This smells like the kind of guy most girls don't want to admit they are attracted to, but ultimately are, cause even though they aren't the most intellectual and complex persons, they are social, confident, manly, and easy-going. These guys don't know the root cause of racial issues, they never will, cause they aren't wired to worry about things, but the amount of doubt they carry when taking care of an indoor bug is zero. This is what you want, but not what you want to want; it's simple, stupid and completely irresistible. Sort of a bitter fusion of Aventus/Sauvage, it has very little fruitiness and much more vetiver-ish beigeness, with that ambroxan screechy metallic cling. Think of a dried blood orange resting on ambroxan and some vanilla cream. I have both the 2023 bottle and the sample version of old Legend, and they are very similar. The opening is identical, but the new version is super strong, I think it's because of the ramped up ambroxan, which sadly dominates the entire scent canvas. The old version was more balanced, weaker, juicier and sweeter, and now it is leaning a little bit more towards Sauvage. Personally I don't like that change, although I like that it's much stronger. It smells of very high quality, but let's be clear: it's not elegant or mysterious in any way. Can be used as an every day scent in warmer weather, for summery vibe dates and parties.

This fragrance was recently reformulated as a part of ATH's rebranding, so some of the older reviews aren't reflective of the newer scent. This is my first ATH fragrance and I got my bottle of Legend about 2 weeks ago, and have been wearing it non-stop. As others have mentioned, this is Aaron's take on a "Blue" fragrance. It has a fantastic and clean citrus and bergamot opening that radiates, and is ambroxan heavy for sure. Has a nice woody scent on the dry down. For me on my skin, I get fantastic projection and have been averaging around 7-8 hours of wear time. On clothes I'm able to pick the scent up the next day. The packaging of the bottle is nice, and it has quite literally the best atomizer I've personally ever used, even putting the ones that Dior uses to shame. Overall, I really enjoy this fragrance, and would highly recommend it if you're looking for a mass appealing fragrance with great projection and longevity!

Got this and another sample of one of Aaron’s up and coming releases when I bought Hard Candy 2023. This man is giving us high quality fragrances at affordable prices and what’s great is he does 10ml bottles to give even those of us who wish to experience high quality natural notes which if you were to buy else where would cost you triple the price. Aaron wanted to expand his portfolio to show that he can do designer mass pleasing fragrance at a high level and that is what he has done with Legend 2023. This is like a mix of Sauvage and Luna Rosa Carbon with a subtle hint of Bleu De Chanel and his own twist of course. So if you have ever wanted Sauvage I say get this. It is much better quality than the actual Sauvage.

I am going to be talking about the 2023 version which is the newer bottle. First of this stuff is insanely good! Yes it may smell simple to people that are really into fragrances but to the mass public, people really like this stuff. I wore this too a party recently and people were literally pulling me to the side and asking what im wearing because they said I smelled really good. On my skin at first I thought the performance was meh until people around me told me its super strong and I think a lot of us tend to go noseblind. In terms of the scent its in that BDC blue fragrance realm but done right. Im excited for aaron to release 100ml bottles in 2025 because I already know im going to have to get another bottle.

Ambroxan and grapefruit bomb. The oakmoss base is heavy and lasts an eternity. Very loud but easy to wear. Go easy with the sprays because it can easily fill a room! Cheers! 09/09/2025 Edit: This is easily one of my top 5 longest lasting fragrances. I have the old blue square bottle. I normally spray my frags on my clothes and neck but Legend I only spray on my neck (2 sprays). ATH frags stick to my clothes for days/weeks....even after washing. That aside, it's one of the best "blue freshies" I have in my collection. I have the entire Sauvage and BDC lines and this one tops them all, IMO. It's nothing fancy and very simple....but it's done very well and DOES garner complements ALL THE TIME!!

