My friend sent me a sample of this and this is my second time wearing it. Boy is it good. I wasn't too interested in this scent, mostly based on how it's put out there by Aaron himself. I don't typically identify with being a slut, nor do I wear particularly dirty fragrances, but I may have to rethink that now. The opening made my head spin. It's an intoxicating mix of musk, patchouli and civet. Grabs your attention full blast, but not necessary in an all too pleasing way. Something can be said for fragrances that almost make you feel high at the opening though. Soon enough I got the jasmine and neroli and hiding in the back is the amber providing the much needed, subtle, round sweetness. Still very musky and earthy and with the civet not really noticeable anymore, probably moving to a more supportive role. At some point I moved on with my day and kept getting different wafts of Slut. It was evolving into the most wonderful thing. Still the same notes as mentioned before, but each time you smell it, it seems to be evolving or changing. At times it's sharp and musky, then it's sweet and inviting... Somehow the combination of ingredients keeps drawing you in. Something about that earthy patchouli, bright musk and orange, flowery sweetness is very addictive really. Kept sniffing my wrist. Very well done. After maybe 6-7 hours the fragrance has become a skin-scent mostly and I still get some of it via my neck. Not much left other than some soft sweetness. This is quite the ride. Projection-wise it doesn't seem huge and in that way the sex thing does make sense. I wore it during my workout at home yesterday and something about the sweat and heat emanating from your body gives it that perfect lift. Edit: Initially included some notes on the business after some delivery issues as he was starting out, but it's all sorted now. Ordered quite a bit since trying Slut and always received everything within a few days. Excellent service.

I guess I'm one of the few, but there is something that definitely does smell like an aroused woman in this very, very much. A lot of Aaron's scents all feel very risque and like you are deep in the throes a sexual act, but not like you are trying to attract someone. They are all very unique, but in the same family, and Slut is no exception. So along with the fluids and scene I just described is like an effervescent patchouli. I really enjoy it. I was reminded of it tonight when I tested La Perla Let the Dance Begin and there is something similar though I think Let the Dance Begin is more the arousal smell when you are trying to attract the person and the evening has just begun.

As others have said, this doesn’t smell slutty. It smells of citrus, white florals and musk to me, which I don’t find slutty or even sexy just pleasant but kinda mundane. Maybe it’s the petitgrain, neroli, or type of musk, but something makes this smell like a mens fresh fragrance from the 80s or even earlier to me. Something akin to Eau Sauvage or Acqua Di Parma or something Creed could have done 40+ years ago. It smells like old school cologne. I do like it in that context but not as something trying to be bold, daring, or sexy. It smells like something they would splash in you at the end of a shave and haircut from an antiquated posh Manhattan barbershop.

I have no idea why people hate so much on this. I find it really attractive, relatively simple and easygoing. I don't find it partially slutty, but maybe my tolerance level towards sexual fragrances are possibly slightly higher than most people's 😈. I'm not a big fan of citrus heavy scents but this is very well formulated with the musk, white flowers and patchouli balancing it out very well. It is not the most mind-blowingly original scent and the name maybe a bit misleading but I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a likeable, confident fragrance for sunny days. And who knows, maybe it will smell even better when you get sweaty?! 8/10

I picked up Slut (w/ambergris version) and find it pretty much as described. A nice, dirty orange scent with notes from blossom, fruit, wood and green. It's strongly concentrated, it left a persistent oil sheen where I sprayed it - which is how it passes on to clothing, linens, others. When it warms up, it projects in a big way. I took a long walk and could smell it wafting up from my shirt. Longevity is also there. It was still there even after washing with soap the next day. I like it, it's quite pleasant. It's appropriate for day/office use. Works equally well for evening wear. I can see others who might appreciate Slut as a signature scent.

This scent really, truly impressed me. I bought his discovery set and Slut was the first one I put on. I don't know if I go anosmic really fast, or my skin just soaks up fragrance, but this was the first perfume in a very long time that I put on and found myself wondering what smelled so good when I walked outside. It never occured to me it was coming from me! Just a great, all-around, unisex scent that has killer sillage and longevity. I found it very intoxicating and addictive and will definitely be purchasing a full bottle. What a great, fresh niche perfume house ATH is!

