This is great! It is like they wanted to make a gourmand without all the superfluous notes. And boy, did they succeeded! It smells delicious, the vanilla here is to die for but they did a great job at the chestnut too. Earthy, sweet and just masculine enough to make this cologne unisex. This perfume is the best from this line. And they finally worked at the sillage. This one has an impressive projection. I was really surprised. If you like the base notes of perfumes like Loverdose Red Kiss or Angel Muse, buy this! Final note: 9/10 P.S: Best for cold days, may be too much in summer.

maybe it's nice, but if you know the acqua colonia line and if you look for a cologne, you'll be disappointed. to me it's sweet vanilla. nothing more. i don't want to smell like ice cream.

Pleasant! Tested on paper. Stronger than I thought. Its vanilla is slightly salty, which does lend it to male aficionados just as well as to women. A gourmand indeed. Somewhat relentless because it is exactly what it says on the bottle, two striking notes that go well together. I miss the milky note that Zadig & Voltaire's This Is Her has.

I’m not sure what chestnut smells like, but I get no vanilla from this. On me this starts out very sharp and then fades to almost nothing....just a lingering of the sharpness. Fortunately it was under $20.
