4711 Acqua Colonia Vetyver & Bergamot

This scent is the female version of Aqua di Gio. It is almost the same - only less strong. It last very long as a skin scent. It keeps the fresh scent all the way. It could easily be an aqua scent - but without saltyness. More like a fresh waterfall, or the cool air around a melting glacier. This would be perfect on boiling hot summer days or as a mood enhancer on a dark november morning. I love it.

Beautiful refreshing cologne. Very reminiscent of 4711, but with a strong undertow of bergamot and a suspicion of vetiver. Finally drying to an intimate scent of vetiver on the skin. If you are looking for subtle, delicate, airy and refreshing....you got it

I wish more people knew about this one. Always pleasant, never cloying, not boring, and very affordable. Perhaps too affordable? If Hermes sold their fragrances for under 50$, we probably wouldn't notice them either.

4711 Acqua Colonia Vetyver & Bergamot: it is a wave of citrusy freshness of bergamot that evokes warm Mediterranean atmospheres, surrounded by welcoming and reassuring notes of boises. A fresh, summery aromatic bland, to be continuously vaporized on the body during the hot summer days in the city and on the beach. Being a cologne it is absolutely fragile and volatile but incredibly fresh. For a more prolonged effect it should be vaporized often.

I thought this one will be earthy vetiver style, but it turns out a fresh scent, and no vetiver, no bergamot that I'm familiar with, just a watery melon-like scent. The opening is really like the smell one get when cut cucumbers. After quite a while, I got a very fiant shadow of vetiver or bergamot. It's like you listen to not the music, but a far far far away echo of the music, so faint that you start to question its existence and fear that you just hear things. I can't say it's a bad scent, it's refresh, light, and suitable for daily use. But stil think it should be named as something like water colors or fresh melons instead of "Vetyver & Bergamot"