Excellent scent. Smells like if BdC and Aventus had a love child and he had grown up to be your surfer dude uncle who invested in bit-coin back in the 00’s. Great longevity and performance. Think of this as a MIDNIGHT blue fragrance rather than a bog standard fresh bluey. Notes as listed. Classy but not pretentious. You’ve got to like ambergris and oak moss to appreciate this stunner. Leans more ‘male’ Age 20+ Day or Night. Any Season. Safe blind buy. 8.5/10.

Another fragrance that I don’t understand the low rating for. It opens like bdc, but the dry down is a little cleaner/soapier, with a slight similarity to Dylan Blue as others have voted for. Just an easy grab, albeit not a game changer. Definitely blind buy worthy before discontinuation if BDC or similar frags are your type.

This smells beautiful, very well balanced, versatile & mass appealing. This would be a great Sauvage alternative for those whom are bored of Sauvage but still want the attention and compliments Sauvage brings to the table and yet whom still want to smell different to most people wearing popular fragrances.

This is a masterpiece of a blue fragrance. Its so simple yet so good. Its your typical fresh clean out the shower Smell but make it thicker and sweeter higher quality shower gel. When I say this I mean this in the best way possible. Yes its simple..but it works. Also a compliment magnet. Ladies love it.

Take Luna Rossa Carbon (sans lavender) and Davidoff Cool Water Parfum, mix them together then smooth any rough edges. This is what I get. The citruses in the opening last a while on my skin. This has staying power, especially in the cold weather. So easy to wear and enjoyable as well. Another ATH hit!

This is a review of the matte bottle, which imo is Def better than the newer glossy bottles. It's great for what it is. Heavy grapefruit/green apple with some amber/oakmoss. Like a cross between fragrance one/sauvage/BDC. Very mass appealing I don't see anyone around you not thinking this smells good!

This is one of his more easy to wear fragrances. Blue, but not a linier boring blue frag. Opens with citrus and dries down to something very amazing. Strong projection. Unique in the fact it has some depth to it. Going to be in heavy rotation for me this spring and summer

My favorite "blue" fragrance. He absolutely nailed this one. I stood a couple feet away from the cash register at a chiptole and the woman behind the register said I smelled really good, so this stuff projects pretty well.

This is EXCELLENT, Aaron's interpretation of the Sauvage DNA mixed with the general Blue fragrance profile. Smells intoxicating and addictive. I even prefer it over Sauvage. Price point is also excellent!

Besides Erba Pura which is in a league of its own.. this is the most genuine beast mode fragrance ever. It doesn't necessarily fill the room every time but is noticeable by everyone all day.

This is neon from ATH the heavy pineapple, but for the price is a really nice quality 👌🏻 I really love the fragrances from ATH I have 12 already

Blue fragnance, reminds me of Dior Sauvage and other blue fragnances. I am really happy with this fragnance. I like it and I rate it 8/10

This is a Legend! As the name suggest. It is refined. Smooth. The best of marine and ambroxan types. Elegant

I never understood the hype behind Bleu de Chanel, but I admit this is a seriously improved version of it. The new 2023 legend is a very well blended citrus ambroxan bomb that lasts forever, and the sprayer is a fire hose. Compared to the other fragrances I own from ATH (Guapo, Maverick, Homme) this much less creative. Maverick and Guapo are much more interesting and remain in the same category, with Guapo being a fresh green and Maverick being much darker and leaning towards vanilla / tonka. I like these fragrances because the material costs are likely 10-30x higher than designer fragrances, and the bottles cost under 2x as much which makes for uncompromising mass appealing scent. Knowing about this house requires some amount of fragrance autism which means if strangers ask what I'm wearing I tell them "Dior Sauvage" instead of explaining the fragrance YouTube iceberg.

Aarons take on a classic blue fragrance. Opens up like Sauvage with bergamot and slightly metallic ambroxan and slowly turns softer with some vanillic qualities and something in the background that makes me think about rubber or plastic (in a good way). Like opening up new electronics or something. I have no idea where people get pineapple from. Perhaps it is because bergamot is often used to make a pineapple accord? Longevity is not terrible but I wish it was a little bit better. Mellows out a bit sooner than I would like, but so does Sauvage and BdC imo. If you like blue fragrances (especially Sauvage) and are looking for something similar for a great price, try it out!

