Hamaca

This is such a beautiful, gorgeous, well designed and balanced perfume. Everything feels luxurious and modern yet at the same time you feel the coziness and the embrace of how the fragrance surrounds you. This is one of those perfumes that has many facets; it is avant-garde but at the same time, comforting. In the warmer months is fun, adventurous, flirty, joyful and witty. In the colder months is elegant, sophisticated, subtle; like a comforting hug from a fancy and expensive lifestyle. The inviting smell of the creamy coconut with the elegance and well rounded base of sandalwood and tonka bean is what gives this masterpiece a sophisticated feel, the sea water note is like a splash of water that does not over-power the perfume, think of, when you first go into the ocean and a wave hits your body, like that sudden splash and it is briefly gone, like that. Worth mentioning is the modern and minimalistic bottle design, an invitation, a dare to be different, smell different from everybody else, leave your mark in an endearing way. Love it!

This feels like proper niche take on vanilla to me. It's not a weird or extremely unusual scent, but it feels luxurious and a bit different. In a way it reminds me a bit of a toned down vanilla-version of Bois Doré - it has a bit of that same woody metallic twist to it (maybe the tonka adds to that impression too) . The coconut is very subtle and dry. Hamaca is not very sweet and the salty notes are gorgeous. But I guess I interpret this mostly as a woody vanilla. Perfectly unisex I love this scent, it is simply gorgeous. I do however wish it performed a bit better. I haven't tried it in warmer weather, so maybe it performs better in summer/spring. It is quite cozy now at late fall in Norway though, it never really feels wrong to wear Hamaca!

This fragrance is creamy, sweet, soft. I regret selling my bottle. To me, it opens with a strong scent of salty water/sea, which I found a bit offputting, and is probably why I sold my bottle. But after a while it's this sweet and soft coconut vanilla scent that is just a gorgeous, warm and soft scent. Not too sweet or nauseating, just discretely warm and sweet. I will buy this again, though I do feel it's a bit overpriced. Hoping to find it at a discounted price, new or second hand. I find it a perfect fragrance for spring and summertime, all hours of the day, office, leasure or social gatherings.

A wonderfully creamy and smooth marine vanilla with hints of fresh coconut. Has a marine and musky opening that doesn’t read so much like beach to me but maybe pool? Not in the sense of “oh this smells like chlorine but it feels way more laid back than a beach scent. This feels like the sweet and salty musky breeze that passes by you as you lounge in the warm sun in your backyard pool. As the scent develops you get a sweet and smooth vanilla and hints of a fresh coconut pulp smell. The dry down maintains a creaminess with a hint of powdery woodiness and remnants of that sweet vanilla.

Almost perfection of a marine fragrance! Obvious marine notes are what seems to be a mixture of Calone / Helional / Scentenal, with synthetic base of linear, creamy sandalwood and vanilla. The sandalwood is exactly the same type you will find in "Kanon - Norwegian Wood". The coconut is very subtle, and I am able to detect but it's more of a coconut-aldehyde than sweet natural coconut. To give more idea based on similar scents, Hamaca is somewhat a light airy blend of Heeley's Coccobello and Sel Marin or Comptoir sud Pacifique's Coco Extreme and Aqua Motu.

Salty, airy vanilla, a creamy texture coming from coconut, and sandalwood. Hmmm, I’m in love. The coconut is tuned exactly the way I want it, bold, creamy and milky, almost like clotted cream. I already adore salty vanillas, but this feels so good it could be the final word for me. The marine setting is perfect too, and there is absolutely no melony vibe. There’s no need to write more. I love this, it makes me feel festive, like if I were at the beach. You can wear it day or night. With the pH of my skin and the average 30c degrees we have in my city, this is mouthwatering. I’ve already gone through 3 2ml samples and I’m ready to order a full bottle, all I’m waiting for is having the price it costs which is high. I have an 87ml bottle of Genetic Bliss and I can’t deny the quality of their products is excellent. On my wish list!

I tried it first in early spring, dry air and pretty cold temperatures. Didn’t like it at all, it was sharp and had no creaminess or sweetness. Now in the summertime it is the total opposite, so creamy, sweet and fresh at the same time and I absolutely love it! Perfect for summertime but only for summertime in my opinion.

A super lovely summer scent when it's sunny and nice weather. Soft and warm and at the same time light and not sweet. A lovely scent with coconut and vanilla that really dominates the scent. I would have loved to have a whole bottle of this scent.

The saltiness in the opening is something unique, u have to give it a chance and not judge just the 'cover' ! But my gosh, the dry down is sooo magical! I need a FB especially when summer is around the corner...

This is the most beautiful coconut scent I ever tried. Summery, soft, fresh but without lemony shit in it. Love love love!

Testing this one today. It opens very fresh and sharp... right after turnes into an aquatic coconut to settle in a sweet woody vanilla later. It goes through all the stages very quick. Tonka stays until the end, i wish its coconut note had the same power. I'm not a fan of aquatic, but here it is tamed and wearable, well blended. I don't mind wearing it on a Caribbean vacation, think the name suits perfect!! Can't compare it to Vanilla vibes JHAG! Hamaca is closer to the skin, soft, sweet and warm, where Vanilla vibes is strong, over-the-top aquatic, less sweetness and no warmth at all..

Marine coconut. I have found out that I cannot wear marines, I love them in theory, but never wear. I sold my bottle. If you like coconut scents (like creamy, food-grade coconut) and marine scent, go for it. It becomes a coconut-vanilla bomb after 2 hours. For someone who likes citruses, this is a bit too sweet. I prefer Heeley Cocobello, which is a smoother milky coconut.

