It seems like every time I try a new ASAQ perfume, it becomes my favorite. I bought 15 samples of these from a new reseller in the US (theworldinscents.com, no rel'ship) that a friend turned me onto. I will write more reviews on these after I am finished my sampling. It's taking me some time to go through these tho cuz each one is really different. Im smelling things that I haven't experienced before. Been wanting to try ASQ, but has been impossible to get samples and products in US. Safari is a big fragrance that has been getting compliments at work. Not a real Saudi style oud fragrance, cuz I really cant smell oud at all vs the other samples I'm trying. If there is oud in this, it is a wearable westerny one, with tea (?), fruit and much sweeter than the ouds in my other samples. The small sample I bought has lasted me 4 applications and counting. Now my significant other has taken an interest in this, and we have been fighting over the remaining drop, so we decided to invest in a FB.

I too bought some samples. I'm finding it hard to work through these. They take some time. I've had them for a few weeks now and only got through a few samples. I really love this one. These are quite long long lasting and really different than any other fragrance I've ever tried. A few of the other dark OUD Cambodia was just a little too much for me now. I'm not sure they are in my DNA. However, I'll try one at a time as the new year comes along. I will say of the 10 I sampled, this one was by far my favorite. TWIS provides these and shipped quite quickly too. I was very much impressed with the owner's attention to detail. Oh another thing is the musk. I told him I don't like musk, and he said probably because you only smelled synthetic musk. He was right. The sample musk I got smelled so lovely also. I will admit that I do miss the "spray" of a fragrance. I'd say definitely grab a sample or two. Start with Safari.

I agree with Tandem..... sweet, warm luxury indeed. Well said! :) To my nose, this is gorgeously blended woody, green, balsamic, and vanilla notes. No description will be quite adequate, however. Is it worth the price tag? This would depend on whether you are in the habit of purchasing niche or not. If the answer is no, then save your money and buy something with a balsamic vanilla / vibe like Ciara or Tabu. There is nothing shoddy about either of these drugstore classics. In fact, they are among my richest, most revered brews! If - on the other hand - your answer is YES, then I can definately recommend Safari. You will be amazed at how much value you'll receive for your money's worth! Abdul Samad's massive boxes and heavy duty packaging look like something intended for royalty, not to mention that this is a concentrated oil with no alcohol. For those of you interested, Safari is well worth sampling. Five Stars

Well guys. After having spent enough time with this scent I can say from the presenatiom to the blend....everything is simply Majestic. It is a royal nectar blended so very well. The beautiful white florals....a tad bit of suede.....white musk...the ultra refined ylang tea leaf combo...slight touch of spiciness and the heavenly woods. Not at all soapy or oily. Very calming and beautiful scent. Has superb longevity and projection if applied on skin and fabric properly. Purely unisex. But I enjoy the safari dna as a male. The safari extreme edp takes this on the muscle side. I cannot rate this out of 10. This is an experience which comes with subsequesnt usage. Wear it straight out of shower with a light deo. And let the trail leave a long lasting impression on the fortunate noses....exoticscents@youtube

What a scent. The florals are so rich and opulent, the jasmine with ylang-ylang, the uplifting freshness coming through the spices, sweet and complex musky powdery woods, this fragrance has a lot of depth, overall, really high quality, and a divine scent. Just only wish it lasted longer on the skin, nevertheless, this is a must-try from ASQ, almost like their flagship release, this feels more fruity and sweet with more florals, compared to the ambery more oriental Safari Extreme. I really love this and just wear it personally from time to time to be in that state of bliss. 9/10

A somewhat Westernized attar due it's inclusion of white Oud vs aged dark, and of some fruitiness/sweetness and tea notes, as well. Very high sillage and longevity, and consistently garners compliments everywhere, incl work, social events, nights out. Bottle came with a mini-me keychain lookalike (to the large bottle) that holds about 1 ml, just in case you are in danger of running out. Awesome.

The scent is simply elegant, with rich and opulent florals balanced by uplifting freshness of spices and musky powdery woods. It has a lot of depth and complexity, making it a high-quality fragrance that exudes class. Packaged in a heavy bottle, it is a must-try from ASQ. It's a personal favourite of mine and I often wear it to experience a state of pure bliss.

I bought it when there was 50% discount sale. OMG this perfume oil is out of the world. Opening is sweet, its unisex and the vanilla, jasmine plays main role here. I paid around 85USD for the 12ml perfume and its really worth it. The presentation is also above all expectation same as the perfume.

There is another side to beauty uncovered by Abdul Samad Al Qurashi through the Safari Blend: it’s arrangement of agarwood spices and wild flowers, lifted by the dry wild nectars of tea leaves and Musk towards the white wood, adding enlightenment and refinement.