Received this super quick, day after ordering. Very beautiful Orange and Jasmine that dries down to an amazing sweet orange and wood accord that is warm but has a slight citric note from the orange, warm wood and amber in the base and the jasmine still is detectable 8 hours somewhere in the middle of it all. Long Lasting 8+ hours so far and Sillage that started at about 4 feet but after 2 hours was maybe a 1 foot Sillage but given the idea of the fragrance, thats maybe all in the plan. Well worth a look at the £55 price tag.

@donkar You totally sound like someone that hasn’t tried Aaron’s perfumes. If I’m right, I hope you get to one day. You will be totally surprised. Also I hope you could look beyond peoples pasts. I bet you weren’t perfect as well and had to rebrand yourself at least at one point in your life. Maybe in high school, college or more recent. Therefore i recommend you stay away from bashing Aaron without actually knowing what his creations are actually like.

Got a sample of the 2023 Elixir today and it’s lovely. It has a resemblance to the opening of 1 million Elixir. Lovely and sweet. Vanilla, tonka, amber and fruity top just like 1 Million Elixir 😊 I really like it. We definitely need a listing for the elixir and 2023 versions. I have been posting on the forums for them and will ask for an updated version of Slut and Slit Elixir unless someone else does so before me.

This is an absolutely fabulous fragrance, with a juicy fruit smell that is totally addictive. However, be warned: now ATH have rebranded with the black bottles, Slut has been reformulated. I can attest that it smells nearly nothing like the original, probably due to removal of the petitgrain. This has ruined the fragrance as far as I'm concerned. A bit odd, to so substantially reformulate your top seller.

Favorite fresh yet dirty hot weather fragrance. To me almost all summer fragrances are boring. I like dark fragrances, made for the winter time. Finding a hot weather fragrance is not something that interest me. Finally with slut I found something that add beautiful florals with citrus and neroli but enhanced with patchouli and musks. Dirty slut is even better unfortunately not listed on Fragrantica.

Is really sad to enter here to read some reviews and at the end just read some comments of people speaking about how the perfumer looks or his sexuallity... Shut up and speak about the fragrance, nobody cares about your personal opinion about Terence, i just care aobut the frag.

Review is for the older see through glass bottle.... It isn't what I thought it would be...for me its leaning very old skool, a masculine neroli, bergamot and jasmin bomb, however unrefined and incomplete. Reminds me of 1980's nightclubs in Ibiza.

This is sooo good, honestly despite the massive 80's throwback feel it is absolutely wearable. Great longevity and good projection 8/10 If you can get a bottle for £50 - £60 definitely worth a pickup if you enjoy an old skool fruity vibe

Fantastic fragrance . Haven't worn it without getting complimented no cap and that goes for anything from Aaron Terence Hughes all his scents (for me) have very good longevity and strong silage and projection. I'm a slut hehehe

To me, the opening smells like the inside of a new shoe from a department store. Through the dry down, this scent becomes much sweeter. The mix of the amber and patchouli is done well. I have the new formulation by the way.

this one is a BEAST. Do not listen to those dumb reviews from haters. Aaron is a very talented perfumer and "slut" is one of his finest works. Imagine a soapy/clean orange smell. beastly projection and sillage.

It works! My husband only needed one whiff of this one. Fruity from a distance and animalic up close the perfect Madonna/Whore. Highly recommended for married women as it is versatile and highly wearable.

I found this to be a fun and bit uplifting scent. I liken to describe it as bright. Projection and Longevity is top notch like all ATH, Great in warm weather and you will noticed. Really enjoy this one

I get a lot of vanilla with a citrus top n some white florals. It’s reminiscent of JPG’s style. Maybe ultramale without the pear. Great performance. Worth trying a 10ml.

