4711 Wunderwasser Men

Just got a 1 ml tester of this. On me, this was everything but woody. A bit cliche masculine fragrance. I can also smell more fruity of the citruses (mandarin orange). Not quite what I expected. Wouldn't say it's bad, but I don't like it. Also, I would recommend using it sparingly. Last week I smelled this fragrance in two nearby towns. But it wasn't that the person wearing it would come close to me, though I think I noticed the same man around twice, the fragrance was just everywhere. The smell wasn't unpleasant, but I wouldn't want to wear fragrance that everyone could smell, especially not this one. So not that bad for a cheap drugstore, but I am not impressed or anything.

My husband tried this one last week and I really like it. Its VERY woody and sensual. Some kind of wood that I can easily imagine a young guy (less than 30 years old) using, maybe because of the citrus. The pepper, anise and tonka bean make this fragrance very sexy. My husband is almost 26 and sporting guy who usually wears citruses perfumes and he loves it. :) I think this will be my next birthday gift to him! ehehe The price is fine. 15 Euros the 50ml bottle and 24€ the 90ml. Long to very long lasting and the silage is moderate. Its a very strong perfume, so I think only 2-3 sprays are enought.

Pretty sure this got discontinued. At least it's not available anywhere in Germany anymore. I actually really liked this one a lot as a more contemporary, fresher and lighter take on the 4711 and would wear it despite being labeled a men's fragrance. Found it to be very unisex. Maybe that's also why it didn't seem to work in the market. For men seeking a men's fragrance it might have been a tad to mild and women might have shied away it being labeled a men's fragrance. Really wish they'd have marketed this as a unisex follow up to 4711. It might have stood a chance to become successful. Too bad.

Opens with a citrus blast, very classic sporty male fragrance. Anise and pepper bring the sweetness down to a more "mature" level. Driftwood is very noticeable and adds a marine finish to it. As other reviewers write, it's very powerful and sticks to clothes easily, it's present even the day after, so don't overspray. Great for summer days and nights, most suitable for younger men in my opinion. I also think it has been discountinued, mine was only 9€ for 50ml on a sale, and haven't seen it in any other store ever since.

Great presence , stong smell still noticeable next day and on clothes two days after ... good if you like it , like me . I still think it reminds me of Nivea Men , and found it very compatible with Ambree Royale deodorant . Don ́t know if it is still available .
