Haze Extreme

How to start? Ok, I am just going to jump right in without any fancy words that make me seem like I am a poet. I am not, I am like the majority of people who buy fragrances, just another person looking for their next favourite fragrance and after you get to a certain point in your collection it seems to get harder to achieve to find those fragrances that made you go wow as much until now, I finally feel that way again at last. Recently I found Aaron’s YouTube channel and decided to buy his "Hard Candy (2023) | Aaron Terence Hughes" which I instantly fell in love with and ended up buying several in 3 separate orders that came with samples. He makes this easy because he gives us high quality Extrait concentration fragrances at great prices with a 10ml option on top of his 50ml bottles, and the 10ml bottles get just as much care and detail as the 50ml bottles do, as they both come boxed and labelled with great design. Now let’s get in to what you are here for, the smell. This opens with strong citrus which I wasn’t fond of but what it becomes is what makes this special. What I like about his fragrances is that while you get the linear backbone of the fragrance it is also non linear at the same time. It doesn’t act like other non linear fragrances I own where they go through stages and once that stage is over it’s gone until the next time you wear it. Instead what his fragrances that I own and have tested do is more interesting because the way I experience it is by having stages come and go and then come back again and at the same time some of the best notes pop out and say hello here and there and then another note will do the same taking turns in doing so while maintaining the notes that keep it together prominent. After a few minutes of waiting for the citrus to settle I get this dry, fresh wood scent with a little bit of pineapple and then the notes that pop out every so often are this deep rich sweet notes which I presume is the Rose Absolute which is said to smell like jam according to Aaron himself when he talks about using this note in his videos on YouTube, but I get more of a rich honey sweet smell. The main backbone with that dry fresh wood also contains musk, a slight Smokey smell and the blackcurrant along with the ambergris. I also get some zesty notes popping in and out here and there and unlike many other lemon notes that smell like detergent this smells natural so if you are worried about that in the opening when you first spray this on, don’t because it will work its magic and become the beautiful smell that this is. This kind of reminds me of his Neon 2023 fragrance but with a much more niche feel to it. Like something along the lines of Naxos from Xerjoff. I am not saying they smell exactly the same but rather they are on the same level and a similar kind of smell without the tobacco though. It's the Rose Absolute that makes this the game changer, as it gives it that same deep, rich sweet smell that the honey in Naxos does. Projection is great and I woke up this morning still smelling this project from the top of one hand. So longevity is brilliant here. If you are thinking of trying Aaron’s fragrances go for the 10ml they are absolutely worth it and I would gladly recommend this or his Hard Candy 2023 versions. He also has an Elixir of Hard Candy you could try. He has a range of natural Oud fragrances also that are popular. One is his "Onyx Extreme 2023. It may be missing from the database at the moment but I will continue to post on the forums to get more like this fragrance from Aaron added when I get time to do so. This is my favourite house at the moment and I simply can’t stop buying his products.

There is no B.O. here. At all. It's citrus forward, darker after 10 minutes, an airy 'Grey' aspect that's hard to define, smells like what you would imagine a dark grey sports car would smell like if it had a scent of its own. The citrus remains for total wear, but the scent really starts to die down after 3 hours or so. Hopefully the summer and high heat kick this up a notch. But overall, very mysterious, sexy, hazy grey smell, that's accompanied by an uplifting citrus accord. Wonderful, again. ATH is whipping up medicine.

Lemon Starburst, a kiss of orange, and that classic sour cannabis smell. Very very very recommended for the fresh badboy, along the likes of bad boy cobalt electric, same family other end of the spectrum. 9.5/10 for this one. Longevity has increased since initial spray, and lingers in the air amd has good projection. Everything this man makes has staying power and unique twists on modern classics.

I think Haze Extreme and Supersonic are both great perfume from Aaron Terence Hughes.. I know they can be copy of Aventus/Hacivate/Elysium but both Haze extreme and Supersonic are special..with great projection and sillage... The rest of all Aaron Tefrence Hughes are just to over priced and too over hyped...