I wore this to work this evening and glad I took the bottle. I put on 8 sprays and wasn't even in a scent bubble. I had to smell my shirt to get a good whiff. I reapplied every 3 hours or so and finally got some projection. Just like all the other ATH I have tried, they are hyped to the max but refuse to deliver. It smells really good, but not great. I dont see the Sauvage or BDC comparison at all. Its its own blue fragrance. I secured a 30ml bottle and don't intend to repurchase. Hopefully Supersonic does better for me than this. 8/10

In the opening I can smell a icy blast of cold mountain air with hints of tangerine and pineapple. A mix of synthetic ambergris ie ambroxan and citrus notes makes the opening quite fresh and invigorating to the senses. After a while a clean white moss accord becomes apparent with a little creaminess and I can also smell a nice apple freshness. In the base I can pick up some tonka and woods. It smells like a lot of other designer blue fragrances but the quality in this one just shines through. Very nice!

This doesn't smell anything like sauvage or aventus. Its a modern take on an aromatic fougere with a very rindey grapefruit top note and a mid of what comes across as cold spices (lavender and rosemary although they are not listed as notes, I think it's the Oakmoss, Elemi resin, Patchouli notes that create this vibe). It's really nice and easy to wear in the summer if you like grapefruit. Moderate performance on me.

These people have no idea what they are talking about. This smells nothing like Sauvage, Aventus or X-Batch. If you follow Aaron, this is his take on the classic fougére. The tonka comes out in this way more than any Ambroxan. Reminds me of something that would come out in like the 90s. Nice office every day scent.

Aaron’s version of a Blue fragrance. Not crazy strong on my skin or super long lasting like his other work, but still solid. If you put Bleu de Chanel, Bleu Electrique, and Sauvage in a blender you would get something that smells like this. Good, but not a game changer.

Niche citrus bomb. Strong amberous overtone. Nuance everywhere. But blends into one smooth, mediocre mix. Smells nice and that’s about it. One of the easier wears from this house.

BDC, sauvage etc? Who the hell is sniffing these? Smells nothing like those fragrances

I recently purchased this one on maxaroma along with its mate Maverick. I was hoping to see or rather smell something of the artist in the work. Unfortunately I'm getting something fairly common from this. It has a strong similarity with pineapple vintage xbatch. A bit aventus and a bit sauvage. Its pleasant but unremarkable. The only reason I know who Aaron Terence Hughes is, is because I'm a perfume enthusiast. I'd wager most people who know who he is are "perfume people". Why give us something that can be easily found elsewhere? If he releases more of these I hope they stray far from the beaten path and give us something more unique. If I were to judge the house based solely on this release I would be disinclined to dig deeper. These more affordable options should give us a small taste of what the house has to offer and get us interested in collecting his creations.

I could see the similarities between this and Dylan blue, although DB opens citrus, whereas legend goes right past the citrus too that apple note. DB is an ambroxan bomb and legend is a bit more balanced. DB lasts and projects, legend is a bit on the moderate side. Personally I’d call this more of a fresh Layton, mainly due to the apple. Very versatile, office safe, crowd pleasing, more for a younger crowd but any age would be appropriate. Dumb reach. Discontinued, sad to see it go, along with a bunch of Aaron’s other gems. EDIT I’ve seen this compared to an axe spray and ever since I heard that I can’t stop imagining axe when I smell this. Still it’s a great fragrance, I get compliments all the time, but the supermarket isn’t exactly high society, so maybe exclude this one from your black tie events.

Hm. Well.. this was a disappointment. Its Sauvage. Thats all. If you are a fragrance snob, im sure you can find differences between this and the Sauvage line, but to the everyday fragrance wearer, this is redundant if you already own the Sauvage fragrances. I love ATH's gourmond, dark, "colder weather" fragrances btw and those set a bar so high that my expectations for his fragrances are pretty high. I wish I could say its different and i love it. But unfortunately, its just not and I dont.

