Slut Élixir

I have been dying to write a review for this as it has been available in the discovery kit and through free samples for a good while now, just so that I can share with people the pure joy this fragrance brings to me. I honestly think this is Aaron’s next Hard Candy which is his top selling product at the moment. This imo is either going to take that spot of bestseller, or be up there with it. What will help with that is also the price. The 50ml is a very reasonable £99 which is not a lot for what he has on offer here with it being Extrait level concentration. Just look at those notes! I smell this and I think of a store full of bright, vibrant candy all over the place like in Willy Wonka, but instead of the chocolate river it is the scene with wallpaper that tastes like candy treats in the OG film and they will have you floating like they are at the end of the movie with this peppermint breeze just lifting you off the ground full of freshness. The best I can do to give you an idea of how this smells is, you know how everyone said about 1 million elixir, if someone could capture the opening of that scent it would be amazing. This is what Aaron done but then some! He doesn’t just capture the opening though, he adds to it with this juicy sweet fruity notes that are just mind blowing, but then he goes and adds peppermint to it to give it this fresh sweet pop to it all. Then you also get a feel of IMO the best of the 1 Million fragrances being Lucky with that plum in there which is so good! Take the opening of 1 Million Elixir add 1 Million lucky especially with that plum note, and then add that sweet peppermint candy and this is Slut Elixir! Don't worry about the peach note in there, i know that can often lean feminine, but that is not the case here. I think the amber, vanilla, patchouli and tonka bean is what is also giving the 1Million vibe, but I am surprised the peppermint is only a top note because it acts like both a top and a mid note as it will be with you well after the mandarin orange smell has faded and the other gorgeous notes are popping in and out like juicy treats are being sent along the factory conveyor belt ready for you to devour one by one. I should state that the peppermint is not like Sedley, where the spearmint dominates. No, instead, the peppermint shares the smell of all those other notes. If his Hard Candy is a deep chocolate kind of candy gourmand, this is like another level of candy gourmand. Jolly Ranchers mixed with that caramel pop corn smell with plum from 1 Million Lucky would be my closest attempt to help you understand, but they just don’t even come close to explaining how amazing this actually smells. This could have easily been named something like Slut Candy and been part of the Candy flankers. Because you could easily spray this all over someone and have the urge just to lick it off them. The peppermint is like those minty hard rock candy canes you get at Christmas, that just helps lift the other sweet delicious notes that are in this off the skin. Having been able to sample this for roughly the last 2 months, Slut Elixir has been my most anticipated release of the year, and finally the 10ml and 50ml are here. It will be a 50ml for me. It is perfectly unisex by the way. Scent is a 20/10 Projection is not crazy but it’s good 8/10 Longevity: if you get this on clothes people will think you have definitely been swimming in Willy Wonka’s river, but instead of chocolate it’s like this hard toffee kind of smell that is not overly sweet, do not worry about that. I hate stuff like Vicious Cacao but I love this. You can wear this in winter or summer no problem. I have noticed that it can sometimes smell different depending on the temperature. I find i can smell the peppermint better in cooler days while the fruity notes are more prominent in hot days. His 50ml bottles are always a 10/10 If you love candy you will absolutely love this.

Ok, I'll admit it up front. I love a good blast from Slut! After seeing ATH on YouTube, I was left in no doubt he knows his onions. Anyone who can break down and analyse a fragrance with the expertise demonstrated must surely be able to create something special when combined with his chemistry knowledge! I was right! Thankfully, I took a chance and went for Slut elixir after reading the high reviews levelled at the ATH brand across the world of perfumery, consistently high scorers across the board. Whilst I adore brands like Orto Parisi and Lorenzo Pazzaglia as my usual skin attire, some days I want something not quite so much of a challenge, a scent that will allow you to still standout with it's craft and performance but never causing division or offending. Right from the first spritz I knew I'd filled that particular gap in my collection. Niche brand strength and longevity, artisanally blended close to perfect for my purpose. The initial waftings came through with a bit of all the listed ingredients but the foremost seemed to be lavender and mint with the accompanying fruits, woods, amber and vanilla all chipping in and making themselves known at varying levels. My overall impression apart from "WOW" was "is this a Fougere!", probably down to the aforementioned lavender and mint attributes. Is it!, I don't really know. I think it straddles a couple of the traditional groupings. Honestly, it doesn't bloody matter! If you like it....and you will, wear it. After around 30 minutes or so the scent evolved into an obviously similar overall profile, with a couple of the lesser attributed earlier accords doing a bit more of the heavy lifting, orange and the vanilla I think. It's pretty damn glorious, a masterful piece of artistry that takes the best from designer fragrance and marries them beautifully with all the exceptional attributes of hard gained niche expertise and experience. The result is a scent reminiscent of the large, generic perfume houses but with far more additional exquisiteness and finery only available to a masterful guiding hand...and nose! Love him or not, Aaron Terrence Hughs is an absolute gem when it comes to his range. He knows how to make something satisfying and fulfilling, a little special. That's the truth! So, back to the stunning Slut (elixir). It's easily wearable at anytime of the year by anyone that enjoys a gorgeous, rounded and finished piece of craftsmanship, it's a scent that feels 100 % complete. Day or night, club, pub or an afternoon out with friends and family, this is a perfume that delivers. I will add that this is a scent many will find sexy and attractive, so if you are out with loved ones, situations may arise where you're a little uncomfortable with the attention! 😂 Forget your ego, disperse those preconceived thoughts manifesting as pride. Do yourself and those in proximity a favour and buy an ATH product, I'd start with this one. The boring but important stuff! It'll last for several hours with a decent projection, gradually becoming more intimate before it's final state as a lovely skin scent. Yes, yes and yes. Enjoy.

