I really like Khashab al oud. Dry oud with a little bit of spices and florals here and there. I smell almost a fruity nuance. Very woody scent. Everything is really well blended. But I have to say that I'm disappointed about its performance. Considering that it's mainly a mix of woods and oud (high quality btw), it lacks of depth, almost 0 projection and longevity is average, which is weird for an oud base fragrance. It smells incredible and refined, but I miss the typical strong middle eastern character in this one. I have to overspray it to really enjoy it.

This is one of my favourite perfumes. It smells delicious and sophisticated and woody but don’t expect it to announce your presence to the room. Contrary to the low projection and sillage, it does last quite a long time; some of my jumpers eternally smell of khashab :) I don’t believe there’s any real oud in it (I think the decorative wood is just standard wood chips) but if you have some Oud oil it does layer very nicely with it.

Update: Scent is much better now after 3 years. It projects nicely for about 3 hours and it lasts easily 8 hours on my skin but it keeps its original soft and airy character. I love this profile so much. A more robuts base and it would be absolutely perfect.
