I agree with the previous reviewer about the iciness of this: but, contrarily, that's a quality I love. This scent screams "I'm extremely glamorous, stay away from me." Very classic aldehydic floral, with a dark, icy edge: the petitgrain isn't too strong or masculine, it works more subtly, neutralising the powderiness and femininity somewhat. Iris and lily of the valley come through most clearly. Absolutely for a grown up lover of vintages, and someone who isn't intimidated by powder, indole, huge projection. I adore it.

Beautiful bottle. Lovely name. Great story. Delicately crafted scent. That said, the scent profile is very much not me. A bit too soapy. And it's got that vintage aldehyde vibe that makes you smell like an unattainable wealthy woman in a beautiful coat. Cinematic, for sure, but I only wear scents that draw people (including/especially myself) toward me, not ones that ice people out.

"Elegant older woman in an expensive coat" as a few others have described it is pretty much my aesthetic so no surprise I liked this. It does smell old fashioned but I like that.

"Genevieve" is interesting. It starts strongly in the character of a 1980s men's fragrance, then slowly changes into a 1970s feminine scent. It's worth trying.

An elegant scent evoking someone fashionable and flamboyant, perhaps a movie star. However, it ́s not meant for me.

Slight vintage animalic in a contemporary frame. Powdery pissy, the animalic sharp vintage that captures the 80s scene. Lime leathery ylang mix underneath aldehydes oranges musk and clean vetiver. It's very 80s but in 2018 way. It goes powdery all the way and right after seconds of applying and I believe it's the lily of the valley effect. Amusing to the max and very addictive. Its delicate and yet bossy and it does fit the idea behind its creation. It could work unisex. Impressive.