It's absolutely not a bad scent, doesn't feel cheap or poor quality. It's just really boring. I understand that the aim is to demonstrate that Aaron can do a mainstream male perfume. He is incredibly talented and of course he can do all sorts of perfumes. But I don't feel that this scent has a heart and purpose beyond the perfumer making a point. Maybe for someone who loves blue scents this may be a fun wear but I'm not one of them. 6/10 - purposefully uninspired

Wore this today and as soon as. I sprayed I got sauvage probably edp , not as spicy and maybe more fruity up top and it did not change much on my skin . Decent projection and lasted well, probably lasts for day on clothes. People who love blue sauvage type Ambrox heavy frags will love this and most women like this style . But for me meh.... It’s very decent but not for me .

These bottles were ugly as shit wtf is up with the square bottle on this site? Lol anyway the one I sampled is from a tall skinny bottle. Tbh it does smell really good in the opening and it very much so resembles sauvage EDP but man the dry down is nasty af and is very stinky/screechy almost like a clone would have and it lasts for like 24 hrs! I can’t get it off my skin but once I do I’m never spraying this on skin again. I think it’s the white musks he uses and I hate that which is why I flipped all my ATH bottles that I had in the past.

So I have the new 2023 and this has a great zest grapefruit lemon tonka patchouli and sandalwood is what I get definitely great quality perfume unfortunately this does not last on my skin if I use vaseline on my pulse points if lucky I get the 6 hours otherwise I get like 4-5 hours performance over price not worth it, solid 7.3/10 I wish this lasted longer on my skin.

in the same ballpark as ATH Guapo. Except guapo has a more deep (love it or hate it) ambroxan that might annoy your nose. I like this more than guapo its easier to wear and guapo is annoying to my nose even though i love that one outside of the upsetting ambroxan. I might be wrong with the ambroxan maybe it's something else, but i think it is. this is a nice blue-like fragrance. going to buy a full bottle at some point. gotten to the point where blue frags are actually the truth and GOATed and IDGAF what snobby fragheads will say, a nice blue fragrance is appreciated by almost every nose.... which is part of the point of wearing fragrances, smelling nice :)

I review one of the first batches. Great one for people looking for T.D Hermes alternative. However i wouldn't say this juice is similar to either BDC, Sauvage, or Prada Luna Rosa Carbon. It could be sorted in that family of fragrances but is by no means similar to them. This is one of the rare ATH where you don't get monstrous performance, and imho the price is way too high for what you get. Not much niche vibe from this one.

Received a 10ml bottle of this yesterday. Seen good reviews on YouTube so thought id give it a go. My first impression was it smelt like Office by Jeremy fragrance. Ive worn it now for about 24 hours. It smells similar to Office. So it's in that vain. I originally left a poor review of this scent but as time past I enjoyed it more & got some compliments on it too. It's nothing amazing but what it does, it does well. 6/10

Think of this as a blue fragrance that is extremely thick, creamy, musky, powerful. This lasts damn near forever. I applied this around noon and then I was too tired to shower that night and fell asleep. 4pm the next day I still smell it. If this is what you like get it because it delivers. If you don’t like those things you won’t like this because it is 100% committed to what it’s going for. Not for me personally

Magical fragrance; opens like BDC and then gets closer to Sauvage as it dries down. On the journey, it transitions from the unremarkable to something really quite stunning. Good longevity, but modest projection in comparison to some of his other perfumes. 9/10

Just got a bottle of this, really amazing. It smells almost exactly like Percival, but actually smoother and cleaner. There is a little similarity with Prada Luna Rossa Black as well. The projection and silage are very impressive, it smells amazing in the air.

@perfume4everyone - what's with the hating of @fortlandia? They're just bringing a bit of humour to an otherwise quite dry subject. Miserable git. The scent is great by the way.
