powerful fragrance this is, it obviously floats across an entire room easily because my wife keeps telling me how good I smell! Huge thanks to Dave at Fragrance Bros since I won this gem from him, but think I've definitely got another one to add to my favs! BEAST! awesome longevity and projection along with being an amazing fragrance, if you like honey and pipe tobacco type scents this one is definitely worth checking out! ***update - okay after a full wearing the wine does come through more but I never found it to be overbearing as some have and longevity....wow after cooking dinner and going to sleep, here I am the next morning and can still lightly smell this upon my skin more of just a sweet smell like the vanilla maybe but still a strong scent upon the clothing I was wearing yesterday. Love it!

I won this in the giveaway and knew right away from the notes that I would like it, but I didn't expect to LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I love tobacco notes, and I love sweet vanilla scents, but nothing prepared me for this! This trumps every tobacco scent I own! It's deep and rich and gorgeous. It wears a little cold because of the lack of spice compared to TF Tobacco Vanille, but that only adds to the allure. It's not girly and demure like my Fifi Chachnil, and not hooka scented like Tauer Vanilla Flash, and not thick and spicy like Chergui. Honestly, it smells like warm skin/soft leather (probably the tonka) and pipe tobacco soaked in booze and sugar. My beloved Habanita might be the scent of the speakeasy cigarette girls, but this Sweet Tobacco is the scent of the OWNER of the speakeasy, the one who calls the shots and takes all the risk. If Texas Guinan had a signature scent, this was probably it!! This is my new favorite "bad ass" scent. I'm definitely going to wear it to my favorite Cuban Burlesque Speakeasy club next week.

Well after a month of waiting I received my order from J.C. Penny's. I ordered the cologne and body wash. I was able to get them on sale so I got the cologne for $72 and the wash for $22. I bought this based off of the reviews, without smelling it. When it finally arrived, I smelled the bottle and thought "crap". It smelled disgusting, as one review said, like the carpet of a dive bar. My box had already been open, so I assume someone else thought the same thing and returned it. I decided to give it a try and know that for whatever reason some colognes need a few sprays sprayed out before use. I put it on and I liked it. I wore it to class and had two compliments that night. One girl past by, stopped an looked back and said "Wow, you smell really good" and then the girl next to me said "Incredible actually." Definitely a keeper. Has an oily feel as opposed to traditional colognes so that may be why it tends to perform better. I would definitely recommend. I have not tried the body wash yet.

My goodness this stuff is AMAZING!!!' I purchased it blindly on Amazon back when it was $30.00 and right before it became hyped up. I read a few good things about it and pulled the trigger. YES! It's everything you've read about so far and about 5 times more. For the money, it's one of the best buys I've ever made. And for me to make that statement, just look at my collection... Sweet tobacco, honey, you've think you smelled it before, but this time, it's a natural approach. Hold this thing up in the light and to will see for a fact that they use natural ingredients for real, no marketing gimmick there! This leaves that nice shiny glaze on skin like Xerjoff fragrances do too. But my FAVORITE thing about this juice, is the Drydown. It lasts, and lasts and lastssss. But it's not that, it's the smell! The dry down makes this scent it's own gem. 10/10 all around 6/16/2016 I just listed a extra bottle on eBay, get it before it's gone!!

So it's here. Blind bought off amazon for $36 shipped. I am so impressed. Wow. Even though I see no concentration on the bottle or presentation, I have been around long enough to tell this is a EDP pushing the fringe of extrait de Parfum. Now, this doesn't smell anything like tobacco vanille. Not even close. This smells like what by kilian Back to black should have been. Not as sweet. This is a PERFECT BLEND of tobacco and honey with a trace of well done spice. It is its own fragrance in that. It is niche. It is wonderful . It projects well and lasts quite long . It's still going strong a few hours after applied on back of hand. I am going to do a review of this on YouTube. I need a little more time with it of course as these words are of course just my first impressions. I am very impressed with it. Take a look at my collection to make sure we have similar tastes as smell is very subjective. Thanks!

