Life Of The Party

This is a fruity/woody fragrance which is done very well, especially for the price point. The black currant and peach are prominent followed later in the dry down by a woody/ambrox (ambergris-adjacent). This does not smell like Baccarat 540- I think people who are drawing that conclusion are smelling the ambrox/ambergris-adjacent note (which is the dominant note in B540) and it reminds them of Baccarat. The fruit notes are very prominent and not at all like Baccarat. I was pleasantly surprised by this one. It’s not super important but the bottles are not appealing and I think that would’ve kept me from even smelling this one if someone hadn’t pointed it out to me.

I have the Discovery set for this fragrance house and this was one of my favorite scents next to Catching Feelings. I love the peach blossom in this it really reminds me of peach candy or drinks I would get at the Asian supermarket. It reminds me of those really humid summer evenings/nights in Japan, a woman in a pretty white dress drinking a peach soda or some kind of peach-flavored drink, glass skin, short dark hair and that is a vibe that I really miss a lot when I got back to Japan. I'm gonna try and save up so I can get the full bottle for the summer months when they arrive.

This is a fabulous perfume with decent performance. I don’t get the comparisons between what is listed. 5 Sens is a great company with awesome values. This performs better than some of my most expensive perfumes. The blackcurrant is beautifully done and is not cloying or sticky. The saffron is an addition to round out the other notes. Even in the hottest of hot, muggy July in Chicago, it still performs well which is more than I can say for most perfumes I’ve tested lately.

This smells like baccarat- and burberry hers sexier sister. I’m not even joking. This was an instant love for me AND my fiancé which is VERY rare. It’s fruity saffron. Like Burberry her but replace the chapstick strawberry note with black current and peach. This is SO damn good for being so cheap.

Very alcohol-forward upon first spray, though that dissipates relatively quickly. I agree with other reviewers that it has a lot of the same same bones as BR540, though it skews brighter and sweeter due to the fruit notes, and heavier on the ambroxan, too. I smell the blackcurrant, but I didn't realize there was peach until I read the notes here. I can smell it now that I know, but it wasn't discernible to me initially. There is something rounder and mellower than blackcurrant, and I'm guessing that's the peach. It's a nice scent, but nothing incredible. Not great longevity. The last thing to leave is the ambroxan, the only thing that lingers more than an hour. 6.5/10.

very baccarat it's true, but truthfully i like this better? mind you, this was a gift and i've never liked baccarat rouge (i'm more into unisex scents) but this is very fruity (mostly black currant on me, not much peach) and feminine with a hint of cotton candy. the jasmine comes out in just the right way, not too heavy. absolutely lovely. i want to be friends with the girl that wears this, she probably has perfect hair and drinks london fogs.

I don’t dislike this fragrance, the fruity peach and black currant notes smell delicious. But I can’t help but think it’s like a body spray I would get from the mall, not even a good one. Like a seasonal rotation from Victoria’s Secret. One of those that blasts with a delicious smell that makes you think it’s a great purchase but then it’s vanished in an hour. So due to that poor longevity I wouldn’t spend money on this.

While I think this is a lovely smell, it’s nothing special and not worth your money. Absolutely no lasting power. It’ll be gone within the next 30 minutes after you spray it. Grab Cheriosa ‘68 or In The Stars from B&BW and you’re getting the same thing - and way more product for cheaper. All this is is fruits and a touch of saffron to give it that airy feel. It’s been done a million and one times.

Life of the Party is like a fruitier, watered down version of Baccarat Rouge 540. It’s sweet, decidedly feminine, youthful but not completely juvenile. On dry down, it smells clean - as in laundry soap or shower gel clean. It’s pleasant. Poor longevity and projection, which is a shame for the price.

Everyone is spot-on that this smells like Baccarat. Kind of a more fruity version. I do get the latex note as well though, so if you're looking for something that doesn't have that, I don't think this is the one. It's decent. Not great, but good.

lovely & energizing with a tart, juicy fruitiness. tiiiny bit of a sweat smell on the latter end, like you've been out in the sun all day. overall i really quite like it.

It is similar to BR540(the saffron&ambroxan), but the peach & currant make it better. I actually can enjoy this

This is BR540, with a HINT of Angel Nova, but cheaper. It feels like it's been done before and is a very over-run fragrance. I feel like I smell like everyone else, and I don't like it. It's not a must have by any means, and I would recommend passing. Just get Angel Nova instead.

objectively this smells fine but some reason i feel like everyone who's kinda done me dirty must wear something with similar notes because my first instinct after spraying this on my wrist was "this smells like bitches i don't fuck with anymore"

Smells just like Baccarat 540 if it were a body spray. I’m not a fan of it so for me it’s a no.

