Safari Extreme

Qurashi markasını biliyordum ancak bugüne kadar satın alıp, kullanma fırsatım olmamıştı. Arap yarımadasında oldukça ünlü bir marka. Nişantaşı mağazalarının açıldığını öğrenince uğradım. Mağaza bildiğiniz parfüm mağazalarına benzemiyor. Oldukça fazla parfümleri var ve aynı zamanda bazı temel kokuların saf yağlarını satıyorlar. Çalışanları son derece ilgili ve kibar kişiler. Büyük bir mağaza ve konseptleri nedeniyle dekorasyon konusu söylediğim gibi Batı parfüm evlerinden farklı. Mağaza daha çok pahalı bir züccaciye yada dekorasyonu tamamlanmamış Paşabahçe mağazasına benziyor. Parfüm severlerin mutlaka ziyaret etmesi gereken bir yer. Eğer batılı markaların ürettiği Ud ve Amber bazlı parfümlere bakarak bu türde kokular hakkında bilgi sahibi olduğunuzu düşünüyorsanız yanılıyorsunuz demektir. Bu yağların saf hallerini koklamak bence özel bir deneyim ve mutlaka görmelisiniz. Mağazada aynı zamanda işlenmemiş Ud ağacıda var ve satılıyor. Batılı markaların neden sentetik tercih ettiklerini de buradan anlayabiliyorsunuz. Çünkü üst kalite bir Ud ağacı parçalarının kilo fiyatı 100 Bin TL'nin üstünde. Doğal ve yoğun yağları 12 gramlık küçük roll-on olarak alabiliyorsunuz. Kokular çok güzel ancak günlük kullanım için ne derece uygunlar bilemiyorum. İlk ziyaretimde 2 parfüm ve 1 yağ dikkatimi çekti bunlar hakkındaki görüşlerimi zaman içinde sizlerle paylaşacağım. Safari Extreme bana mağazada ilk olarak önerilenler arasındaydı. Ancak onca kuvvetli koku arasında sanırım yeteri kadar değerlendiremedim. Daha sonra bir arkadaşım hediye olarak getirince parfüme mağazada haksızlık yaptığımı anladım. Oldukça yumuşak, temel bazı kokuları (Ud, vanilya, çiçek ve ağaçsı) son derece şık şekilde sunan bir parfüm. Bu parfümün koku düzeyinin yarısına yaklaşamayacak birçok batılı markanın uzun övgüler aldığını söylemeliyim. Kaldı ki Qurashi bu parfümü biraz batılı yapmak için hafif tonlarda tutmaya çalışmış. İlk etapta saldal ağacı, Ud ve biraz baharat ile karşılıyor. İlk yarım saat sonrasında ise bu üçlünün arasına vanilya da karışarak pek fazla bir değişim göstermeden ilerliyor. Kalıcılık kuvvetli. Koku dağılımı iyi. Kış aylarında, 35 yaş üstü için batılı parfümlere iyi bir alternatif. Bence Qurashi markası kesinlikle ilgiyi hak ediyor. Arap parfümü diyerek küçümsenecek bir marka değil. Hammaddeler konusunda son derece güçlü bir marka. Ambalaj ve kutular gösterişli şekilde tasarlanmış ama küçük ayrıntılarda yeterince iyi değiller. Bu markanın güçlü bir marka uzmanı tarafından ele alınıp tekrar yapılandırılması lazım. Bu ziyaret sonrasında fark ettiğim bir diğer konuda aslında kokuyu yağ olarak kullanmanın hiç zor olmadığı idi. Safari iyi bir koku ancak benim asıl hoşuma giden Al Makam Blend i daha sonra değerlendireceğim.

First of all, before I say anything about the fragrance... the bottle and box are gorgeous! Extremely heavy, high quality glass. HOWEVER, they did a shoddy job on the glue because the metal part of the cap that connects to the glass part came off, so I had to use gorilla glue to painstakingly glue it back to its proper position. As for the fragrance itself, the Tuscan Leather associations are true to an extent. The leather accord smells EXACTLY like the one in TF Tuscan Leather. This is extremely odd because there is no leather listed in the notes anywhere, and I have come to the conclusion that the leather accord is an olfactory illusion created by the oud and ylang ylang together, perhaps also an unlisted saffron. While the leather accord may be about the same as Tuscan Leather, everything else surrounding it is different. The white florals and vanilla really smooth out the leather accord, and the ylang ylang adds a balsamic touch. The smooth woods ground it a bit and prevent the florals from making it too feminine. While the top note citruses give the fragrance some lightness, it's still a very thick and rich fragrance. Smell stays linear for the most part. The base is a bit more powdery, perhaps due to some orris butter and sandalwood. Performance is very good. Lasts a long time, projects consistently at several feet. I personally use 1-2 sprays because otherwise it would be too cloying. Personally, I prefer this to TF Tuscan Leather. Tuscan Leather to me smells a bit too harsh. Safari Extreme smells like a brighter, classier, more oriental, easier to wear version. The people who would want to wear this fragrance are the same ones who would feel comfortable wearing Dior Homme Parfum, as opposed to Tuscan Leather. This is great for work and dressed up occasions. Smells regal and expensive without trying too hard. Classy, balsamic, powdery, smooth, floral leather fragrance. Overall, excellent release.

