Flâneur

Very striking mix. As I smell on paper it fluctuates between being able to strike out notes and molding as one, credits to Mark Buxton who’s Emotional Drop hits even harder on the vetiver. A contrast between green and warmth. To my nose I’m familiar with the green sharpness of vetiver and I assume absinthe and bergamot adding to this as well. It’s got this warmth and slight modern powder from the base . Artists notes say it feels melancholic, I would agree; like the green of spring but faint powder from old perfume decaying. After 30 minutes here it’s become even more agreeable, forming together into an almost spa like aroma. Maybe this is The Matcha’s depressed cousin, mean to you at first then loves you. I feel this would change a lot based on weather and skin. Edit: testing on skin the day after, orris and cashmere qualities shining through more while still holding a hard to describe green edge probably the absinthe qualities, but much more smooth than on paper. Lovely, unique but also strangely familiar.

Flaneur is adapted (read perfected and more fem) version of Genetic bliss from the same house. It has beautiful floral opening, linden blossom is extremely prominent. The woodiness kicks in in 20 minutes or so and floral component is slowly softening up and at 2h mark it is more reminiscent of genetic bliss than anything else there. Beautiful composition and excellent performer. If you think Genetic bliss is too linear, definitely go fo this. Interesting development and dry down is so gorgeous.

I am sorry but this perfumes score represents the idiotism here in Fragrantica. With all my honesty i can say that this perfume has very good longevity, projection and sillage for what it is. Its materials and blend quality is great and it has very mild resemblance to Creed Silver Mountain Water and Casamorati Mefisto. So why this one has this low score, meanwhile other shitty clones have much better scores are beyond me. My score: 8/10

So unique, balanced and surprising. A whole personality of its own and perfectly so. It is fresh, green and spring like in the opening and on, my skin, it develops into a beautifully warm, woody and ever so slightly peppery scent yet remains elegant and more on the feminine side with a hint of crisp sweetness. It has great performance and a comforting feel. So happy I found this.

I love the scent of linden flowers and was looking for a perfume with this particular scent note. It is a realistic linden scent, slightly less sweet. This is truly a unique and quirky scent, I love it. It is complex and the scent of linden lingers on the skin for a long time. The scent develops throughout the day in an exciting way.

Reminds me of the scent of Sunflowers on a hot summers day...

This smells like the perfume our witch doctor wears every day, especially when she has to go out and interact with people. Hee hee hee... Wormwood, plenty of iris, yellow medicinal pollen-y florals, something aquatic and citrus feel. Yes. I liked this piece. It’s herbal, fresh, powdery, and lively. Slightly sweet-leaning, but it doesn’t disrupt the overall structure. And yes, I’m notoriously picky about sweetness, I usually don’t like it, but here it’s not an issue. I’ve always loved absinthe, "artemisia absinthium" common wormwood. Almost all of my witchy scents include it. Here it’s absolutely amazing. Even though I get a faint almondy impression, the composition stays far from nutty-fluffy for me. It leans greener and more herbal instead. beautifully blended - fresh and citrusy opening, on a warm flowery bed, quietly settles on the skin with a hug of a cashmere blanket in the middle of a forest... unisex but masculine leaning for me, the whiff of absinth (or maybe it is something else) gives it a masculine 'backbone' 27 87 is a hit and miss for me, generally I prefer more feminine scents as opposed to more unisex ones, also among 27 87 perfumes, but nearly all impressed me with their uniqueness

Linden blossom, cashmere wood, and just a touch of anise. Fresh floral, perfectly unisex.

The Bee Pollen Ambush 🌼🍯 Another intriguing target analyzed by noteninja. Flâneur genuinely makes you feel like you are submerged in a giant basket of linden and ultra-sweet florals. The almond note plays a major role here, amplifying the sweetness and giving the blend a distinct, realistic bee pollen vibe. It’s beautifully bright, but it packs a heavy sugary punch. Performance & Versatility: Its stamina is mediocre in the heat, but the scent profile feels completely out of place in the dead of winter. It’s great to sample and enjoy for a brief moment, but wearing this intense, sweet floral aura for a full 12-hour shift is just too much. A fascinating artistic creation, but perhaps best enjoyed in moderation.

I think it’s a twist on silver mountain water by creed Although there was a little bit of annoying nuances I mean the floral aspect of it but the resemblance to creed’s masterpiece is obvious Performance was very good It projects beautifully As much as I appreciate the mix but to me I don’t need it since I have a vintage bottle of silver mountain water So this one is not needed in my arsenal But enough to try and compare

More powdery and less fruity Byredo Mojave Ghost. Different at first, but the drydown is similar in my opinion

Very artificial scent, I don't understand what it was supposed to be. Something imitating iceberg lettuce made of plastic and paper. Or is it a potato? Neutral/indistinct freshie, but not very pleasant and even creepy.

This leans more male scent profile to me. Wouldn’t personally wear this as a woman.

Oh, she's an odd bird this Miss Flaneur. Distinctly Scandinavian floral with a punchy herbal aspect. To me she is a beautifully bizarre spring sandalwood (even though no sandalwood is listed). It's like walking through a patch of bluebells and crushing them underfoot then using the resulting mush in a love spell that backfires. For no reason I can possibly explain, wearing this fragrance always makes me think of a monkey riding a bicycle. Bitter and sweet simultaneously, with a mineral and metallic undertone that could be blood or stone. The absinthe/artemisia note reads as dill to my nose, which is I think what people mean when they refer to certain sandalwoods as "pickly". Flaneur is a cold spring day in a northern clime experiencing an uncharacteristically sunny afternoon. I can see why it wouldn't be for everyone, most people seem to think this way about me too, baffling creatures that you are. I personally love it for its weird juxtaposition of urban and pastoral, of dark and light, of flowers and blood. If anyone can interpret my monkey on a bicycle image please dm me, for I fear my therapist would fire me if I admit such things to her.

This is a stunning citrus at first scent and then you get that absinthe with a vetiver and ambergris dry down. It is surprisingly pleasant, a truly summer/spring scent that is bright.
