never throw away a perfume bottle you blind buy right away. i had few experiences where i didn't get the notes i was supposed to then after i forgot about the bottle for few weeks the notes magically appeared EDIT : i purchased a bottle of this recently simply because it went to 20$ deal which is a steal for 100ml , i couldn't ignore the need to try the grape note in it because someone online told me it has a very natural like and light grape note , and i couldn't get what he meant till i went thru 1/3 of the bottle , now i could definitely get it . remember that in most perfumes what you can smell on yourself right away or after few or many tries is in most of the times not what people smell on you . i don't think the notes shown above by this website are accurate because i think they got mixed up with reviews from another oil based crazy expensive perfume by the same name which is why this got renamed to simply " the black " in a nutshell this smells exactly like you got up took a shower using a black grapes flavored bar of soap except the grape scent is not synthetic at all like in soap but rather natural and ripe but also light enough to be manly. of course the soapy note is there and it's the base of it , but the grape note is always at the finish and very noticeable in air filtered/conditioned areas .

Clean, soapy and floral with a touch of grapes. A very simple composition with good performance in my skin. My first impression was like I was smelling and old lady, but with time I start to appreciate The Black a lot more. Its lightness works perfectly on summer. If you can buy it for $20 it is a bargain.

Soapy and fresh, absolutely unisex, I like it alot, but will not buy a bottle - I have a sample - glad I tried it.

This was given to me as a gift by an elderly Arabian. ASQ are one of the most prestigious Arabian perfume houses with some truly outstanding oud oil fragrances (dahn al-oud). They also produce some top perfume sprays. This EDT fragrance is at the lower end of their offerings. It opens with a burst of grapes but it isn't cloying at all. This is a fragrance made for the heat. The heart notes have a soft iris note gently playing in the background. On the dry down the base notes are a delicate oud and sandalwood. It is a very safe and inoffensive fragrance which has universal application. 6/10

There is an ingredient called Gulkand which is added Pan(sweet leaf eaten in Pakistan and India). I smell exactly the same smell and it gives me a headache and makes me vomit because of its strong and cheap smell. I am sure it will offend many people around you if you use it. And I think it's sold just because of the name as it is considered sacred in Muslims so maybe people who go for pilgrimage buy it.

This has very weak performance, lasts for only one hour, tops..

This smells exactly like liquid hand wash/Shampoo. BORING

Hi Folks, This is a fragrance I bought 2 years back. I blind bought it as I expected it to be something gorgeous because of its name. It was my first buy from ASAQ. On my first application, it was choking and nauseating me. I gave it a few more tries, but then concluded that it was too much for me. I left it aside regretting my blind buy. This winter of 2019, I gave it another try. Folks, this is amazing juice. It feels clean and heavenly. It soothes and calms your mind and relaxes you. It is purely a cold-cold weather fragrance. It has a slight icy sweet vibe. It easily lasts 8 to 10 hours. This is strictly a cold weather fragrance - it is rightly named: for someone who wants to feel the Holy, the divine.

Nothing offensive about this scent, literally the softest clean scent that doesn't even develop to anything bad. It smells SO good, it's soapy & fresh. Similar to Hareer from Anfask Dukhoon but lighter. The changed its name because its offensive, being resembled to the actual black stone in Mecca في الكعبة - they change it to The Black or something like that. PLEASE don't confuse this with some other perfume of theirs with a similar name - something so sharp & sweet, its nauseating. Overall, this perfume is heavenly.

A beautiful flowery fragrance. feels almost like feminine but don't get fooled. A man could easily and confidently pull this off ! smells expensive and really good. a great compliment getter. projection and longevity are both BEAST MODE.

This reminds me sooo much of a perfume my grandmother used to wear. Maybe it was the smell in her purse. anyway it is definately a male fragrance when applied to the skin. On it's own though, it is vvperfumey. I love you grandma!

fyi: it takes its name from the "black stone" at the corner of the Kaaba where Muslims go for their pilgrimage. it's considered as a sacred stone cause we believe Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) placed his lips on it.

Oh my this unisex pushing hard at feminine. Now called The Black I find the scent strong sharply spicy with 80’s floral vibe. Ugh reminds me of Red Door.

how disappointed!! this perfume has nothing to do with such name black stone!! or even the holy black stone in Mecca. cheap perfume, and nothing new.

This is a true gem and versatile fragrance from the prestigious house Asaq.
