Warm Sands Blue Ocean

Got my sample of this today as I’m on the hunt for the perfect sunscreen perfume, with no fruits or citrus or bergamot etc, just sea, salt, sun tan lotion, coconut, and some vanilla! I like my sunscreen scent to be sweet but not overly, but I don’t find this scent synthetic as others mentioned nor do I get any department store vibes, it’s strong, silage is long lasting, and I think I’m in love. I wish there were more reviews, I know many think of beachy scents like this for warm weather only but I’ll wear something decadent and rich that’s leans more towards autumn vibes sometimes in a hot summer night, and wear a very coco tiare scent in the dead of freezing winter. My only question is if there’s a difference between this one and the one that was released in 2021, as that one is described as an oriental vanilla but mostly consists of the same notes listed here. I’m new to reviews but hoping I can find someone that might be able to tell me, I did reach out to the company and asked earlier today, so I’m hoping I’ll get a response. I’m pretty sure the sample I got was from the newer version, but I really love this, so many times I’ve seen people say how Tom ford soleil blanc and mm beach walk are the sunscreen scents. I’ve only tried beach walk once in Sephora and don’t have a great recollection of sunscreen, and I never got that vibe from the soleil blanc perfume or edt, I like that but I don’t find it to be anything close to sunscreen vibes. It has summer vibes, but it’s nothing like so many other sunscreen scents that are out there people haven’t sampled or tried. This one is a total winner in my book. It isn’t subtle, but it’s not offensive (imo). It leans on the sweet side, but I feel like it’s reminiscent of wearing an expensive vanilla perfume sprayed on after applying some Hawaiian tropic tanning oil or lotion, sun is out there, waves are only feet away from your fancy lounge chair at the exclusive hotel you’re staying at on some breathtaking white sands pure blue water beach, and you are awaiting your frozen drink to arrive, sunbathing and then finally entering the ocean, grabbing a snack and the scent continues to linger and everyone is looking at you, from the tiny swimsuit you are rocking with a semi sheer tee over it, big sunglasses, and it’s just heavenly!

Sitting at Waterman's Beach in the early summer morning, just after sunrise, as the morning light starts to take the edge off the chill. I spent most of my childhood summers there, and this smells exactly like that. Love it. It's very linear for the most part, until closer to the end when it warms and softens a little, like your skin after the last of the salt water has dried, but before you shower and head home.

well... this is a synthetic concept of warm sands and a blue ocean in a bottle. i brought my sample of it on my holiday during the summer, and applied it before going to the beach over a couple of days. it was wonderful. it amplified the actual act of being on a beach on a hot summers day.. sweating and basking.. head in the clouds. sunscreen is listed as a note, but i don't really pick up on it.. which i'm glad about. It's salty, solar, slightly musky, and subtly sweet. strictly a summer scent. longevity and sillage are moderate.

This is sitting on a beach covered in sunscreen, sweating, the musky/woody smell of sand, a kind of dirty, salty seawater smell. It’s obvious, but it’s effective. However, I don’t love wearing this kind of scent and I’m trying to be more selective in my perfume purchases. If you love Beach Walk, White Company Seychelles, Alien Goddess, etc - give it a shot.

Love the name, but the fantasy doesn't deliver on my skin. It smells just like a body scrub made of pure sand I bought from Bath & Body Works. I think it was called "On the Beach." This is not for me. It's just too sand focused.