Safari Extreme is a fragrance for men that belongs to the group of Oriental, woody fragrances. Just close your eyes and feel with all your body and soul the aroma of deep, melodic and long-playing notes of expensive white agarwood and jasmine, with a hint of vanilla extract. Delicate vanilla tail created by special flower care for 7 months. The youngest seeds of vanilla are collected and dried under the scorching Mecca sun, which gives the aroma a very fresh and bright plume. Pineapple and ylang-ylang notes will give you a sense of excitement and satisfaction and will be gently dipped in warm and soft cedar notes. Woody fragrance softened citrus notes, vanilla - and it turns out something magical and impeccable. Review as of 10th December 2019 batch. This fragrance gives me a similar feeling to the attar version which I have. I admit the attar (concentrated oil) version is more luxury, but this one is no slouch. If you buy either one you will be happy with your purchase. Now coming to the details - Initial spray smells floral, oud, and woody, after the dry down I can smell vanilla, floral notes, woody notes and a hint of leather. if you live in areas where there are fans running, you wont get to understand the beauty and the complexity of this fragrance. Is it for everyone? I highly doubt it. Who is it for - Its for people who want something out of the ordinary, and its for people who dont mind wearing floral and vanilla. If you are thinking if getting this because reviewers have mentioned about the similarity with Tom Ford Tuscan Leather, then dont get this because it is definitely a unisex.

Love at first sniff, but that's not the first thing that impressed me. The cut of the crystal glass bottle, and the full presentation is a beautiful sight to behold. This by itself is one of the most unique leather fragrance in my stash. It started with a balance of florals, spices, and a very well behaved leather, as it dries you get more of leather, Sandalwood, ever so slight vanilla touch, and some other woody nuance, maybe oud. This one will make you stand out for real; everything in the most accurate amount and the most excellent blend I can describe. This reminds me of some roja dove's creations but if I'm being honest, roja will be thrilled to make something this perfect. In my head, I'd say everyone should love this but that's not the way life goes. 100% blind buy worthy but I don't recommend blind buys. ASQ Safari Extreme is a perfect fragrance to me.

Safari Extreme won the Fragrance of the Year award at the 2015, 6th Annual Arabia Fragrance Oscars. This fragrance smells similar to the original Safari Blend; Just darker and spicier. A very masculine scent. On wearing Safari Extreme, the notes I get are vanilla, peppery spices, sandalwood, florals (jasmine, rose and maybe ylang ylang?), oud and a woody note that smells like it might be cedar. Safari Extreme is a versitile fragrance that can be worn at the office, on a date, a night on the town or just for daily wear. In my opinion, Safari Extreme can be worn on Summer nights, as well as day or night during the Autumn, Winter and Spring seasons. Enormous sillage and very long lasting. I have received many compliments while wearing this. Blind buy worthy and signature scent worthy. Highly recommended. 10/10

This is such a lovely scent. I am surprised that voters say this one leans masculine. I think, if anything, it leans feminine but really it is unisex. The florals, vanilla, and oud make it strongly delicate-- it lasts for hours. It can be worn morning, noon, or night although it might be a tad too much to wear to work if office space is tight. Safari Extreme demonstrates just how wide-ranging oud scents can be. It isn't trying to attain the clean sharp note of Oud in something like O Hira. It does rival some of Stephane Humbert Lucas' creations and for me at least, this is high praise indeed. This one makes me want to obtain more fragrances from this house. I find it better than Dionisio by Tiziana Terenzi, a fragrance that share some similar notes and some strong reviews.