#106 of My Fragrance Journey - Aaron Terence Hughes Slut Élixir: The pulse of the late hour. There's no easing into this one. You don't arrive at it - it arrives. Already there on the skin, already in the air, warm and saturated and completely unbothered by your hesitation. It hits with a neon-soaked fruitiness that's high-voltage from the first second. Thick, sweet, unapologetically loud. The kind of scent that gets to the room five minutes before you do and makes no apology for it. Extrait-level presence. Predatory confidence. In the wrong setting, it's full sensory overload - and honestly, that's a risk worth taking when the night feels like it needs a fuse. The fruit is pushed right to its ripest edge. Not sharp, not fleeting - fuller than that, almost tactile, like colour more than scent. Deep pinks and soft golds. Sweet but never fragile, there's a weight to it that doesn't ask to be softened. As it warms on skin, it starts to shift - sugar becoming texture, velvety and plush, like the air around you has been lined with something. It stays close without suffocating, held steady by a quiet woody heat underneath. Slightly resinous. Never rough. That contrast is where it actually lives. The fruity tones move through it feeling lived-in - like pulp pressed against skin that's been moving, existing, doing things. No apology in the fullness of it. It leans into itself completely. Sensual without performing it, present without demanding it. It doesn't shout. It just stays, leaving a warm trace on everything it touches - fabric, skin, the space just after you've left. It deepens as the hours go. Trades some of the early shimmer for something richer, more carnal. There's a physical quality to it by this point, like it's designed to transfer - a scented souvenir of proximity. The bad boy DNA is there, but it stays polished enough to feel premium. Even if the name makes you pause slightly when someone asks what you're wearing. The balance isn't flawless, though - worth saying. Too heavy a hand and the sweetness gathers, tightens, loses that early sense of openness. It doesn't collapse, just becomes less dynamic. Less room to breathe. When it has space it's genuinely compelling. When it doesn't, something dims. So. Two sprays. Maybe three. Know the room. Hours later, it's still there - warm and softened, slightly blurred at the edges, closer to the body now. No longer an announcement. More like an intimate memory you're still wrapped inside. Hard to find. Increasingly expensive on resale. Worth it for what it does when the night actually calls for it. Vibe: Black leather, spilt cocktails, skin still warm from moving. Performance: Obnoxious in the best way - projects hard, lingers until the next afternoon, possibly beyond. Fit: You wear this when you don't plan on being alone by the end of the night - and you're comfortable with that being obvious. This, and the hard candys are just masterpiece sweet fragrances. Hard candy was initially my favorite but I find myself reaching for this more. It's a lot more mass appealing imo. Perfect for a night out in the cooler weather. Head turning, and seductive. It's a really bright fruity sweet scent with a nice vanillic base. Not in a feminine way either, perfectly unisex imo. Incredible performance too. I can smell it on clothes for days and around 10 or so hours on skin. ATH just gets me so many compliments too. This and hard candy got me compliments from strangers on my first day of wearing them. The comparisons to Le Male Elixir are almost an insult to slut elixir because it's in a whole different league in terms of quality and smell. This isn't like how Parfums de Marly copies Fitch Fierce and makes it Percival. The only smiliarity is that they're both sweet and vanillic. That's like saying pizza and mac and cheese are the same thing cause they have cheese, lol. I don't even like Le Male Elixir, and neither does my girlfriend, but we both love this. Either way, if you like sweet scents, absolutely go for this.

I have to say, from ATH I own Luna. Hard Candy. And Slut Elixir. (Update) and haze extreme, and oud noir. Slut is the winner of those for sure, haze extreme 2nd. Hard Candy close 3rd, oud noir 4th, followed by Luna. The house seems to make 2 or 3 of the same profiles, tweaked a bit differently. Luna is not for me, but maybe Onyx is? Hard Candy is too designer, but this has a bit more unique to it. Overall, the house has very good performance (at least on clothes, easy 12 hours) and differing, unique touches on typical designer scents. Update. Slut is Kool aid mixed with Chanel Bleu. More prominent on the Kool aid aspect. Im not saying it contains kool-aid lmao but you get the jest of it. Very nice, very high quality Dua levels of a mash up. Very good house for unique, sexy, but somehow familiar scents. ATH is mixing up medicine, and I'm here for it. Wore it today. Skin and shirt. This is ABSOLUTELY sweet sweet kool aid mixed with BDC!!! ITS VERY GOOD XD sweet sweet laundry detergent. Alot of plum, alot of amber, and alot of musky musky goodness. I'm addicted tbh...