With a name of "Slut" most people would have the idea of a dark, filthy, and sexy fragrance. This...is the complete opposite of it. It's rather pleasant, probably suitable office scent in conservative sprays. You get a very pleasant, opening blast of dry powdery citrus reminiscent of Caswell Massey Gold Cap Jockey Club. For me, it stuck around for about 3-4 hours. It's actually here is where I smell his signature "filth" the most. Then you get petitgrain in the heart. I don't get much Jasmine. It eventually dries down to a amberey/woody musk. After about 8 hours, its a soft skin scent. I think this scent is well-worth the money and his slightly unique spin at a mass appealing fragrance. If you like synthetic citrus fragrances, you'll love it. Edit: I did try it with Animalix. It did cause the scent to stick around longer. But what I noticed is that is drastically increased the projection. Edit 2: Reformulation Slut 2 loses most of the proud "in your face" quality Slut 1 had from the harsh dryness that came from the petitgrain. It replaces it with a more tame and smoother/sweeter scent. The musks he uses in a lot of his line is more noticeable in this as a result. While Slut 2 is more wearable than Slut 1, I believe this is the only one that ends up being a step in the wrong direction for this particular scent. All the other reformulations I tried did ultimately benefit the scent.

I have the reformulated version in the silver label/black bottle. I know I like this fragrance, but I'm not sure where to compartmentalize it. To me, despite the name and the description from others, I find this scent to be very fresh and clean. There is a clear dose of citrus and jasmine. Though it is fresh and uplifting, there is a maturity to it as well. The musk is very clean with the patchouli and amber providing depth to keep all of the lightness anchored down. I would describe this scent as "squeaky." Some people describe there being a latex-like note in the fragrance... this not has been completely toned down in the reformulation (due to the removal of the "narcotic" note), but there is still an essence of that here. For me, it's more of a texture that can be smelled. It's not a turn-off by any means, but it's interesting to identify what others have been trying to describe. Overall, this fragrance is completely out of my wheelhouse of fragrances I typically choose, but I like it enough to hold on to it and figure out when it will work best for me - whether that be layering the fragrance or seeing out it performs on a warm day.

I just got this today and it is really unique imho. Thoughts: 1. Not slutty at all 2. Def unisex 3. Def citrus 4. It has a really strong sillage, not sure if this is good for the office or small spaces or church. Yes to a date, yes to shopping, yes to errands, yes to clubbing, yes to vacation. 5. I think good for all kinds of occasions, all seasons but not sure about high heat humidity 6. Reminds me of donna bir yellow dream, but this is more unique 7. Words that come to mind: fun, unique, statement, sexy but not overtly so, stylish 8. It is citrus but not a clear citrus. Has a very almost smoky and slightly salty accord to my nose. That may be the aromatics i am getting. Gets sweeter, but kinda sweatier? as it dries down. Not BO, but like a salty sweat accord or maybe some dirt? It kinda makes me think of the times i went to to high school boyfriends baseball games in high heat, and after he kinda smelled like dirt dust sweat salt and leather from the mitt. I like it so far, it is unique and def niche. and i got a good deal for 40 ish bucks per bottle on it.

Hmm, no idea what formulation I have in my sample bottle but I really wanted to not like this because lets be honest, the name is rubbish & I also didn't plan on trying this, it just got put in to my pack of samples as a freebie lol. Unfortunately, it is actually unbelievably pleasant & after spraying a bit to test it out on a rare bit of morning sunshine, it for some reason took me back to being on holiday & relaxing near a pool with the wafts of clean laundry left out to dry in the beautiful warm sunshine. I won't hate on a fragrance just because of the name & this one is pretty damn good. Haven't got round to even giving it a wearing yet but I'm sure I will probably end up enjoying it even more! Still, at this point, I don't intend to buy a bottle because of that damn name lol but I can't knock the scent, that's for sure!

Don't listen to individuals who base their opinion about a fragrance upon their opinion of the perfumer's character. This is rather good! Very citrusy and white floral in the opening with a bit of dark sweetness looming in the background. Hard to describe scents with words but let me have a whack at it: imagine a gentleman who was at the barbershop half an hour ago and then proceeded to engage in sex and worked up a little sweat. To me this is what it smells like. Rather nice! It has that quality where it lingers in the air and every once in a while you get a whiff of it. Edit: Was wearing it today, and just realized how close it smelled to Eau Sauvage mixed with Kouros!

I ordered this from maxaroma yesterday as they have a bogo for ATH fragrances. I got two of this one, bc it got good reviews on here and youtube, and i think my sons and daughter could wear it also, or i could give it as a gift to someone as sort of a joke due to the name😜. I figured two bottles for about 42 a piece is very reasonable for a niche house. I have never smelled it before, but based upon the notes and reviews, i cant imagine hating it. I like orange blossom and neroli so looking forward to this blind buy!

