This is a win. Aaron creates fragrances that explode as body temp rises. Ironically form some these scentes don’t fit in the warm weather. I don’t care. It’s smells lovely. To me it is chocolate that is tamed by the leather, not the other way around. The leather and chocolate are the main players. All the other notes and accords are there to support and add a little variety and to alleviate the strain the strong notes can create in some noses. Then the amber slightly resinous and slightly vanillic rounds up the fragrance. The musk is present with the leather or at least to my nose. The florals are hard to pick out individually since the leather seems to have a similar scent as the jasmine. The gardenia is very faint but there and surprisingly more detectable as it dries down. Something important to note. Patchouli noir by Aaron utilizes the same chocolate and amber accords. The patchouli is obviously stronger in patchouli noir but the language or the way Aaron creates his fragrances carries over to filth. Filth is a beautiful and daring fragrance. Maybe not as daring other bigger fragrance brands sometimes attempt to be. Nonetheless filth is not for everyone as it should be, this is niche. Note, Aaron also creates fragrances to layer with other, filth can be applied to add more character to his other fragrances.

From my understanding, he uses this as a note in several of his fragrances. Once you smell this by itself, you'll understand what he is talking about. Initially, you'll get the cacophony of gardenia/jasmine with the chocolate and leather. This will become chocolate and leather. The amber and musks will become more prominent as the fragrance dries down. The amber will last well into the next day. Projection was about 3-4 feet. Honestly, I rather enjoy this scent by itself. But I am a fan of leather fresh from the manufacturer. Layering this does seem to work well, especially when you do it with other leather fragrances so the overall scent doesn't change too much.

High price due to inability mass produce. Despite this a great booster and goes well when layering with heavier fragrances. Surprised that not many people comment here as the creator is quite popular and knows what he is doing.

Mediocre quality with average performance.i did not like the leather note in this fragrance and it’s definitely not sexy.
