24 Ice Gold

I just unboxed this (brand new today), and low and behold, from the sprayer I could smell a ripe apple! Well I sprayed it and definetly could smell the apple note that burns off in a minute or 2 and goes right into the Light Blue for women aroma (not that I disapprove, I love and own that fragrance). Although I love how it smells, I wished the apple note would have continued throughout the life of the fragrance to really set itself apart from LB. It comes in a nice frosted bottle with a gold cap as shown. I can't speak to performance because I just opened it and sprayed the back of my right hand, however, as of now it is jumping off my skin. I will hopefully remember to update my opinion regarding performance. So far it isn't getting points for originality, but I will keep an open minded on my LB 2.0 bottle. I just realized the similar appearance between this bottle and my bottle of LB (frosted, not clear bottles). I do like the contrast with the color of juice against the frosted bottle. Anyway, happy Sniffing folks! UPDATE: 4/28/17 This fragrance has great staying power to be a fraichie. I spritzed this at 9AM, it is now 5:49PM and it is still going. I have received a lot of compliments today on this as it projects nicely with nice sillage. I have been told that the fragrance lingers. I keep getting frequent whiffs of my scent cloud, and I like it! This is better than I thought it was. Just goes to show a squirt on the arm or wrists doesn't work all the time. Sometime you have to spritz your shirt, arms and neck. LOL. I will start spraying Light Blue (W), Versace Eau Fraiche and I love love to keep from using this up. Recommended.

#916 in my "Tour de Fragrance" It's unfortunate that the ScentStory 24 line is more and more difficult to find. But that makes sense as the show "24" ended it's run in 2014. Despite global syndication it's not on the air here, which is too bad as I probably missed the majority of the 204 episodes. Seems wild it would launch an entire line of gimmick men's scents, even wilder that they are all so good. And this scent, impossible to find now, is no exception. Though this gets compared to D&G Light Blue the patchouli in this scent actually makes it an improvement over Light Blue for me. I gave the Light Blue away. This is a keeper. Fruity, fresh, but not all sharp citrus. In that regard it resembles Versace Man Eau Fraiche which I desperately wanted Versace to release as an EDP until I found Armaf "Aura Fresh." If you've had this and wish you could find it again I would recommend the Armaf "Aura Fresh" as a substitute. But if you do luck across a bottle of this (even eBay scalpers don't have it anymore) it's car pool, elevator and small office safe, Summer day wear I think, but attractive enough for date wear.

24 Ice Gold is my go-to for hot Dallas, Texas summer days... excellent citrus fragrance which seems to stick around for hours! I get lemon citrus with this and it's definitely unisex. As a guy, I can comfortably wear this in the heat and know that I'm smelling good, definitely suitable for outdoor summer dates (day/or night). As other reviews have mentioned, this is very similar to D&G Light Blue for women (which I also happen to own). I gave the D&G away because they are so similar (and ice gold is a little more masculine and longer lasting on me). It's a compliment getter for sure and one to definitely look into if you like the 24 line.

A definition of fresh and clean. Juicy citrus opening of orange peel, apple and cooling bergamot, complimented by sweet jasmine and clean musk. The opening is simply sublime, very realistic and natural smelling, airy and cooling. Also on skin it is sweeter, while on clothes it smells very green and on clothes the scent stays for days. The scent is absolutely unisex and have similarities to Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana and Hugo Iced by Hugo Boss. I love it, it is my favorite from the house next to 24 Elixir Neroli. Just received the sample. Wow this is an amazing scent. Its a whole new line of 24 by scentstory. Floral sweet aromatic type of Fragrance. Not heavy on floral type but the bergamote and jasmine and apple is just right.it has rose but not strong. This can be on hermes un jardin line. Got that vibe of garden smell then walking on fruit stand. Very elegant scent. Perfect on spring. Btw their is more than 3 notes in this Fragrance. Longevity is great.