This might be along the lines of Tobacco Vanille and Back to Black. I got my bottle for around $50 USD. If you're a fan of the above two frags, then check this one out! August 17th, 2016 edit: Excellent fragrance. I bought it in the beginning (or so) of the hype for a less than retail price. Totally worth it! It's an excellent sweet fragrance. If you're not a big fan of sweet fragrances, then avoid this. It's basically a honeyed tobacco fragrance - full stop. Reminds me of by Kilian's Back to Black, but perhaps not as 'baby powder-y' as the by Kilian. If you're a fan of Tobacco Vanille & Back to Black, then check this one out. Highly recommended! Even if it doesn't seem like your thing, I still suggest checking it out! p.s. It appears to be perfume strength; it simply says 'PERFUME'. No water appears in the ingredient listing, so this may be perfume/extrait strength.

What else is there to say on top of one of the most accurate and honest descriptions of a perfume? Well, to start, I never smelled any citrus, and the musk — that oh so addicting, slightly animalic musk — seems to not be powdery. Other than that, this is simply one of the best sweet tobacco fragrances out there — even better than the oft-hailed Naxos, which is a little too sweet and severely lacking in green tobacco leaves to me. To some friends though, it’s a grail. And did I share that this is a cheapie at USD 86 for a 100 mL ‘cologne’ blend that you need only 4 sprays of and will last your shirt a full 5 days and reside on skin for at least 10 hours in the tropical heat? A YouTube reviewer ranked this 85th of his Top 85 Tobacco fragrances, but I beg to differ. This should easily be in the Top 15 — or Top 5 even if we narrow it down to sweet tobaccos.

Yummy Tobacco. Rediscovered how good this is. Its a gourmand tobacco, pretty close to my #1 gourmand Ambre Nargile. The tobacco note is stronger here, and good quality notes for the price. Yes, this is a great cheepo fragrance. It reminds me of 2 fragrances, Aramis Tobacco Reserve, and Back to Black. The Aramis is great smelling but bad longevity. This has good performance. I generally dont like sweet fragrances, this does not feel overly sweet at all. I would prefer Back to Black to this, but this is very close, and a much better value. This is like comfort food, pizza, mac and cheese for your nose. Wine, tonka, vanilla, all very comforting notes. Its very smooth and well blended. The tobacco note is very good. I have mostly niche fragrances; This smells niche in every way, great blending, quality, and performance. Rating: 8.25/10 God bless. John 3:16

Bright citrus smoothed out with abundant Tonka, boozy wine, slightly syrupy with fruit on a slight musk. Gorgeous blind buy very similar to Killian Light my Fire only far more interesting and better developed for a fraction of the price. Decent average Sillage and life. If you like boozy sweet tobacco this is an absolute no brainer. I gave this a try, as I was looking for an alternative to Kilian's Back to Black, which had very poor performance on me. If you like tobacco fragrances, I think that this is a must try. On me, it is sweet and boozy, but there is also something a bit spicy and gourmand about it. On paper I was picking up notes of chocolate, but on skin the gourmand note smells like brown sugar...or almost like spiced/mulled wine. The performance on this one is fantastic! Great projection and it lasts all day! I find this to be completely unisex, although some may say it leans masculine. In my opinion, the sweetness of it keeps it from being too masculine. This is way better than the Kilian, but it is also sweeter than the Kilian. Love this one!!

I always debate whether to wear this or Pure Havane on my cold "brown-colored-clothes" days. Pure Havane is more manly, mature and cuddly. But 18.21 Man Made Sweet Tabacco Spirits is more playful, alluring. It has GREAT longevity. 8+ hours easily. Projection is moderate on dry down and it's safe to go 4 sprays on neck/behind ears and 1 or 2 sprays on your sweater if you want this sweet aroma to project all day at work. The compliment factor is through the roof! Noone that ever notices this scent will NOT give a compliment. People will immediately want to know what you're wearing. For me, the scent smells like honey & wine mixed together. It makes me smell edible and who doesn't love that? Definitely Backup Bottle Worthy. 9/10

When I started my fragrance journey, I hated tobacco fragrances. I couldn't fathom why anyone would want to smell like cigars. This is the tobacco fragrance that changed my perception. Not only do I love this tobacco fragrance, but I went back and revisited previous tobacco fragrances and appreciated those too. This was provided to me by 18.21 Man Made for review and as previously mentioned, tobacco wasn't my thing, so I was surprised when I loved every facet of this fragrance. Opening with a loud honey and red wine, dried fruits and tonka eventually enter the picture, because tobacco envelopes the whole thing. This is not only one of my favorite tobacco fragrances, it's one of my favorite fragrances of all time.

