Raw Cherry

I surprised myself with how much I love this stuff. It’s POWERFUL. Oudy, a Thai Oud, slightly raunchy, thrusty, woody. The Cherry is the LOUD post-agricultural variety, a cherry bounced back through the isles of consumer products like sweets and lip-balm, one that is more at home in a night-club or in a city park-lavatory. The cherry lingers with those woodsy notes all the way through. You can apply this conservatively in the evening before you hit the pub, fresh slightly citrusy... And at 5am when you stagger out of the clubs, this will still be there at your side to carry you, warm, comforting, rich, maybe a bit of rose, vanilla, nutmeg and cocktail-boozy. Alternatively, if you live in the country, you will catch whiffs of this around you for a good while as it to wafts to well outside your paddock. This was not how I expected it. more like finding a real fun and personable playmate from well outside of my ‘normal’ social group. Aaron Terence Hughes creations are hedonistic, extroverted and contemporary, one to take with you into the madness that we live in.

Received my bottle today and my first thought is that TF Lost Cherry, which was too syrupy for me, will never be compared to this as they are so different. The opening is insanely sexy in the dirtiest way possible. It gives me that vibe of a black latex costume with a whip, though ofc it is unisex. I absolutely agree Raw Cherry has got that similar (but less) booziness and sparkling effect in Initio Side Effect. The booziness is more subdued towards the drydown though. The cherry is dark, sour, bitter, juicy, and just irresistible! While the Thai Oud, which becomes more present after the opening, smells woody, bitter, dry, green-medicinal — not barnyard type. The proportion and the contrast between the cherry and the woody aspect are perfectly balanced. This has quickly become one of my favourites, despite the fact that I always avoided cherry in fragrances. Beautiful scent to seduce!! Update: This oud sticks on my hair even after the second wash

Wow, this is a great one. Opens with mildly sour and juicy cherry, along with bright mandarin. Throughout the life of the fragrance, there is a very green and dry oud note that has really grown on me. Then, to darken the fragrance a bit is dark chocolate and tonka bean, which also adds a subtle and sweet gourmand aspect to it. The performance is fantastic. Lasts from morning application until night, at which point it finally becomes a skin scent. It's very addicting and I bought a full bottle within one day of owning a sample. I only wish we got more of the vanilla and amaretto in this one, but maybe that's just not shining through as strongly on my skin. I didn't expect to enjoy a cherry scent after hating Lost Cherry as much as I did, but ATH has pleasantly surprised me, once again. My third ATH, after Daddy and Homme.

This is the best Cherry out there. It starts off as a quite sharp cherry liqueur then quickly dries down to a smooth vanilla/chocolate woody scent, with a beautiful cherry note that’s not to cloying and stays there till the end. The silage is insane and if I’m wearing it my family can usually find me in a supermarket by following the scent trail! you definitely don’t need to overspray, this one is a less is more type of scent. For me it’s not an everyday wear as it is so strong it could be a bit overpowering in an office setting and I tend to put it on every so often in the winter, for either special occasions or a date night or if I want to mix it up a bit and nit wear my dumb reaches.

ATH send me a small sample of this amazing fragrance, I used at work the other day and I was blown away how good this is, super long lasting and fills the room, I've been told I smell amazing, and I could smell myself the whole time. Longevity: 5/5 over 10hrs Sillage/Projection: 5/5 5-6 hrs with beautiful, nice trail behind the wearer. Compliment Factor: 5/5 totally a compliment getter, pleasant scent. Price tag: 4/5 a bit expensive but I will pay the price 50ml/145£ I consider buying a bottle very soon. Update 28.11.22 Bought my 50ml bottle, extremely happy, one of the best choice I could do, totally worth the price.