I seriously didn’t expect it to be so refreshing. Got it as a sample and didn’t see reviews or read notes before. I expected, based on the name, for it to be sweet, bubblegummy, strong floral, punch/juice type smell. On the contrary, it is so refreshing and fresh. Heck it should be called something like mountain, or deep forest or waterfall lol. It is so pretty. It takes me to the nature, deep forest, rain forest. So fresh and pretty. Very unisex indeed. I can totally wear it on travels.

I don't think this smells like a slut. I'm not sure what a slut smells like but if I was in a slutty mood I wouldn't reach for Slut. It's very pleasent, inoffensive and pretty- neroli, orange and jasmine are the most prominent notes on my skin and they work really nicely with the clean musk in the base. Tad bit underwhelming but nonetheless very pretty.

Slut Elixir. Smells like a feminine leaning Hard Candy Elixir. More fruit, less candy. More musk, less chloroform. But still has plenty of candy and chloroform. Nice and loud, nightlife blend. Slut. Slightly more fruity. Less chloroform. Nice neroli note. Amber, lemon and florals. Balances out to a less musky Elixir, with less ambroxan. Good stuff.

A REVIEW I ordered Slut, Animalix and the 9x 10 ml Discovery Set a few weeks back, and the package arrived safely to Denmark a week's time later. TOP: A nice (slightly dirty) neroli and citruses combo. HEART: Petitgrain comes first (now slightly filthy) followed by the jasmine. It smells like there is a touch of oud in the mix, or maybe it's an earthy patchouli popping up early. BASE: As the petitgrain and jasmine fades away hours later, you are left with earthy patchouli, supported by amber and musk. The mix is still slightly filthy. I am not completely blown away by this fragrance, but I like it a lot, and I think it delivers on the sluttiness. It is kinda sexy, and filthy too (without being barnyardy). Thumbs up for my part. 9/10 NB I have the version without the natural ambergris.

Reformulated Slut smell much sweeter, I like this one much better. However I do understand someone people Prefer old one, fortunately I have old formulation too. Old slut was more like timeless fragrance, but new Slut smell modern unisex fragrance. I have bad experiences with Aaron through Customer Service which was doing it by himself, he’s dishonest rude person, however That’s nothing to do with fragrance itself. I love new slut than any of his creation. Wish he hires professional customer service, then I don’t need to contact him in the future.

First batch. I think it's wrongly advertised. I can't see how this would be a good clubbing fragrance. It is LOUD! And I mean LOOUUDD! But it is probably 40+ old school gentleman scent, yet very unisex. It does go a bit towards air freshener. Quality is definitely there though, but not for younger demographic.

I bougth it few days ago Slut reformulated, blind buy (my mistake), delivered on time, new packaging black bottle with magnetic cap great but; TO ME is a horrible, metalic open, smell like toillet cleaner product, unpleasseant fragance from the very begining, then with the drydown became a bitter sweet smell, like urea (wee). is impossible to my nose, smell very similar to my Grandma in the last period of her life (poor angel). Sorry ATH but is impossible to wear, of course for me, is not atractive, is strong that burn my nose, the people who has sensitive nose please stay away, is my advice. This fragance has been hype in YT but is not worth it at all. If you have the time to watch the video of ATH about Slut is nothing like what he describes. This is the fist time that I review a fragance, I never ever have written a review, and take my time to sit dow join to the community and write this review is because this fragance is not worth it the money or the time to wear it. I like indie fragances but this is too much. Piece of advice to all those people that watch YT videos please try first on your own skin and then decide if is for you (or buy a decanter), every skin is differnt I broke my golden rule and here I am. Apologize my english my main language is spanish. final overall is a 3/10.

This is gross. Has a bath bomb feel to it. Unoriginal and smells very amateur. Projection was average, longevity was maybe around 7-8 hours total. The name is a sales stunt; this isn't controversial, dirty or slutty in the least. It's decently priced and that's about the only positive. My previous review was deleted probably because I included a little too much info on Aaron's cultish behavior and awful customer service. So I won't get into that. That being said, you still need to know this isn't good. I'm not a hater, I just think this sucks.

