This is such a comforting scent! There’s this pine woodiness, sea salt and herbs that altogether create a wonderful picture of a day spent by a northern sea. Leans towards more masculine in my opinion. So glad it is not a typical marine fresh fragrance. Absolutely worth trying. Gem to me

Honestly it's fine. The sea notes smell very sparkling and not synthetic. It's not recreating the wheel but it's enjoyable. More masculine IMO. The fragrance starts to feel more dense in the end with orris and ambergris. I ordered a sample because I loved MacKenzie Reilly's last offering from this house, California Snow. I think she has a knack for textures, as you can feel this one bubbly like sea mist in your nose. She just needs a more original concept to work with.

Way too salty for me, one almost becomes thirsty by smelling it. It is very zen like tho which I can appreciate and it is a very smooth ride. Not something I love however. Well crafted and pleasing 👌

This is a very unique scent, that I can only describe as being trapped in an oil painting of the ocean, hanging on the wall of an old, rundown wooden beach home. Super cool and worth checking out.

I really like this fragrance. It smells very good and interesting, aromatic, evocative of a marine scenery. It is quite faint though, and lasts very short. I'm not obsessed with beast performances at all, but this one is really too quiet. Barely noticeable from first spray.

You have spent a day at the beach and layered all kinds of sunscreen and remains from yesterday's beachgoers all over your hot, lazy skin. You REALLY need to take a shower before going out. Thats what it smells like. Get sober, go take a shower.

Always on the lookout for a true seawater/sea air fragrance, this was on my Must Try list. What I get is definitley a oceanic scent with mineral notes and citrus, very similar to Aqua Motu, but it dries in the same powdery, cheap ingredients way. I"m not a fan. It's not bad, but it's nothing at all special. Not really modern aquatic on me, either, closer to the sea water I’m looking for, but without power or substance, and it just smells so cheap for the price-point. If this was a BBW body splash, I would be buying it in huge bottles so I could refresh at the 3 hour mark when it goes all powdery and cheap, and win back the sea notes. But it's disappointing for the cost.

This is a great wood fragrance, but it’s different. To me, the wood doesn’t really smell like trees, but more like oiled wood furniture pieces. The sea salt marine note goes well with the wood note. I think of a cold- weathered coastal town near a forest. It is a masculine scent but could somewhat pass for unisex. I got a sample and was on the fence about buying a full bottle but after trying it on about 5 times, I went ahead and purchase the bottle.

Marine themed fragrances can easily smell like a synthetic and nauseating disaster. I was quite dubious about this one as well, but decided to get a sample, mainly due to LS's brilliant marketing works. The fragrance is surprisingly good. May not appeal to the crowd still, but well delivers what the brand describes, a shoreline scene with some trees, without feeling like a chemical mess. Worth a try for fans of the category.

Unlike many of the reviews, this actually stays on my skin for 8-12 hrs, and has nice sillage. I like the fact that this was not a standard aquatic based on many of the components. I agree with the opinion of being in the oil based painting that was posted below as that describes this fragrance perfectly.