While I usually like to support small perfume houses, I found this to be a very poorly made perfume. The composition just falls apart and rapidly degrades. They seem to have relied almost entirely on fixatives. The top notes are very nice but wear off almost immediately. After about 20 minutes this just becomes a nondescript mix of ambroxan and generic musk. Not a “bad” smell but completely lacking any structure or character. If you take the time to wear this beyond 30 mins I think you may find that it devolves into something really disappointing. Side rant: I’m not sure whether this is intentional or just a result of lack of experience on both ends, but perfumes of “this sort” do seem to be particularly reliant on impulse buys. They seem amazing at first spray and as most people don’t test perfume properly, they purchase based on first impression sprays alone and end up with an inferior product. Not exactly a unique phenomenon in the perfume world, but certain fragrances are especially misleading in that they practically instantly degrade into something unrecognizable from what you initially thought you were getting. Don’t fall for it. Give each perfume a few hours before forming an opinion.

This was a pleasant fruity and slightly floral feminine perfume. I don't love it, but I would pick it up if it was on a deep enough sale. Unfortunately both longevity and projection on this one are really minimal. This was true whether it was sprayed on skin or on clothes. Ultimately, there's nothing particularly special here either except for this brand being a clean brand. Price isn't bad for a 30ml. You won't find many 30ml's cheaper but the trade off will be the performance unless you plan to bring it with you or decant some into a travel size to refresh later in the day. I would grab it on a good sale but otherwise I won't be purchasing a full bottle.

I'm sorry but this smells nothing like baccarat or cloud to me. I blind bought a bottle on ipsy for $20 and I'm not impressed at all. This smells like a bath and body works scent. My boyfriend said it smells cheap and its not his favorite at all or something he would pick out for a girl so take that info and do what you will with it. I have 200+ perfumes and love trying our new brands but this one is a miss. I will use this for bed because it's strong for the first 30 mins to a hour and then it's super intimate and there is no projection. But this company makes all natural perfumes for people who are sensitive to scents and I like super strong scents and didn't know they catered to people who have allergies. I probably wouldn't have bought this if I knew it was going to be a brand for people who are sensitive to perfume just because I like scents like jpg le belle le parfum, ysl libre le parfum and Mugler alien(if you catch my drift, those are hella strong) that project well and last forever especially on clothing. I will def use this tiny bottle up quickly because you NEED to overspray so make sure to throw it in your purse because you will be touching up mid day at work. In the end I'm not mad because it was $20 but if I would have paid full price you bet your sweet bippie I would have taken it back. Also the scent is a little to immature or body spray like for me. I'm 35 now and like more sophisticated scents that don't lean super fruity because I can get that for $5.99(they have sales all the time) at bath and body works if I wanted something fruity that's super light and doesn't last. My rating would be a 5/10 based on longevity, scent and bottle style. EDIT: I sold it because that peach really lingers and stands out in a sour way when mixed with the black currant. Life is too short to wear shitty stinky perfumes

There is no single perfume that smells baccarat-esque that doesn’t pull into that latex glove/dentist’s office vibe on my skin EXCEPT for Life of the Party. It’s a cotton candy sexy coniferous berry fruity floral that I would absolutely consider buying a full size of if not for the fact that I’ve smelled Cloud and all the dupes and copycats following after enough- this is just actually the best rendition I’ve ever smelled of any of them. It’s a great perfume-silage and longevity included.

This is one of my favs! I always get complimented when I wear it!!! It doesn’t last too long on my skin- but lasts a little longer on clothes. (Or maybe I’m nose blind) However, I would spray this as many times throughout the day with no issue because I love it so much. It’s nostalgic in some way... like a store in the mall. Not an Abercrombie store but like DEBS, Charlotte Ruse, Rue 21, etc. (if you know you know). Young but mature. Sexy. Everything!

Fruity, reminds my friends of Saola Asian Unicorn and Juice (Commodity). Pretending I don’t already know some of the notes, and guessing: pineapple, cuties 🍊, nectarine, cotton candy, “sugared musk”, vetiver.

The opening is gorgeous. It has this bubbly champagne vibe to it. But then it dries down and your left smelling like a fruity version of BR 540, it becomes a skin scent after 30 minutes or less

This smells like an electronics store. Like a sweet Best Buy. The scent of that plastic coated cardboard that old PC games came in back in the 90s but with a fruity hint.

I mean this does smell like cloud within the first 3 minutes but then on my skin it goes way more fruity like Armani My Way.

It’s nice. Kinda spicy so I don’t reach for it often but I like it.
