4711 Acqua Colonia Matcha & Frangipani

Matcha Powder, Green-Tea & Milky Frangipani... I get matcha powder here. Underlying this, frangipani brings a fruitiness that tilts the base to green-tea, along with a soft milky sweetness, but this is still a matcha tea scent overall. This is fairly linear, but I have an impression that the performance is better than an eau de cologne - possibly because tea scents work well on my skin. Although I think it's more likely just a good quality EDC - projection is arms length for about 2 hours, but the longevity is around 4 hours. I love this more than I thought I would. Enjoy!

Soft and sweet green tea over milky tropical florals in a soothing cologne with surprising projection and staying power. Usually 4711 Acqua Colonias are gone in ten minutes with almost no sillage at all–and that’s part of their charm, a secret personal pick-me-up, but this floats around the body for a good half hour with matcha mochi coolness, and the frangipani lingers on silk all day. Leans to the feminine in a fluttery skirts way. Also brilliant on bath towels.

It is an adorable combination of green, sweet (a bit milky) and floral notes. Very uplifting and suitable for daily use. I love it.

It's been a very long time since I owned a bottle of Aqua Allegoria Herba Fresca from Guerlain, but that's genuinely the first thing I thought about when I sprayed this. It's not identical at all but at first it's similar (until it dries down to be sweeter and a bit more powdery!) I honestly think it would be a fabulous and much more budget friendly alternative to some of the Aqua Allegoria's!

This is delicious! One of the best from this line and from tea fragrances in general! It’s fresh, creamy, herbal and slightly sweet. Perfect for warm days and good for all ages and almost all occasions. Very pleasant and relaxing. Inoffensive and soft. Thumbs up! Final note: 10/10
