4711 Acqua Colonia Lychee & White Mint

WOW this is crisp, clean and sharp! Love the minty opening and the dry down is more sweet and Litchi takes over. I love extremely fresh minty and lemon-y/citrus scents that are still quite feminine(not so much aquatic or fresh woody smells), so this one is def something I absolutely love. There is not a lot of depth to it, it's not subtle, and it doesn't change much into anything else plus the scent is gone after 3 hours on me. But it's cheap and this smell makes me so happy, and it's an instant energetic mood booster, like some good essential oils can. I can see how some ppl review it here as the smell of just having had a shower or toothpaste even, but it's a too sweet to be a toothpaste smell imo. This uncomplicated fresh burst of energy would be great during a hot summer day.

I love lychee, and Nathalie Gracia-Cetto blew me away with Moustache EdP, so I had to have this release. While I don’t get any mint, I detect notes not listed here on Fragrantica. I smell faint whiffs of white florals, rhubarb, and sweet vetiver, all of which really round-out the composition and give it legs to stand on. It’s beautifully blended, and totally unisex. Credit must go to the perfumer for making a 4711 product that lasts longer than 10 minutes. At four hours it’s still going strong, and at $35/170ml, reapplication is guilt-free. If this is any indication as to the quality of the other Acqua Colonia releases, I’ll be buying more.

I love the way 4711 can renew itself again and again. It is one of the brands I always follow and always try whatever they produce. Lychee and mint...mmm... two notes I love. It is beautifully blended, starts sweet and cheerful, ends fresh and a bit maskuline. Sillage is very reduced, but hey, this is an EdC! It lasts long hours on the skin, but mostly in its second, more maskuline phase. Bottle and box are stunning, as always. Maybe not my favourite from the line, but totally worth a try. Update: it did become one of my favorites from the line, instant pick me up, so fresh, joyful and uplifting. I will probably buy a big bottle next. Love!

I'm usually skeptical towards fruit fragrances as they are mostly soooo sweeet, and I do not like to smell like I just spilled a box of juice on myself. But this one is different. Or not how you would expect. Lychee can be very sweet too, but I hoped that mint can take a lead here. I smelled it once and bought it right away. I do feel way more notes here then represented, and to me it's a perfect balance between energy and calmness. It's pure and bright, it's a bit green and a bit ozonic, my ride or die. If you are more on a side of naturalistic fragrances - try this! :)

It smells exactly like lychee and mint (mint is more prominent), smells natural, which is important for me. On my skin vanishes after few minutes and on clothes it is little better. It is more feminine but I would not mind if men would wear it. I do not regret blind buying 170 ml bottle, will be used as body spray and as room and pillow freshener. If I layer this scent twice on my skin it has better performance, so be generous with spritzes :-) It reminds me a little bit of Herba Fresca - sweet mint vibe.
