Makkah Blend

Reviewing the oil: to me this is an oud blend first and floral musk second. A strong medicinal oud underpins green tinged flowers (like a bulgarian rose absolute plus maybe some yellow flowers) and something warm and dark and slightly sweet with caramel tones--maybe the deer musk. It then warms up into a more floral musk scent, pretty and unisex, however the oud is always there as a partner keeping the scent bitter, interesting and grounded. It reminds me of some of the amouage floral oud blends, it's like a Shams al Doha type attar. I think of ASQ as the by Kilian of the oud world--everything smells really good, is blended well, and has sophistication, however its a touch conservative and lacks something that makes it undeniably and totally original and alive. It's utterly (perhaps too?) civilized. Makkah Blend is like this but also very very nice. I will probably wear it a lot because its a bit of a no brainer as a floral oud. The oil is definitely unisex and I could see a man wearing this easily.

This is a beautiful bitter resinous oud. The opening is quite sharp but it warms up amazingly on the skin and the freshness and musk really envelop you. I love almost everything I have from this house and this strangely warm but fresh fragrance is no exception. This feels like a winter scent to me, but for someone with the confidence, the herbal quality could make it work even on a warmer evening.

EdP. Very sensual, very pleasant and very smooth feminine fragrance. A huge and nice surprise from Qurashi. Ingredients are extremely well blended and of high quality. I think this is one of their best scents. Respect.

Makkah blend a total love a class of its own ❤️ An unexplainable floral and musky beauty with a smokey oud in background. I have been skeptical about rose note in fragrances and mostly I avoid for its sharp and feminine feel but this is the rose I couldn't resist, totally blown away and definitely this is masculine. Fairly long lasting and a decent sillage to my nose. There is an extremely different note chemistry on skin and clothes. On skin I found a mix of flowers with something oudish in start and definitely very strong but no ways irritating or feminine. Soon there is a cloudy mix of beautifully blended very high quality musk and oud. Almost impossible to separate one of the other. The cloud goes skinny in 4-5 hours but remains are there for some other couple of hours. On the clothes it is quite different story. It opens with a load of roses with some other flowery hints, but definitely rose is overwhelming. The rose I felt in love with remins in seat for about two hours then a mix of musk and floral notes take the coach and this mix is such gorgeous that I am sniffing my wrist again and again despite the powerful presence of clouds of the blend. I am constantly touched by two different whiffs one musky floral and the second musky with a hint of oud. The hide and seek of these two clouds continue fairly above 10 hours. But you can't deny the presence event after 18-20 hours. I am unable to describe the luxury I feel around me this something heavenly and only imagination can take you for the tour of these unseen paths ❤️

Recalled ignite the oil wells in Kuwait In the Persian Gulf War 1991. Wildflowers are the main actors ، created herbal and Dusty smell And the beautiful smell of agarwood Hindi.

Its has nice, warm and cozy aroma that surrounds you that whole day. The notes consists of Wildflowers, Oud and Deer Musk. you get the flowers at the top for a good 2 hours and then musk sort of makes it a creamy comfort scent afterwards.. Oud is present but its way in the background just holding everything together.. It gets close to the skin after a while but i think it actually is a good thing here..