It is crazy that Aaron Terence Hughes charged so much for his fragrances,, His all fragrances are copy of other perfumers..nothing special about his fragrances at all.. and this kind of citrusy perfumes are around here in the US for a lot of less money..so save your self some money and look some where else.

Rindy grapefruit, akin to D&G LB Forever but then mixed with the Hacivat/Aventus Base..this is a perfect 10 as far as summer fragrances go, but then there's the limited availability throughout Europe issue...hope Aaron finds a way to get his products on the EU market (preferably without the huge VAT taxes)

Sweet orange Mind Games Blockade, this is also slightly reminiscent of an orange tic-tac, very powdery and candy-like if you will. Huge performer and longevity is great (around 10 hrs). All in all I prefer the original Haze but this one is a banger as well. 8.5/10

This is even better than Aura+. I think I will layer them. Smelling grapefruit, but very good one. Ill return with more feedback. Edit: it reminds me on DG Light Blue but muuuuch stronger. Longevity is 8+ hours with projection of 3. Great work Aaron!

The best freshie I have ever smelled, the sillage of haze extreme is insane, to put rose as one of the supporting notes is bloody genius, everyone that smells haze extreme from me, falls in love with it, hope to see it return

Generic but long lasting. If you are looking for a safe citrus & fruit type of scent that is nothing unique/new, but it lasts and projects for a impressing amount of time, then this might be a good buy.

This lasts forever 12 hours easy. This projects like a monster well over 6 feet, and a compliment beast. I recommend this every time someone asks me what should I buy. This is what you should buy

Haze extreme is a punchy citrus bomb, long lasting, really worth it for haze extreme and the sillage is amazing!! Best freshie I own

I wonder if this is what the bartenders at Van Kleef in Oakland, CA smell like when they go home for the night (if you know, you know). I smell like I just cut up a basket of grapefruits and the juice got all over me. Spray this confidently on a hot summer day and prepare for complements. Perfect summer fragrance - I look forward to wearing it at the beach. I wish it was a little less one-deminsional, but that's a minor gripe. It's enjoyable and pleasant. Very safe blind buy.

This is definitely grapefruit done right. It comes across as a very juicy, sweet & tangy grapefruit at full ripeness. I like this one quite a bit although I do find it more of a scent to enjoy in experience rather than something to wear to impress others. Doubt many would find this offensive but also can't see many being wowed by it as its pretty much just juicy sweet grapefruit! I like it.

It is very grapefruity, citrusy ,herbal and pineapple. Almost like a citrus tea. In the dry down i can smell the pineapple more and more as time goes on. It grabs attention, pierces your nose and projects and lasts like a beast. If you need a freshie to last all day, this will cover you up

Ignore the dude below me who has some weird agenda against ATH and is leaving hate reviews on all the ATH frags he has. This stuff is real nice. You can tell if someone is new to the frag game or just has a shit nose when they call houses "dupe houses" just cause they make a vanilla fragrance or a fougere. Going off of this guy's logic, every fragrance release in the past 10 years is a clone cause it didnt invent the scent profile xD I personally havent smelled a salty grapefruit with ambergris, rose and oakmoss in any other fragrances I've tried, and while the similarity to maybe hacivat could be there...I own both and they are miles apart.

Next ATH in line for trying. This one is actually good, the first 30 minutes you get a great grapefruit, which actually feels dry. A little similar to aventus but not that much. Very enjoyable, however past 2 hours, this gets quite synthetic smelling and the base left is not that great. If you actually want a great and unique grapefruit fragrance, get summer of 84. Blooooows this one out of the water

Better than Haze Blue, etc. This really hits the perfect citrus bomb 💣 🎯 mark... for about 20 minutes. Then the zest becomes less pronounced and the scent picks up a B/O vibe. Like armpits lol. Gnarly.