It’s good. Nothing groundbreaking but a nice fragrance if you’re into this scent profile. Really similar ro jhag vanilla vibes but also catching similarities with molecule 01 if you layer that with vanilla fragrance or body lotion (&if your skin makes frags sweet like mine does). It’s better on chillier days imho but again cause my skin turns perfumes into ambery scents:)

I LOVE this scent, it really smells like summer. Beachy, sweet and creamy. I'm so sad it lasts a really short time on me (around 3 hours) and it doesn't project at all. I've asked people around me and no one can smell me. I have to put my wrist to my nose to smell something. It's really not worth the price. I would buy a full bottle in a heartbeat if it lasted longer.

Coconut Play Doh plasticine. It’s good

This smelt really good on a test strip. After spraying it on skin however, I got a weird clay smell from it. I have tried other coconut fragrances in the past like Creed Virgin Island Water with no weird clay smell on skin. The coconut smell is also very generic and smells like any other coconut scented shampoo or lotion, I personally would have preferred a more muted coconut smell or something that includes some of the other facets of coconut such as its flesh or husks. I still think it’s a nice scent but personally not for me. Definitely try a sample on skin first.

The opening is sharp, marine, and woody. Vanilla and coconut are barely noticeable during the first few minutes. 30 minutes later, a subtle sweetness starts to develop, blending smoothly with the salty accord, which remains the prominent in this fragrance. The sweetness isn't gourmand or edible, it's more sunscreen like. This fragrance sits very close to the skin. The projection is minimal, and I can barely smell it unless I bring my wrist right up to my nose.

Impossible to imagine paying full price for this. It's pleasant, warm with vanilla and sandalwood, a lick of coconut, but no better than a mid-range shower gel or hair oil. Strange, for a brand that claims to stay clear of conventional perfume norms. It doesn't get more conventional than this. And at the going rate of around $250 for an 87ml bottle, I say to you: ha! Seriously, ha ha, good one.

I wanted to love this given the notes, and as much the smell is good, the longevity is very disappointing. It opens as a Piña colada and once it is in the base notes, its a very very light creamy coconut (almost imperceptible). For the price, there must be other options that last longer and have similar body.

Nothing special. The scent starts with the smell of generic coconut hand cream with notes of minerals and see. After three minutes, the smell of seaweed from Megamare appears, and after another couple of minutes, the scent settles with a hint of boring vanilla and a subtle note of sea water.

Not getting much aside from vanilla - if you like vanilla, may be you will like this. Not my thing, sadly - it's just ok.

For the first five minutes, I really liked this. Salty sandalwood, delicious coconut in the background. But then the vanilla hit and it hit hard. On my skin, it’s absolutely overpowering, shoving the sandalwood and salt aside. Some hints of tonka beans, a whiff of coconut. Smells like heavily scented sunscreen on warm skin. The ocean is close by. You know you’ll get a sun burn because you forgot to reapply the sunscreen but it doesn’t really matter. The salt water dried out your hair but it still smells of your drugstore coconut hair mist.

This is a no for me. While it shares similarities with Vanilla Vibes by Juliette has a gun, Vanilla Vibes is WAY better. This marine note is full on nauseating - it's like briny, rotting seaweed ocean marine. It was an absolute scrubber for me. It's also a good example of never buying things in-store. This smelled incredible because of all the other smells wafting around in-store - I had Vanilla Vibes on the other hand, which is probably why it smelled good. When I got home and tested it (luckily I bought a tester) it was awful.

I'm not picky when it comes to perfumes but this one, yuck. I can't stand it. Smells very synthetic, childish like coconut with lots of salt.. Also smells like alchohol. Gives me serious headaches and almost made me puke.

This scent is lovely! On me it's quite spicy and woodsy (the tonka bean is very prominent), but I also loved the first impression which is marine and ocean-like. I can pick up Calone-like notes in it, which I *love*. The coconut and sandalwood is non-existent on me. Will have to try and get my hands on a proper bottle, I got "only" 7 ml through a monthly perfume subscription service.. ;) This scent is, to me, not a summery scent at all. It reminds me of the much sought after (and discontinued) Nature Millenaire from Yves Rocher, so in my mind this scent is perfect for autumn when the colours are changing and the air is crisp and clear. To wear it in summer would be too heavy, at least on me. This scent will be perfect with a colourful scarf, golden jewellery and a bright lipstick. :)

I don’t agree that this one smells like vanilla vibes. I can only imagine that the people who voted that voted on the basis of the first 5min. Sure, this starts salty and you already get the vanilla backbone. But this is much much much woodier than vanilla vibes. I was actually getting a bit of sunny side up and I see a few people voted that one too. I find this one much more wearable, the sandalwood is perfectly balanced with the other notes (it was too much just sandalwood in my skin in sunny side up). I really really like this! It’s on my list for a full bottle.

Hamaca is a true beachy fragrance and, like most of them, it brings to mind sunscreen and tanned skin. I like its salty air marine accord in the opening but it is present just for a second; later on it slightly towns down the sweetness of coconut and vanilla. The most dominant is the base with tonka and vanilla plus something woody. It is warm, sweet and just what you’d expect.

Salty sunny and no coconut. This fragrance describes the salty beaches, quite salty with sunny kisses, seashells maybe, and no coconut detected. It does go a tiny bit to sweet vanilla later on but remains salty base and quite sea salty base. I had high hopes for this, i thought it's a coconut base fragrance but it turned to be salty and aquatic which is not my intentions.

I got a decant of this in my fragrance subscription. I really like it! Truly a summery, yummy coconut fragrance with some salty notes. Smells like wearing sun lotion at the beach. However, this fragrance truly disappears from my skin within like 30 minutes of application. Such a same. Would have been a nice summer fragrance otherwise.

while this smells good, it just smells like sweet coconut. like a basic coconut candle you'd get at tj maxx. not worth the purchase.
