Figs in White Chocolate

This is another great fragrance from 4160. The ability to use green tea, peach and orris to create a scent reminiscent of fig is outstanding. This is refreshing and light, slightly buttery from the orris. You can over time pick out a bit of the soft peach skin and orris. This is not a milky, green and in-your-face fig but rather notes that come together to build the impression of soft, ripe figs. This is more if a tea, peach, orris and woody fragrance, according to info on the brand website. Fig and white chocolate are impressions but not notes.I really enjoy this one!

I received this as a sample - a disclaimer here that I don’t love fig as a note. However, this is more excellent perfumery from 4160. I get mostly green tea and peach here - it’s fresh, green, fruity and moreish. It’s not my typical scent profile and I wouldn’t have jumped at a fig fragrance but it is bloody lovely - ideal for the sunny months.

Bought this because I love fig notes. Even though it's in the name, the fig here gets a bit lost behind a peaches-and-cream note. This is a completely pleasant fragrance, albeit somewhat forgettable and unremarkable. I found this to be very unisex, but I can see how others would feel this leans a bit more feminine given it has a softer gourmand quality. The fig and peach feel ripe and plush. It's not a green fig leaf version of fig, but more of a fruit-forward version. Reminds me of a soft pillow, and that's probably where I'll spray the remainder of my bottle. I suspect this will make a comfy bedtime scent.
