Islamabad

Islamabad can be simply defined as a stupendously gorgeous floral marinated in a creamy patchouliated sandalwood. Apart from the usual suspects, i did feel a hint of coconut in first hour which is very subtle. It is not a overly complex scent so i won't bore you with glorified details. If i have to associate it with any popular fragrance, then it would be Coromandel by Chanel. Performance is as good as any AKAF attar which translates to "pretty good" It does not project that much of course but longevity is pretty solid lasting from anywhere between 5-6 Hours on skin where as around 8 hours on clothes. I wore it a high heat of summer as well as cold nights and i found it equally pleasing to nose. In my humble opinion a true Santal Galore and is anything but a typical arabic attar. If you want a sandalwood dominant scent (or a fragrance that smells breathtaking) then you have to have this and best part is, it is not yet discontinued.

Creamy, dreamy, superb quality sandalwood. That is the backbone of this scent. It’s soothing, intoxicating. It’s the kind of scent that will make you start to become dreamy headed and forget to pay attention to your surroundings! There is some sweet osmanthus (not a lot) and some other indistinct florals, a small touch of oudh. It’s placed in a supporting role here, everyone is present to pay homage to the golden & sublime sandalwood. The little bottle is heavy & beautiful to hold as well. If you’re having trouble finding Mysore dominant scents these days, grab this beauty. I can imagine also layering it to add depth & richness to many scents... a wonderful thing to have!

This is a masterpiece in the floral/white-flowers/animalic category. Long Lasting and good sillage with delicious fragrance of wild flowers from Islamabad. 1-2 feet projection after 4-24 hours. Next day it turns into a very musky with some patchouli in the background. Similar to Black Orchid by Tom Ford but with much better performance and better animalic note

Notes: Osmanthus Flowers from Himalaya, Wild Flowers from Pakistan, Wild Patchouli, Agarwood, Sandalwood. Sandalwood Lovers must try this one, this is hauntingly good. Osmanthus combined with Sandalwood and Wild Flowers gives it that woody and creamy scent. Very rich and Long Lasting. All the notes are blended perfectly😍😍
