I got a sample in this month’s Olfactif subscription. They did a great job with the description: “Retro in style, this summer citrus is both nostalgic yet fresh. Inspired by the 1970s song by Lindisfarne, McCartney updated it by about a half century, giving us a feel-good fragrance that captures the days when a date was just two people showing up to the same place at the same time- no texts, no swiping right, no GPS to get you there. Meet me on the Corner, is as carefree as it is airy, with tart citrus rinds of lemon and mandora (a hybrid of sweet orange & mandarin) play with the green floralcy of magnolia, its leaf and flower. Youthful and unisex with masculinity shining through in the drydown (wait for it); this timeless chypre- moss, patchouli and styrax blend is matured in bergamot, and surrounded by gentle musks. Think of this 1970-meets-2020 concept as a new Mini Cooper- all the fun of driving the original... now with working brakes and windshield wipers.” More like the backseat of a Mini Cooper!!!! Smells very sexy ...IMHO ;) Edit: I love this, but I understand it’s not for everybody and I certainly don’t wear it all the time. But I love how it lingers on my clothes and the longevity. 4160 Tuesdays Meet Me on the Corner is described as the product of mandora (a blend of sweet orange and mandarin), magnolia flower, and magnolia leaf. It’s fresh and citric but also green and floral, a lovely exploration of the sweet magnolia mixed with sweet orange, but not too sweet. I feels delicately assembled, carefully put together, with a lot of nuance, not too similar to any other fragrance in my recollection. And it feels balanced between the floral and citrus, green and sweet, but is really wholly fresh and evocative of an outdoor fruit tree aside a field of flowers. It performs nicely, and feels like a good blend with a rich quality to it, not that it’s oily, per se, but it has the feeling of containing a good concentration of perfume oil. Its performance is comparable to some of the other robust freshies in the house (i.e. Freeway). It’s priced slightly lower than most 4160 Tuesdays offerings, at $110 for 50ml. This is more or less instantly a bottle what I want to have. It’s a freshie that won me over on first wearing, mimicking my experience with the mostly-freshies Freeway and Red Queen. In short, I love it, particularly as a warm weather option that feels like something wholly new from this house. 8 out of 10

I get a touch of coffee grounds from this! It’s airy, unusual, romantic, slightly feminine. Intensely citrusy while not feeling anything like your average citrus. The musk, moss and patchouli are very light. I’m genuinely very surprised and pleased by this UPDATE: I put this on my skin and wow, that creamy green magnolia note is beautiful. I’m still slightly stuffed up from having covid so may not be the best judge of such things, but I feel like the silage is fairly weak, unfortunately.

4160 Tuesdays Was definitely my number 0ne indie house of lädt year. I've been familiar with some Sarah's perfumes in the past but lately I crave her fragrances more than ever before. Each of the them is fun, surprising and very well done. She has very recognizable style that I happen to love. Charishing my sample of meet me on the corner I can easily say that it has most exciting citrusy opening and very dated drydown. It's a classic with a modern spin. Full bottle dream of mine

This is a great retro style summer scent with oranges, lemon, freedom and nostalgia. It's airy and feel good and brings to mind a more care free time before bills, work and mortgages took away the playfulness.