Sweet Tobacco Spirits Is appropriately named. My bottle benefited from trying it and letting it sit for six months. A little maceration must’ve occurred. I like the scent better now than I did six months ago. Now it has less wine and more tobacco scents to me. The blending is good and also seems better now than six months ago. This fragrance punches well above its weight/price. It’s definitely worth having in your collection if you like tobacco. I think it’s a mature scent not something I would expect on a younger crowd. This definitely isn’t a woman’s fragrance. I wonder if it will continue to improve with time? It also worked as overspray as well on other boozy or coffee related fragrances I have. 8.5/10

I own the spiced vanilla 3in1 body wash and the spiced vanilla beard balm by 1821. This cologne pairs perfect with it and the original sweet tobacco stuff of course. It’s syrupy when I first spray it but fades quickly into a sweet spicy honey vanilla scent, with masculine sweet musk finish. Absolutely perfect for the fall season! If anyone is like me i match my scents with the seasons. And this is my go to fall scent! Not sure where anyone gets a red wine scent out of it though? I will note though, this is a more mature fragrance for someone who enjoys the outdoors on a cool autumn day. So if you’re looking for a cheap scent that isn’t powerful that wears off quickly this is not for you.

I thought there was a wine note in this. Fragrantica's note listing doesn't show it. My nose detects a wine note. I love dried fruit notes, and it's welcome here in 18.21 Sweet Tobacco. It's similar to Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille in that regard. 18.21 also has saffron, cloves, amber, vanilla, and honey, all notes I tend to love. It's thick and sweet, and just ever so slightly raunchy. (Someone else opined that this somehow smells thin. How anyone can perceive that is beyond me. Sweet Tobacco is the thickest scent I have). Compared to similar profiles at the niche level, it may be a bit rough around the edges, but it's still very good. It conjured that speakeasy association well.

This stuff is awesome. The juice delivers. Believe the hype. If you’re not sure about it, pick up the body wash. You won’t be disappointed if you’re looking for a warm but sweet tobacco fragrance. It’s nearly 1:1 to the body wash, the fragrance being a little deeper and more nuanced, as you would expect. I have tried other fragrances with a leather tobacco type profile and I can’t stand the chemical smell (COUGH bentley for men intense), but this stuff is really well formulated for a cheaper fragrance and not only smells great but it has beast performance to boot. If this stuff had nicotine in it I would believe it because it is addicting. It smells like a sexy black and mild

Like one of the reviewers has said, this is Doc Holiday in a bottle. Very Manly scent and is very strong. Definitely a winter scent. This is something you wear whenever you go out with friends at the bar, or whenever you feel like making a statement. This fragrance smells very natural, woody, incense, and tobacco. It does not smell synthetic at all. I don't own any niche quality fragrances, but just smelling this I can only imagine what niche fragrances smells like. The only time I wouldn't wear this is when going out on a date, especially if you know if the girl is a feminist as she might get offended by the manliness of this scent. My overall score of this is a 9.0/10

Sweet Tobacco opens very sharply with a sweet lemon-sage scent. It quickly dries down to a more musky-honey tobacco. As it dries down, it moves closer to the body, projecting to about half an arm's length. The normal wear life is around 6 hours. Sweet Tobacco has a vintage feel but is still able to thrive in the modern era. Overall, I would consider 18.21 Man Made Sweet Tobacco to be a lighter tobacco fragrance compared to many other tobacco-based scents, which adds a bit more diversity in terms of when and where you can wear it. 6 to 8 hours of wear Compliment Factor 7.5 Scent 8/10 Sillage 7/10 Price to Value 9/10 (Purchased for $60)

This juice is lovely! This is blended very well. I can't believe it's $80. This is niche quality. One of the best tobacco fragrances I've put nose too, if not the best. I have MAC's Velvet Teddy and Replica Jazzy club in my collection and this juice is a mix of both those. If you have this and Velvet Teddy in your collection there's no need for you to have Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille. This juice is GORGEOUS and performs like a CHAMP!!! 12 hours plus and the sillage is 6ft plus for 4 or 5 hours and it's 2 to 3 ft after that until it's gone. $80 for this juice is unbelievable. This is definitely worthy of any man's collection.

