Guapo

I did a side comparison with Guapo from ATH on one arm and Percival from PdM on the other. This is my thoughts: Openings are a lot different. Percival opens up more sparkling citrusy whilst Guapo is more Ambroxan heavy in the opening. It doesn't take too long for Guapo to settle down to the mid where it get's more woody and fruitier from the apple. At this point, Guapo is very similar to Percival, although the latter is more clean and fresh. Comparing the dry downs, Percival is definitely more soapy, clean, floral, woody while Guapo is more grown up with that green, woody, ambroxan. I love both of them! It might be redundant to own both as it's still the same scent profile, although with different takes. Can't go wrong with either one! Bonus tip if you like this type of DNA, you should also look into Sora Dora's Gladiator.

After blind buying this and smelling Slut Elixir, my conclusion is that ATH produces designer-like fragrances on steroids, which is great. The likability of designer scents is unmatched. This is a fantastic dumb reach. You can wear this anywhere, anytime. Ambroxan bomb with a sharp citrus note, this is like Dior Sauvage married PDM Percival and their son is named Guapo. This scent DNA usually makes you nose blind within minutes, but don't be fooled. Extremely likable and an excellent performer. Longevity is also excellent. It does exactly what I want it to do. Be mindful of your sprays on hot summer days. All of ATH fragrances are very concentrated. I am so happy that I got this.

Very interesting fragrance. Perfect gym scent for me, not too strong so it wont cause headaches. Mass appealing and fresh/aromatic. Lots of vetiver in this which I normally don't like but for some reason in this fragrance it just works well. Definitely a lot of ambroxan in this fragrance but it is blended amazingly, this fragrance screams good perfumery. longevity is not great for me (might be the cold weather) and the sillage and projection are not strong but definitely not a skin scent. described in 1 sentence: Well blended safe gym scent. 8,7/10

A handful of nice green Haitian Vetiver thrown into a mix of Percival and Sauvage Parfum... mass appealing yet not quite the same as anything else you're used to smelling, can be worn day or night, all seasons and office safe. You need to enjoy vetiver to really appreciate this one though. 7-8 hours longevity with medium projection, recommended but should probably sample first if you can find a decant of it.

Ambroxan bomb. Smells like Sauvage, but a higher-end, slightly more complex and smoother version. As I have a lot of frags, it is a bit boring at this point in my fragrance journey, but if you want a simple, compliment-getting, citrusy shower gel fresh scent, you can't get better than this. 9/10

Similar-ish to sauvage, but this is a way better use of ambroxan. Aaron really nails the mix between citrus and vanillic tonka bean and it creates a warm, very slightly sweet and citrusy ambroxan scent. I'm mostly into ouds and animalics but this is one of my favourites from ATH

If you like super potent citrusy frangrances, go for it. Sort of remind me of terre d'hermes turned up 10 times. ATH has some great skills in constructing powerfull frangrances

The musk-ambroxan base with sweet tonka really lifts this up above sauvage, similar citrus profile in both but guapo does it best, a great balance of notes.

I'm torn between a Like and OK here. It's not a bad scent at all. The issue is to my nose, it's Sauvage, or close enough that it's not worth the premium you'll pay to get it. It's well made and it smells nice. I don't dispute that ATH fragrances are all mostly long lasting and made with quality ingredients. The issue to me is, like someone else said, he makes what are basically designer fragrances on steroids. I have 5 or 6 of his scents, so it's not like I dislike the brand. Far from it. But I can certainly see the truth behind people saying his scents are designer fragrances made a little better. Kayos remains the only fragrance from ATH that i truly love.

ATH is a very experimental guy so his fragrances tend to be a love or hate. This one on the other hand, is an exception. It was done by him to be a signature scent, and he did a great job. Those who voted on what it reminds them of, did a good job. If you have any one of those fragrances, then this might be redundant to get, even though it's a really good fragrance. If you don't and wanted a nice signature, all around compliment getter, mass appealing type of fragrance, this is a good grab. It great, fresh, lasts long and is good from first spray to dry down. Seasons I personally suggest for this one, Spring & Cool summers.

This sure reminds me of PdM Percival. Seems more people get better silage with this than Percival but on me it's the opposite. Smells nice overall but nothing special about it. It's citrussy, woody, and aromatic. I get the apple note in it which gives it a shower gelly feel to it that I like. If you have either this or Percival, I would recommend trying the other one before buying. Although they smell different enough but yet similar too. It's good for year-round and office safe.

Guapo smells to me like a mix of A&F Fierce and PdM Percival with something else. It's a very nice fragrance, but makes me feel like it's undefined and unfocused. Due to the similarity with those two fragrances, it smells like it can't settle into a final form. Again, very nice fragrance, but I wouldn't buy a full bottle. Doesn't do anything unique for me. Still, if Aaron released it, it's because he liked it, and that's the important thing. Noses are subjective.

ATH either wows me or sickens me. This is a very smooth, well blended masculine scent. Elevated sauvage alternative. Slight freshness with citrus and masculine vetiver, but amber and tonka smooth this out and make it a bit sweeter. Solid daily option and hard to not like. Guapo Extreme on the other hand is a nutmeg bomb monstrosity, DO NOT get the extreme PLEASE.

Percival+Sauvage mix, but this one smells more airy and woody. Not heavy at all, pretty basic and nice scent, I don't really have much to add because it's DNA is kind of "generic" lol. Out of all ATH I've tried so far this one was the most "generic" as to say. Performance is nice obviously as with all ATH fragrances. 7/10.

As some have said, it is an ambroxan bomb & Musk is when it dries down. It's enjoyable and, I'd say I like the opening more (The Citrus) than the dry down (Abrax/Musk), not that the dry down is bad, it's just a lot calmer than the opening. It's nice to check out but, nothing to go crazy for in my humble opinion.

I enjoy this. However, it reminds me of a fusion between Sauvage edt, Ysl Y edp, with a touch of the dry down of BDC. At the same time I feel like those alone do a “better” job at achieving what this does. Guapo is great for what it is, and a sure compliment magnet based on its notes. 6.5/10

This is hand down one of the best mens fresh musk with a sexy amber touch one of the best scents out there I will forever buy this and use this so long as arron keeps making it I've gotten wild reactions from woman wearing this

Very mass appealing and pleasant, but too similar to sauvage in my opinion. Best way that i can describe is like old batches of sauvage but strength turned up 10 times. 10/10 longevity 9/10 sillage 8/10 smell 6/10 price

Has ATH’s signature apple-vodka-chloroform essence. Citrus and ambroxan bomb. Bed of vetiver. Not bad.
