Temptation

a pleasant scent. nothing extraordinary, nothing mediocre either. a simple amber vanilla, tinged with wood.. smells exactly like its list of notes. dries down into a lovely sweet musk. it sits very close to the skin; which it's meant to. it's soft and quiet. perfect for intimate moments. i've been carrying around a 7.5ml vial of it in my handbag and enjoy applying it throughout the day.. often mixing it with other fragrances that have a stronger sillage.

The musk note is rather beautiful. It is also a solid performer in terms of both longevity and projection (not the discreet skin scent that one might have thought). If you are looking for a musk primer (which is also great on its own) this is it.

Temptation has grown on me after a few tries. It's light and delicate but long lasting. There are enough woods and musk to balance out the sweetness of the vanilla without changing its essential nature. It's a true--but not fully gourmand--vanilla. Temptation is an easy wear, gender fluid and appropriate to all settings because it is light and not overly sweet.

On me, it’s a very soft, straightforward vanilla-amber with a (cedar?) wood note in the background. 4160 scents have a way of lingering on my skin for 6+ hours when most other fragrances get eaten up, but this one is extremely intimate. A good one for cuddling.