Very heavy on lemon in the opening to burn my nostrils. The overall vibe is cleaning with citrus cleaner in a second-hand old shop. No sex whatsoever...

Love Aaron’s work but this fragrance smells like a dirty hippie shop. Can’t stand it and don’t know why anyone would ever want to smell like this.

Ok so to start off with people are bashing this fragrance, so you can ignore the bars at the top saying that this has poor projection etc. People are clearly not spending any time trying this fragrance! Anyway onto my take of Slut. Slut starts with a strong & vibrant opening of Neroli and a hint of orange & bergamot just in the background, immediately catching your attention, a few minutes in and the Petitgrain comes into play combining with the neroli and orange beautifully. Amber, musk and jasmine play a massive supporting role to give this fresh and bright fragrance power and lots of it! Patchouli is also present throughout the life of this fragrance, helping to provide that ‘filth accord’ and helps to add depth to the fragrance. I think the name suits the fragrance, in the sense when you are going to wear this you want to be noticed, so wearing it to go clubbing/partying makes sense because a lot of people want to attract a potential partner and sometimes to stand out in the crowd you must embrace your primal instinct, your looking for attention? Be a slut and wear this! Projection: 2-3 hours Longevity: 12+ hours (fantastic for a Neroli/freshie) Versatility: All year round (capable of cutting through the winter cold) Uniqueness: Has this been done before? Not in my experience/opinion, very rare you get a long lasting and projecting fresh neroli fragrance Compliments: Slut is a compliment magnet, had nothing but compliments wearing this and they were unsolicited, you will be noticed wearing this! Occasions: Clubbing/Partying, more of a casual day & night scent rather than a dressed up kind of occasion Gender: Unisex leaning masculine (reminiscent of fragrances like ADP Colonia) could see someone who likes feminine scents pull this off too because of the Neroli Price: Is this worth the money? 100% this is full bottle worthy £55! For that price Slut is a steal and if a fragrance this good was sold by the luxury houses like Creed etc. you could guarantee they would bump the price up towards £200! However if you don’t want to blind buy Slut just sample it first! Don’t sleep on this one, be noticed, be a Slut!

[Slut] ⚫️⚫️⚪️⚪️⚪️ I’ll start by addressing the name. To me ‘Slut’ isn’t appropriate for this fragrance at all. I understand that jasmine can be sultry and animalic but this is a very clean perfume. With the sex connotation I’d be expecting a fragrance in the style of something like Dzing from L’artisan or even Musc Ravageur from FM but this is a far cry from both of these top shelf perfumes. I can’t say I’ve ever come across a sexy citrus, especially in this classic cologne style of bitter petigrain and orange blossom. This isn’t filthy sexual promiscuity or even losing your virginity. It’s not even a shameful wank before you get up for work. There is nothing ‘Slut’ about this fragrance. Slut begins with sharp citrus, bitter leafy green nuances and Jasmine reminiscent of 4711. The woodiness that quickly follows strongly reminds me of Joop Homme and I cannot for the life of me figure out why. Cedar, patchouli and some woody aroma-chemicals are here and rounded off with super clean musks and linen. A tame choice of musks given the provocative name. Also, I think this fragrance is too strong for its own good. It is very much a summer fragrance that is too cloying to wear even in mild whether. Overall the fragrance is good but nothing amazing. If you like classic colognes and citrus dominant fragrances then this is surely a no brainer. I couldn’t agree more with KingTut’s review closing with “This has been done a thousand times. Nothing new.” From the looks of it we agree on most things when it comes to Slut. There are better offerings from ATH so I can say with confidence that this isn’t representative of the whole line. Aaron’s talent is more apparent in his orientals like Filth XXL and Chocolate Rose & Oud to which I own both.

