4711 Acqua Colonia Intense Floral Fields of Ireland

Floral Fields of Ireland, as the name implies, is utterly beautiful. Instantly recognisable, so much so that I found myself on here to help my tired addled brain identify exactly what it is. Gucci Bloom, it's uncanny! Beautifully mastered, the bottle is divine. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative to Gucci Bloom, Floral Fields of Ireland is in it for the win. It probably won't last as long, it is a Cologne afterall; but far better than the myriads of knock off fragrances available these days.

Smells like the height of spring, a very pretty floral bouquet. I am not getting the citrus. It would be good to celebrate May Day. Decent moderate projection in the first hour, but more intimate after that. Just sprayed it again in late April and it is very uplifting floral. The bottle always makes me think I will smell lavender, so don't let that fool you as it did me, but still enjoyable. I put that it reminds me of Apres l'Ondee which it still does, but I may like this one more than the other.

A gin cocktail made of fresh crisp flowers, layered with citruses and subtle fruit accords. It's also rather soapy. The dry down is powdery like soft fragranted makeup. At first you're confused, but the more the hours and days pass, you begin to be addicted. Something in this combination is giving intense endorphins and pleasure. The perfume is quite complex. I keep spraying it, non-stop. It's a very intoxicating scent. Hahaha

It's... Nostalgic. Something about this Perfume reminds me a lot with something from the past. So distant ... So far away.... 🥹 Something like longing? A forgotten prayer? Spring from the childhood? All flowers are blooming at the same time and the wind is blowing the scent to you....

Heavenly, that's all I can say, it smells absolutely heavenly, and for some reason it makes me feel very nostalgic, it smells just like the name says, a field of flowers or a flower bouquet, this is how you do a floral scent the RIGHT way

This is a nice fresh and sweet floral. The jasmine is well blended and not too strong so it does not stand out to much and I'd say the orange blossom and osmanthus are more notable but it could also be the mimosa as I have not smelt this flower in the nature. For some reason the fruity sweetness reminds me more of raspberries than orange, it is soft even gentle and soothing, creamy in a way. Very well blended florals as there is nothing harsh, syntetic or soapy to my nose, just a bit powdery. Perfect for spring but will work in summer as well. The name is fitting as the fragrance really reminds me of a flower field you just want to lay down in with wind brushing your cheeks and bumblebees zumming around. Too bad that the fresh opening does not last too long as it my favorite, the powdery and sweet dry-down is nice as well. In general lasts about 2-3h on me.

Yellow flowers, dry pollen powder and propolis. Floral bittersweetness. A spoonful of royal bee jelly, with a drop of apricot flowers’ honey. Classic, powdery, in a jasmine retro style, but not smelling too dated. Resolutely golden. Makes me think of a a yellow checkered rockabilly summer dress. Energetic and sunny. Bright. Not particularly natural. It’s more a boudoir and dressing table scent.

I love this. It gives me nostalgic roaming flower fields from when i was a kid living on my grandma's farm. It doesn't last very long on my skin about a hour/hour an a half. But this spray I use mostly as a self soothing pillow spray now, it brings me back to a happy safe place in my past, and it seems to help with my anxiety and panic attacks. :-)

This is a warm, long lasting and a bit green white floral. Very pleasant. This new line is really good. Nice scents with good sillage and longevity. It reminded me of the Daisy Sunshine line from Marc Jacobs, but Floral Fields is better. Thumbs up! Final note: 7/10

Very floral, but a pretty smell. It reminds me of spring when all the trees are blooming. As the smell sets, the jasmine becomes more noticeable. It can get too strong and overwhelming though as it is a more complex smell.

I like this, pleasant British wildflowers, but it reminds me more of expensive handwash than perfume. I don't get mimosa particularly. Not exciting enough for a full bottle.

I didn't expect the "floral fields of *Ireland*" to have that much jasmine in it. Or orange blossoms. I would have expected more green and herbal notes, and maybe some lavender or rose? But nope, this is very reminiscent of a much warmer climate. This scent is overly sweet, cloying and artificial to my nose -- and that last one's particularly disappointing because 4711 is usually pretty good at avoiding that particular pitfall. I think it's the orange blossom that does this one in; it's a note I'm very picky about. It's also a note that tends to last forever on me. So, yeah! Definitely not the one for me.

I bought this blind, mainly based on some high feedbacks I saw, what a mistake!! I'd be happy to swap if you are in NL and have 4711 Scandinavia. The combination of notes here while is intense, is floral but so unremarkably common, indistinct, boring, and remind me of grandma's floral perfume from early 80s (last century!). Too much sandalwood and jasmine I believe. I don't dislike jasmine, in fact I love the real flower but interpretation into perfumes is often inaccurate, too light or too heavy, I do like 4711 Jasmine Eau de Cologne, which is on the lighter side, and it's really fresh and beautiful when the jasmine is mixed with the orange blossom water which is what original 4711 is about. Buy that, don't buy this and the better one is 3 times cheaper even, you can practically drench yourself with it and not make a dent in your pocket. This one is too heavy, woody, sandalwood, yuck!

This is a gorgeous soft, citrusy floral and yes, it does smell like a Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume but I don't mind because for the price and the beautiful bottle, this is good. Longevity is about 3 hours on me but you can get a big 170ml without breaking the bank so that is always a plus for me.

SERIOUSLY beautiful. Smells like a vase of flowers straight out the florist fridge. Definitely evokes scent memories. It doesn't last very well on me, but they sell it in a large bottle. All good. The only irish thing I like better is Cillian Murphy.

yes i like the scent, it last almost 3 hours on my skin, worthy to buy
