Mermaid's Kiss

The bottle is SUPER cute --both the 30 and 60ml have little pieces of 'sea glass' in them! Initial spray is heavy on the lime with an undertone of cypress that makes it very fresh smelling. The rum notes is hinted at but plays nicely with the other notes. Not boozy in the least. The dry down is reminiscent of a very pleasant suntan lotion that contains a realistic pineapple note. It sticks close to the skin, not too sure about the longevity yet. Overall, the imagery Mermaid's Kiss evokes is one of a relaxing afternoon at a tropical resort. The suntan lotion you put on earlier in the day is sun warmed but fading, so you pull your chair closer towards the shade. A soft breeze runs through the resort's foliage, gently moving the cypress hedges. There's an empty rum glass on your side table, the lip of it clinging to a last few sweet drops, before one of the waitstaff takes it away to give you water with an enormous lime wedge. You take the lime and give it a hearty squeeze, wiping the excess between your hands, before leaning back for a nice afternoon nap.