I would like to call this fragrance a piece of jewel. You don't often come across this kind of top notch creations. I get the comparison with Tuscan Leather, but compared to Safari Extreme; Tuscan Leather is a bit darker and less refined, but still very nice. Also, I noticed when Tuscan Leather has dried down it shows minor similarities to Safari Extreme - so people tend to compare the both to each other. If you own Tuscan Leather, it wouldn’t be redundant to have Safari Extreme in your collection! I want to thank "nikhilsharan", because of his review on YouTube I was confident that this fragrance was going to be a winner, and it is! ASAQ have managed to put class in a bottle! 10/10

To me, this is closest to Ombre Leather 16, and I really love that one, as I love this one! Beautiful smelling, lonnng lasting, good projecting.. full bottle on the way! *edit* After giving this a couple more full wearings, I can now say this is a full on leather scent, I don't care that leather is not a listed note , I KNOW what I smell, and it's definitely here! My opinion hasn't changed in that it's very beautiful smelling leather with florals in the background, but it's very close to Godolphin, and Ombre Leather 16, not so much TL as there is no rasberry here, but if you have Godolphin, or Ombre 16, I think this is redundant.. lasts for over 14 hrs!

I bought this because all the hyp First, I didn’t like it and I felt it is a cheap oriflame rose with a hint of leather. I gave it another couple of tries after a month and bang! The perfume has changed into something rich & smooth Unlike the first try, I appreciated the complexity and felt the Amber which is holding all notes together. Longevity & silage have developed as well with days. Silage is an arm length for 4 hours in cold weather, in warmer days the silage is huge but for 1 hour max, I prefer it in colder spring & autumn evenings. longevity is great 10+ Hrs on skin Price, buy it when they have 50% discount

Living in Canada, this fragrance is something a lot of people wouldn’t understand. With that being said, I get reactions with it. People taking one big whiff, like it’s their first time smelling a DNA like this one haha. I love the profile, great for mixing with other oud scents, especially woody, leathery, or florals. My only complaint is the sillage gets quiet after a few hours. Still present, just passive. Personally I like to be loud with my fragrances, hence the layering. Still, if you get to try this out you’ll understand what I mean by different. 8.5/10

Scent of the Jumma Day: Safari Extreme EDP by Abdul Samad Al Qurashi Well, the notes includes OUD in it. Three types of oud wood and I thought Oud will be prominent on this. But, my my. This is obviously not smell like Arab Oud type perfumes. But also, the Vanilla and Flowery notes are also not there. It plays a totally different game with my skin. Feels like barbershop, I mean very masculine aftershave type smell. Good for winter. But the sillage is not great. after 4 - 5 hours it becomes skin scent. Still loving this one.

Oriental version of Tuscan leather, that's what immediately came to my mind and I can't describe it better than that, definitely a niche perfume, I feel a bit uncomfortable wearing it every day and I prefer to reserve it for special occasions, I understand that the floral side can make you think of a feminine fragrance, but if you are a man and you love flowers you will have no problem wearing it, I highly recommend it for oriental perfumes lovers, a must have from this house. My rate: 8,5/10

This fragrance is top class! One of the best perfumes i've ever smelled in my life. I always have a backup bottle. It smells luxurious, floral but not feminine , with a leather note in the background. The ingredients are so well mixed that this juice is close to perfection. Btw i read many people compare Safari Extreme with TF Tuscan Leather. It's the worst comparison in the fragrance world. They are not even close and TF is 5 classes bellow this masterpiece.

The vanilla and the florals are beautiful. The iris gives a creamy and smooth feel, and the spices are subtle adding a dry touch. Masterly blended with high quality ingredients. You can feel refiness. One thing that I watched in many reviews is people smelling the note of leather. I can't find any of it. Maybe a very little nuance, but, for me, leather has other properties that I can't smell on Safari Extreme. I love it.

One of the best perfumes in my collection; so unique, classy and elegant; for special occasion only. My wife (who normally don't care much about perfumes) notices the smell on me every time I wear this, and every time asks about it, she loves it. To me this is mainly a floral scent, the woody notes supports in the background, masculine perfume in my opinion. I don't see the association with Tuscan leather! 10/10

Luxury! It doesnt smell too oudy nor arabic. Just woody spicy. Spices that make this thing different from other perfumes. The opening is quite arabic but the dry down is to die for. This perfume exudes opulence. Very expensive. About $250 for 75ml. If you can afford it, get it. Not an everyday perfume but feels like an arabian night dinner with the King. Performance is outstanding by a niche arabian perfumer.

Easiest 10/10 for me. I was floored and in awe at first sniff. Absolutely beautiful. Nothing sticks out like a sore thumb. Floral, fruity, woody with a leather undertone throughout. Does not project like a true beast mode scent but it's very noticeable even to the 8th hour mark. All season wearability for me, just adjust the sprays accordingly. Instantly indispensable in my collection.

Opulence in a bottle. It projects powerful stunning florals, amber and powder. You can detect a bit of Oud in the background of this expertly blended perfume. If it had Roja’s name on the bottle, it would sell for three times it’s pricepoint. A blind buy for me. Not for casual or office wear. This is for celebrations and formal events. You will smell like royalty and will be noticed.