I was expecting this one to be a bit rough for me. Out of bottle it smelled like A jar of loose leaf tobacco, and the opening was pretty similar with the citrus and woods adding to the harshness. Over the next few hours the vanilla bloomed and it was rich and full of texture and generally amazing. At the end of the day my son climbed into my lap and I smelled berries and asked if he'd been eating candy. Then I notices the powdery saffron note that seems to be in most my favorite fragrances this year and a hint of tobacco. I'm not smelling him. I'm smelling me. Over 12 hours in and this is still surprising me. Well done.

I recently just bought this fragrance. I will say, the opening was a little weird to me. I believe it's the wine note but it smells slightly sour and pungent. After that note wears off, I would say about 30-45 minutes the other notes are simply sublime. I actually spray it on a jacket one day, a couple days later, I could stop smelling my jacket. I literally screamed "So one smells good." Turns out, it was me! After the dry down, I'm left with a incense/tobacco with honeyed vanilla. This is perfect for the fall. I would rate this 9.5 out of 10, even though I'm not a fan of the opening note.

Honestly so happy to have this masterpiece in my collection especially for the price I snagged this one for.Its another one which is basically worth for more than it's asking price niche quality at an affordable price reallynworth about 3 or 4 fold the price.Smells like a plum liquor mixed with vanilla and honeyed tobacco very similar to two others in my collection Pure Havane and Geurlian L'homme Ideal EDP but still distinct enough.In fact it's almost a hybrid of the two with a dash of Issey Miyake Pulse of the Night great great scent and again at the price it's a steal.

I’m thankful to live in Texas where I can only get a few uses out of this every year, so I know it’ll last me for a long time. It’s easily one of my favorite tobacco fragrances. It’s not overly synthetic by any means. There’s just a lot to like about it, and basically nothing to dislike. Performance and scent both rate 9/10. Safe blind buy? I can’t stamp that for every age group. Under 25 may not gravitate toward it the way older gents do, but it truly is a wonderful addition to anyone’s collection. Cooler weather will allow the preferable experience out of this one.

I thought I'd reviewed this beauty but I can't find my review so will do again. This is one of my favorite, sweet tobacco, almost more like a Tonka really. It's very long lasting on me and I like it so much I've already used two bottles and purchased a couple of back ups and I've gifted this to a few males and females as its very unisex. It's does remind me alot of the killian but I prefer this ones scent and the drastic price difference I choose this one over that every time. It's a beautiful perfume if you like sweet dirty smokey vannila Tonka type perfumes A+

I got a sample of this recently in a goodie bag and thought oh cologne I’ll give it to the husband! ...and then I smelled it and wanted it back. GAH this smells good. It smells like what I think a speakeasy smells like, which was their intention. Boozy, woody, rich, pairs well with Peaky Blinders lol. I love Kilian Black Phantom but spending $200 on it just isn’t for me. They’re not the same, black phantom is rum/coffee and this one is like its wine/cigar friend. But they both have that smoky speakeasy vibe so I’ll totally take this one being 1/4 the price.

What a great scent! I have been looking for a tobacco forward cologne and this certainly fits the bill. Its a sweet, honeyed tobacco that I find very easy to wear and at a very reasonable price. I know a number of people will compare it to Tobacco Vanille but that is more complex and light. This is pretty linear if you ask me- tobacco/tonka, honeyed brandy and a touch of vanilla. It is more of a scent than a cologne if you ask me but I like it that way. I have plenty of expensive, complex colognes and I have been looking for something just like this!

Really don't understand how tobacco is not listed among the accords. Regardless, this is exactly what was I hoping this is how MM Jazz Club would smell. As someone below said, it's like what I would expect a speakeasy to smell like - the booziness from the red wine note feels proportionate and additive. However, I can also appreciate the reviews that pin this down as a 2-note honey and tobacco fragrance. In the end, I wanted an inexpensive tobacco fragrance so I don't burn through my Herod and this fits the bill. Fantastic fragrance for the price.

I just received my sample and it's great! I'm a lady and this smells very nice, and on my skin it's almost exactly like Kalemat by Arabian Oud, which is an amazing frag for about the same price (around $80). However, Kalemat is a bit sweeter with more honey, whereas I find this much spicier, and in the drydown I get quite a bit of the cherry cough syrupy vibe. The notes don't state any Oud, but with their combination I smell Oud, in a soft, inoffensive way. Great fragrance! Best for fall and winter, and nothing like Back to Black, IMO. Cheers!