One of the best from ASAQ! Very long lasting massive sillage

A sterile fragrance reminiscent of a synthetic surface cleaner detergent. I think it's because of the wild flowers. These notes are somewhat reminiscent of tones of pine and pinecone. It also smells a bit like old tree resin. The first thing that hit my face was an intense honey-like sugary scent. The fragrance generally continues in one tone. As time passes, only the dominant tones begin to fade. I don't understand why the name is safari. Because it looks more like a town full of rainy pine trees. Moreover, unlike safari, it is not like the smell of summer. Stuff the wild flowers in a honey and mix add some resin. Rub the resulting mixture on a pine cone and smell it. There will probably be an odor similar to this one. It stays on fabric for more than 10 hours. It stays on the skin for up to 6 hours. The projection is felt from 3 meters. If you leave a room, the smell will be behind you. Longevity: 9/10 Projection: 8/10 Sillage: 8/10 Fragrance Quality: 8/10

Wow, this blend is AMAZING!! Complex, Creamy,intense,warm...Pure Luxury! Very long Lasting and sillage HUGE! It's UNISEX, but for my taste it's a little bit more on the feminine side (of course this is subjective),but i wear it (i'm a man). I can't detect any oud, but...you can layer this scent with an oudy scent. I've another al qurashi Oil called "fragrant oud"( not listed in fragrantica), i've tried to mix safari with this oil ... the result is Amazing! High quality and gorgeous presentation! Really really nice... Every time i wear it i be complimented. EDIT: !!!WARNING!!!Addictive scent!!!! . As i said, i was a little bit worried, i usually don't wear this kind of floral scents, i like more woody-incense-Aoud-dark scents but with safari...i just can't resist. oh my god this oil is like a drug...amazing...amazing...amazing...!!!!I Scent: 9/10 Longevity: 7,5/10 Sillage: 7,5/10 ------------------ Overall: 8/10

This is a yellow floral, honey, and vanilla fragrance. It exudes sweetness, cleanliness and class. You can clearly smell the pine/seaweed notes upon the opening because it is distinct and strange in a way, then it quickly transforms into the scent that it is known for. Although evidently popular and called by some as "the greatest attar" this is a decent fragrance at best, leans feminine and performance is as you'd expect from an oil, which is that it lasts for ages and doesn't project as much as sprays. *Side note: it is CRAZY (about 75% at least) similar to a cheap perfume oil called Delicate from Al Haramain, anyone who has smelled both will know. Notes: Yellow Florals - Honey - Vanilla - Pine Scent: 7/10 Longevity: 7/10 Projection: 4/10

10/10 OPULENCE in a bottle! Ensemble of florals with the most beautiful nectar-like vanilla base, it also has a clean non-smoky incense facet which I guess comes from the olibanum. This blend is right up there with the cream of the crop niche juices. Price no object, I'd take this over most of the super expensive floral perfumes. This is incredibly unisex with super expensive smelling sillage and eternal longevity. Oh. and the cut-glass bottle looks like a gem! P.S. The vanilla base is not spicy nor powdery variety, smells insanely gorgeous.

You will love it if you are into florals. Can be worn in summer. Beuatiful scent both this and sagari extreme but if you are looking for more of a masculine scent then try out khashab al oud by the same house.great gift for male or female. Packaging box and bottle 10/10 - scent 8.7 for me. Could be a 9 if you love florals.

Luxurious whiffs of ylang-ylang, jasmine and caramel which, however, sit close to the skin after 30 minutes. Enjoyable, unisex, all-weather (though overpriced). I came very close to blending this with yellow florals, white musk, and some drops of cinnamon, cardamom, vanilla and chocolate oils.

Beautiful arabic perfume, suitable for european taste. Sweet, warm, luxury

The opening is too feminine. The dry down is not interesting, not for me.

I've tried both Safari and Safari Incense and can see why they're popular*, even though they're not a love (somewhere between ok and like). The scents stick to the skin for a long time but stop projecting after a few hours. Not surprised because of the nature of certain natural ingr in some attars. 'Safari' has strong floral and sweet vanilla* aspects. Jasmine isn't prominent, while ylang ylang is very forward, though it doesn't make the scent appear tropical. It opens with woody notes with a hint of spices and ylang ylang; then it subsides pretty quickly as vanilla storms in. I might be one of the minority here to find the scent rather forgettable. Dries down musk, soft wood notes, and vanilla. 'Safari Incense' is more unisex-leaning and complex, yet I wouldn't call it 'dense'. It opens with medicinal oud and wood, a bit green and aromatic. Woody note is dry and a little smoky (which I believe is from sandalwood), rounded by vanilla and nectar, which in combination, makes it become dry honey powder accord. The dry down smells so familiar...like stale tobacco, dry honey, and soft resins/styrax, that I could even compare it to Diptyque Volutes, even though they aren't from the same lineage. So Safari Incense clearly has more character while still lacking an oomph. In my opinion, Safari is aptly named due to its integration of Western style. I don't find this to fit the category of being an epitome of Arabian. Sorry, it's overrated. P.S. One of the worst customer service I've experienced at the London branch. I'd suggest you visit Arabian Oud instead.

