Royal White Musk

Wow very classy and stunning white musk, thick and feminine. I thought the rose note was more noticeable, but still sandalwood, white musk and a rich vanilla are what I mainly smell. This is a unique fragrance, so special, to preserve for special moments and for special persons. Does really worth the price you pay. It is very long lasting, and the bottle is so magic and beautiful, the best for this creamy precious scent.

This one was a no for me. I will probably use it to perfume my linens instead of my skin. I guess I am not a fan of a prominent musk scent. The opening was sharp for me, a bit tingly in my nose. the dry down pretty much stayed the same as the opening for me albeit a little less pronounced. I did not detect any vanilla or honey in this, just that detergent, fresh laundry smell (i assume it is the musk). Longevity was good though as it stayed on my skin all night into the next morning.

This is a very long lasting and pretty perfume oil. I bought a sample thinking this would have been a fluffy white musk but it is not. It's a very good interpretation of pink roses. Smells roses from the start till the end. It is sweet but not cloying. Turkish delight flavor comes to my mind when I smell it, but really it is not gourmand or sugary like them at all. Just that this lovely rosiness reminds me of soft and pink Turkish delights covered in caster sugar! Royal white musk smells very clean. I am not sure if it is soapy though it makes your clothes smell like they are soaked in a good smelling silky fabric conditioner. This musk is more sharp than dusty or powdery you would expect of a white musk. I wore it after the evening shower for the first time and my pyjamas smelled incredibly clean all evening and night. If you like sweet, clean roses you might like this very much. I am relatively new to the Middle Eastern perfume world and am not that fond of all the dark musks, ambers and ouds just yet. So this I think could be very soft and suitable start for testing out Arabian perfumes for people like me. Royal White Musk would definitely fit European royalty. I bought a bunch of testers from Al Faransi. The delivery was quick from the UK to Norway. Like their service and am soon ordering a proper size of this lovely white musk. Nice that the scents do not contain alcohol so that they can be delivered by Royal Mail. Because it is not allowed to post scents that contain alcohol outside of the UK any more.

Abdul Karim Al Faransi’s ‘Royal White Musk’ is one of their more expensive in the range. It reminds me of Al Haramain’s ‘Marwah’ layered with Ajmal’s ‘Wisal Dhahab’ (the gold bottle) but done much better than both of these. I’m now definitely of the conclusion that Abdul Karim Al Faransi does it better than all of the other Arabian attar houses. This is great quality. It has that metallic note as used in many Arabian scents which puts me on edge slightly. Edit: The dry-down simply becomes Ajmal’s ‘Wisal’ (in the silver bottle). Such an anti-climax.

unfortunately i could hardly detect this scent, very very light on my skin.
