Hombre

Hombre is a distinctly masculine, fresh fragrance that works in just about any season or setting. It opens with a punch of citrus, sage, and cedar—bright, sharp, and very direct. Some might interpret that sharpness as slightly synthetic, but it’s intentional. Aaron clearly designed it this way. When I say “sharp,” I don’t mean harsh—I mean it isn’t overly smoothed out or blended into a soft, rounded profile. Each note stands out clearly and hits your senses with purpose. From start to finish, the scent stays consistent. The citrus gradually fades into the background while the sage and cedar take the lead. There’s also a subtle touch of vetiver that adds a light earthy nuance, but it never takes over. Performance is outstanding. It easily lasts all day with strong projection for several hours—exactly what you’d expect from an ATH fragrance, where quality ingredients are never in question. Overall, I’d rate it a 7.9 out of 10.

If you love Terre d'Hermes, you're probably going to love this one. Starts off with a strong blast of bitter citruses that I can still somewhat detect on my skin 5 hrs in. The clarysage kind of mixed together with the vetiver and cedar for a green/herbaceous/soapy/woody scent that lasts for the remainder of the fragrance. It's a rather simply, but clean/elegant versatile scent that's distinctly different from the usual scent profiles that ATH produces.

Hombre starts out with a blast of citrus like I have never experienced. The opening is akin to Creed's VIW, but unlike VIW, it fills a room with its intoxicating freshness. It settles quickly and I see the similarities to TdH, but this has much more citrus. About two hours in, the heavy citrus fades and it turns in to a blue scent. It projects hard and smells fantastic. This is one of ATH's better offerings. I am going to go 8.5 on this one.

Idk how but an ATH fragrance has become one of my all time favourites........EVER! This one really had to grow on me. I HATED this at first spray but the more I smelled it on my skin, the more addicted I got to it. So green, dark green yet it has this soapy vetiver aspect that just makes you smell like a clean, rugged MAN. Very natural smelling (duh its fully organic) and unlike anything I have tried before. Bravo Aaron...bravo.

Hombre surprised me, smells of high quality that you get in a roja, that clarysage note stays the whole way through, beast mode longevity and projection, can tell there is very high quality ingredients in hombre, definitely try this one, smells very natural, hombre is special

A clean, vibrant and uplifting scent that opens with a refreshing citrus which is soon followed by a sweet aura around the citrus. The sweetness is the type that you can smell on piece of mint candy or gum before you eat it. I really enjoyed the experience.

This one was a real surprise for me. Being familiar with most of ATH's work, I developed a certain amount of expectations from every new thing he does, but this one - I was very wrong. It started with a "bright citrus blast", and I was expecting another Supersonic-ish freshie, but it went the opposite way. Don't get me wrong, it is fresh, but not through citruses/ginger/musks, but rather through clean sharp splash of the clary sage. I won't say it was love from the first try, but I really respect the creativity and novelty in this one.

This is an excellent masculine scent. It has a fresh citrus opening and as it settles the more masculine clary sage and woods shine through whilst still retaining the brightness from the citrus top notes. I would say you can’t go wrong with this as a more formal gentleman’s scent, when you want to make make the impression of a capable professional or at a formal event like a wedding etc. it’s definitely not a clubbing scent and is not like Aaron’s usual very sweet youthful offerings, which gave their place but maybe don’t carry the same air of sophistication that this does. I’d give this a 10 for scent and quality, I just wish I could afford to spray it more often as a daily wearer but for now it’s a special occasion scent.

Classic masculine that straddles old school and modern. It’s a second cousin to TDH, not a brother. If fresh and clean gentleman is your thing you will be happy with this. It’s actually not very linear as the opening is a classic citrus mixed with Italian country style (or at least that’s what my imagination evokes), and the dry down is more aromatic with a nice subtle wood and this is wear I feel it’s not dated but modern and enjoyable. This is a keeper.

I get a Terre d'Hermès and Fat Electrician combo in the beginning and then a clean woody dry-down... I think I personally enjoy the dry-down phase of this fragrance the most. Side notes: I would never pay retail for this... but those small traveling decants may be worth it for the right price.