This is going to be a classic and talked about alot i think. Top three winter frag for me instantly. Sweetness of the honey(has to be in there) and fruit notes and i also get the woodsy note quickly. Then the vanilla and tobacco creep in. Its soooo smooth on the nose. Never tried the Tom Ford Tobacco vanilla but i am not sure i need to. My brain cant handle something that can smell better than this. Hope this house goes strong. Awesome packaging and bottle too. Their other products are great too. The pomade has this kind of scent to it.

The closest thing Tobacco Vanille i have smelled. It takes about an hour for it to get there but once it settles down it is very close to TV. The honey in this reminds me of Back to Black more so in the opening, it is very full and smooth. The overall smell once it settles and looses its soapiness is a lighter TV with less projection. At the price this is going for it is a no brainer for lovers of tobacco scents, snap this one up wile you can because it could easily turn into a hype monster. 10/10

A TRUE Diamond in the rough! Not a big name but wow, what a big discovery!!! One of the most powerful frags in my collection. Very noticeable tobacco and one of the most consistent dry downs in my arsenal. If you love Amen, TF Tobacco Vanille and the upper end Tobacco frags then this is a hidden gem for you. Trust me, not many will know what you are wearing. Definitely not a typical scent. Good projection and longevity. Hard to find but worth the search no doubt!

If you mixed PDM Herod with Serge Lutens Chergui, you’d come out with 18.21 Sweet Tobacco! It’s a tad powdery in the opening with a heavy dose of honey but it starts to settle down to a honeyed cherry tobacco with a smidge of powder. This is fall/winter in a bottle and should be in every tobacco lover’s rotation. For the price and what this does, you can’t beat it. I believe this is a Parfum concentration so it does last and project like it should. Cheers!!

Sweet Tobacco is a wonderful, modestly priced vanilla-tobacco scent. For me, projection and longevity were both very solid. While it will likely be compared to other tobacco scents like Herod or Naxos, Sweet Tobacco is different enough to justify purchasing, even if you own the others. The projection is strong and sweet (while still being masculine with the tobacco) and very pleasant. Overall, it was quite impressive to me, especially at its price.

Initial spray it smells like Tobacco Vanille but quickly goes in its own direction, you’ll be able to tell the difference side by side. Tobacco Vanille is dry sweet tobacco with chocolate and spices which reminds me of Christmas or the holiday season in general. On the other hand (literally) 18.21 is sweet tobacco, honey, leather, and saffron. This maybe a bit sacrilegious but 18.21 imo is a more versatile scent than Tobacco Vanille.

Very masculine. Amazing scent, very masculine. My wife loves it on me but for herself she prefers Tobacco Vanille which is more feminine. This reminds me of a distinguished gentlemen smoking a pipe and sipping a fine scotch. I like only wearing manly fragrances and this fits the bill perfectly. This would smell strange on my wife its just too manly to me and she agrees. I love TV on her and she loves 18:21 on me.

Forget price point this is one of the best honey tobacco fragrances period.It is very unique and yet familiar at the same time.This has elements of brightness and airiness from Naxos the body of Pure Havane the smoky fruitness of Red Tobacco and the smoothness of all high quality niche scents.With this I'd say you can skip the others unless your like me and just love all different facets of Tobacco fragrances

Booze, sweet tobacco, honey and vanilla. If it wasn't a perfume I would drink it. Checks all the warm and fuzzy boxes. Niche vibe at a designer price. Bottle is nice and feels like whiskey/ old fashion heavy glass. Strong performance. Opening Kilian Back to Black, drydown same vibe as TFTV. Not as good as the Kilian or TFTV but a cheaper option. If you like the notes I've listed it's worth sampling.

Beastmode honey and tobacco, the vintage was very masculine. They even had the balls to put 'For Men' on the bottle back in 2016. Apparently, it's now unisex for all 18 genders. The almighty dollar and marketing at its finest. I respect fragrance houses and perfumers with the guts to produce a fragrance for a man or a woman. Unisex marketed scents is more for profit that an art. Sorry Karen.
