I received the tail end of a bottle of this from a friend a few years ago. It's an odd fragrance I find. Hot, dry and dusty - but very refined. There's nothing wild and exotic about this, despite the heavy oriental vibe. Quite linear, saffron obviously sits front and centre. It's not as overpowering as you might think, married wonderfully to a dry, dark amber and smokey tones. Lasts for a decent time and sillage is phenominal. For a warm, dusty fragrance I find it wears surprisingly well in hotter weather - useful here in Australia. Perhaps a little stark and unrelenting for my nose, but a brilliant and interesting frag none the less.

This is an league of it's own. Heavy is an understatement:) It starts like thick spicy leathery saffron, and only gets more potent and deep. Verges on foody saffron , then gets leathery again. Not the easiest thing to wear! This thing is so strong it's shocking... wish most western perfumes were half as potent. scent: 6+/10 longevity: 8/10 sillage: 8/10