This is so beautiful. My partner’s parents gifted a bottle to me (they live in UAE) when we first met. First off the packaging is another level. It comes in a beautiful box that opens to reveal a LEATHER COMPARTMENT BOX that perfectly contains and nestles the perfume, which is in a faceted heavy glass container that looks like a jewel. It also came with a pouch holding a travel size. Given that this is an attar, you apply with a glass wand that is in the bottle. The first year or so I owned this perfume I found it too sweet and harsh, I mostly smelled florals and ylang ylang specifically. But. I realized over the past few years that when you apply to slightly damp skin/after a shower it is much more approachable. It melts into your skin and has a creamy roundness that is so stunning. In winter, the vanilla base is dominant, but it is very high quality and realistic like a vanilla pod or an ice cream flecked with vanilla bean, it’s nothing like Kayali Vanilla or a plasticky doll head vanilla, nor is it a thin or herbaceous vanilla in some colognes or a balmy savory variety that you find in MFK gentle fluidity gold. It is as another commenter said a nectar-like vanilla that I honestly haven’t found in any spray perfume. Combined with this there is the ylang ylang, the clean tea note that prevents it from being cloying and makes it more dignified, and a milk chocolatey feeling. There’s a general sense of fruitiness as well. Sometimes I smell mango, sometimes I smell pine resin. There’s something waxy about the flowers that I love when mixed with the more gourmand notes. But it is so well blended and with such quality ingredients that there’s this mystery about the fragrance. I’ve enjoyed this fragrance best in the cold when the vanilla base stands around you like a fluffy, buoyant cloud that is otherworldly. I think this is a wonderful fragrance for someone who wants a high quality fragrance oil with staying power and lots of different facets.

Jasmine, vanilla, musk, stone fruit, milk chocolate, oud. This is a very sophisticated floral vanilla blend that almost veers into too sweet territory but it's well anchored by the complex woody core. The tea, pine, seaweed, and oud are all seamlessly blended together, it is very difficult to distinguish any of these individual notes, yet the perfume keeps changing. Sometimes Safari gives the effect of a breeze in a hot savannah in the early evening, the wood and leaves fragrant in the warm jasmine vanilla air, sometimes its a floral chocolatey wood, other times it smells like an extremely expensive and luxurious department store perfume, mostly because no matter what that dark core is doing the jasmine vanilla is billowing about, blurring its edges and making its presence known like a lady in a couture gown. The white musk is a supporting player, it's not obnoxious but if you are sensitive to it you will notice it. That said, ASAQ white musk is very well blended and one of their signatures. This could easily be worn by a man as well, as the wood element is so well done that it makes this perfume completely unisex. In terms of the opulence and complexity it's a comparison to TF Black or Velvet Orchid, or the decadent Micallef perfumes though I can't think of one that is exactly similar maybe Mon Parfum Cristal has the spirit. Safari is a little easier to wear than all of those while retaining the opulence and exceptional performance. Hours later it is still going strong. I think my sample was the reformulation, got it from the very helpful Mark at World In Scents.

This perfume oil is a true beauty and totally unisex in my opinion. As a lady, I love to apply this to my body after bathing. It is so sensual, so soft and so seductive. It enhances my mood and makes me feel great. I smell the vanilla and the florals. Very discreet and hits the spot. Thankyou ASAQ..one of your finest in my humble opinion! جميل جدا! أنا أحبها كثيرا

i see that people likes it and i think i know why... it is very light and not offensive comparing to other heavy/oudy blends by ASAQ. friendly for western noses. Oud is hardly noticeable here, this blend rather has a desert, minimalistic character =) i prefer something with a bit more of oud =)

I received this as a free sample with an order from The World of Scents, and I have enjoyed it very much. A rich, spicy amber with beautiful floral notes (ylang-ylang) and a nicely restrained gourmand sweetness. Extremely long lasting.

Too floral for me but I would give it a 9.5 if I were into florals. Extremely long lasting even with half of a drop spread all over. Most luxurious packaging I've ever seen. Pm if you're looking for a full bottle (used half of a drop)

A distinguished, oriental oil-blend--for oud and caramel lovers. Refined and beautiful. It's not too woody, and that's what makes it very friendly-smelling to me.

Beautifull Oil ,my favorite now .even comes with a little decant keychain with a stick so you can carry some sexyness with you .
