Vanilla Dry

Okay so if you're looking for a scent that has the coconut, monoi, suntan vibe, but turned on its head for fall and winter, this is it!!! I am beachy coconut sunscreen scent lover and fall and winter makes me sad because I can't wear my favorite scent profile. Until now!!! The woodiness in this scent really pulls it into the colder months. I have over 1500 bottles, but this is absolutely in my top 10. My collection will never not have this bottle!

Definitely giving off beach babe vibes! But this is not *just* another monoi suntan lotion scent, this is way better. The coconut doesn’t overpower the other notes, it is powdery and floral. Coconut and vanilla are creamy and edible, sweet and buttery almost like white chocolate. The florals are giving some feminine powdery vibes, while sandalwood and musk brings everything together elevating it to something better than a sun tan lotion. This is perfect for drinks on the beach in the summertime. It’s not cloying and quite airy for such a sweet scent. This is so well blended. If you already have a monoi/coconut type summer scent you might not need this. If you’re looking for this kind of scent, Vanilla Dry is a safe blind buy, as this is definitely one of the better fragrances in this category.

A very nice perfume. Bold, simple and linear with vanilla, monoi and ylang ylang. Perfect for spring, too bold for summer to my opinion; and I can wear it during fall and winter (when I need to think about hot days). For gourmand lover, more feminine but why not on a man. The sillage and the longevity are excellent. 7/10 If you like this perfume, the summer version is "Ylang in Gold" of M. Micallef for me. Same vibe!

Very niche fragrance. Got a sample from Jovoy from 5, maybe 6 years ago that I found knocking about a trinket box recently. I gave it a spray for the fun of it and didn’t expect much, but what I discovered I loved. Beautiful, elegant, soft, creamy coconut-vanilla + white florals. It’s such a delicate scent, but it’s lovely. I feel comforted by this. I am not a coconut or white floral fan, typically, but everything in this is kind of muted and blended together nicely. You don’t wear this to stand out or have people running after you with compliments, but rather to make yourself feel pampered and fresh. I really like it. A scent I’d love to wear to bed.