ok. the current formulation has NOTHING to do with the indicated formulation above . i have both . one is a pettigrain neroli bomb with beastly projection and crazy longevity. The other sweet and fruity also with powerful projection and longevity and scent cloud more for going out and nightime if you likew sweet with a nische flair , both are nische when you compare the unique fascits and scent profile . i think they go head to head with many TF offerings. i know thats debatable BUT it is debatable. Like with most nische though buyer BEWARE with Aarons and other nische , one has to be awaare that they are a fan of the notes because these fragrances are not general purpose like so many designer offerings . All that said , the original Slut for 2019 i had to come around to it . Its a sharp citrus i get Pettigrain forward and the truth is ive done a side by side with it an Neroli Portofino TF and they are both comparable. ATH Slut is WAY more natural smelling and performs for hours on skin and on clothes for days and the Tom Ford has a beautiful blend you have to reapply after only a few hours. So if you LIKE pettigrain neroli musk combos and notes you will love Slut in the summer and as ba tough citrus in the winter too . light sprays in summert and heavier in winter . Finally good luck on finding a bottle or 10 ML because the reformulation for 2023 2024 is sweet and high powered vanilla but not like Vaniila Sex TF . thats another story. i have both Slut formulations and the pettigrain first release now you couldnt pry from my clenched fists. :) . First thing that came to mind was what kind of perfumer makes perfume in his living room while petting his dog? Do the dog hairs cost extra? What a great product! In fact I have never before bought a perfume online without smelling it in advance, but thought i'd take a gamble after seeing him on YouTube, and reading the very unique fragrance description. I loved the write up, and i'm definitely cool with being slutty! Really surprising how many people don't get irony. Gay people tend to be more relaxed with referring to each other in these terms without taking offence (having been called a slut by my friends for years, lol). Makes me sad to see some missing the point. Anyway this perfume does not disappoint, and arriving with a handwritten card thanking me for the support I could not have been happier! Will definitely be buying Aaron Terrence Hughes perfumes again. Love its carnal sexiness, and cant wait for isolation to be over to see others reaction to this sexy scent! With amazon in fact, I have only ever left a review when unhappy (says a lot). However when having such a positive experience in buying this I felt I should give my full support with this business. Creative people should be supported. Sad to see some people using this site as a personality contest.

Having an online business remains a relatively new concept for the masses. It's business, and therefore a lot more responsibility than a great many people are cut out for, and can take a lot of getting used to. A lot of creative types are not cut out for it. That said, let's be a little patient and let Aaron get past the initial fits and starts. A lot of niche perfumery is being started and ran by individuals with little business experience and little comfort doing it. I've done it (in another industry), and it's def a huge, huge hassle. Half of it amounts to babysitting people and other unexpected responsibilities. We're waiting to test stuff out here in America. I'm willing to give him a year to get his business in order. As long as he's giving refunds if there are serious problems, anything else is just patience and tolerance until he gets the hang of things. He seems creative and talented enough that I'm sure he has something worthwhile to offer to at least some part of the market.

This is a white flower bomb...with a name like 'Slut' though, I was expecting some naughty and nasty white flowers with a big heap of dirty musk and patchouli on the side. Instead, this falls more on the fancy/classic side of things. The jasmine, neroli, and citrus are all very pretty. The petitgrain is harsh and gives the scent some bite. I get the musk and patchouli loud and clear, but not very much amber. If I didn't know better, I would have guessed that this was a vintage-style fragrance from an old European house like Caron or Molinard. On my skin, this lasts a long time and smells better if not over-sprayed. I have the new formulation, I guess...heavy black bottle with a silver label. This is great in hot weather, if you're looking for something fresher, but not marine or aquatic. The name is misleading. This is not super animalic or challenging, but even if it is clean and straightforward, it's not boring. This is good stuff...a nice, well-mannered slut.

I have recently bought my second bottle of this fragrance after being the proud owner of a 10ml when first released. I must say, that I was very impressed. An unusual scent that really does keep me wanting more. If others are saying it’s nothing new, you’re probably right - it reminds me a lot of those animalistic 80’s powerhouses like Kouros, but with a modern twist. My wife loves it, my mate has asked to get hold of some for him and compliments are coming in thick and fast. Longevity is legendary - I get a good 8 to 10 hours and I can still smell it on clothing for days. I also have Onyx and Athena (original before it became Boss Bitch) which I love. I too have done some background research on Aaron.. We all have a history and a past. He may be unconventional, and his methods unorthodox, but I find his products to be something quite special. I’ll be adding to my ATH collection.
