Authentic Woman

Well, I have a few samples of this one to try, so I decided to test this one today. Beautiful scent on the skin at the begining, I was totally obsessed and could not stop smelling this on my wrists... And then... kaboom... soapy smell. All over the place. I can only smell soap after that, one hour, maybe. Damn... Update: It’s a cold, rainy day and I decided to use this beauty again. Oh joy... this time I didn’t get any generic soap scent after one hour of use! The smell, the gorgeous smell stayed with me all day, and now I have to buy a big bottle, because this is so beautiful and conforting that I don’t ever wanna be without this!

Oh, this fragrance is absolutely stunning. I tend to reach for more deep, sensual, heavier perfumes but this one is soooo so nice. It smells luxurious and elegant and feminine and gentle and... Just amazing :) It is great for every occasion and suitable for everyday use as well. And I love magnetic caps on bottles :) Edit: Definitely go try this one if you like subtle fruity/woody/flowery/elegant perfumes. I think this might be signature worthy if I am considering an affordable price too!

I love this one, but it unfortunately doesn't stay on my skin, it lasts only av few minutes, then I have to sniff my wrist to smell something, really dissapointing! Yesterday I tried to spray like 6-7 different places, but nope... Possibly mismatch with my skin or something, this could have been a keeper, if it'll only last a bit longer...

So clean and fresh, smells like an aquatic nectarine and pear. It dried down more musky sweet, I wish it stayed with the opening notes since I’m more of a fresh type girl , then it would have been a 10 for me but overall one of my favourites in my collection

Omg...this is sooooooo good! Been loving it. It smells like when you enter an airport and you smell everybody's perfumes mixed together. This is definitely a love for me. I think it can be worn year round. 😍😍😍

Fresh nectarine and red pepper scent. The longevity isn’t the best but it’s actually a very beautiful scent I need to reach for it more 9/10

I tried Lanvin Eclat d’Arpège (it is so popular here in the tropical country I live in) and I thought its not worth it. It's pleasant but I find it too common! I found out about A&F Authentic here in Fragrantica. The reviews convinced me to blind buy this. Oh wow. I get why it is being compared to Lanvin and DG Light Blue. It has to be the musky florals of Lanvin and the citrus woody notes of Light Blue! Two sprays on each side of my top and I can smell it the whole day on me. Leaves a trail for the first 2-3 hours. Also, it turns more soapy than fruity floral during cold weather. On a sunny day, the sweet juicy pears and nectarine are bursting. I didn't detect any sourness nor bitterness probably because of the white florals and woody notes. If I only knew this would be great on me, I would have bought the 100ml bottle. Plus, I like the magnetic cap! This is a great scent option for when you want to leave a good impression in a conservative environment. This is gentle enough for closed, office spaces and feminine for an outdoor lunch dates. I will repurchase (hopefully for a discounted price! LOL) however I can't find them in my local stores anymore.

The suggestions above are all over the show and while I do get a bit of DG LB in the aquatic sense, its not as citrusy due to that pear top note but I can def see the vision. I have a pear inc tester and I'd say that's much closer. This opens fruity with that same pear but doesn't settle as musky on the dry down. Such an easy everyday wear for the office, gym, errands etc. Summer/Spring. Def daytime. Can't wait to see what else these guys have.

Bought this last year and it was an instant love. It's such a cheerful, uplifting smell. Fruity floral and sweet without being cloying. It's light but projects a lot in the first hour. But for me, after one hour, it's just..gone. I wish it had more longevity! I now have 70% of the juice left and if it wasn't something my dad bought for me, I would have just sold it off. 😔

This is a light, fruity/floral scent, perfect for summer. Ive gotten multiple compliments on this, smells amazing. I think its very underrated, and the price is good and affordable I would say. I like the magnetic bottle cap, the bottle itself is very classy and elegant (a bit basic). This is a summer/spring basic, but sadly doesnt last that long on my skin.

This fragrance is so insanely strong, albeit in a slightly synthetic way. It's perfectly nice and a great budget option. I can't believe the longevity I get off this especially when compared to some of my $300 plus scents.

Sweet flag (Acorus calamus) + freshness of washing powder. If you love the perfume of sweet flag (rhizomes and leaves) it will be excellent for you. Similar: Iceberg since 1974 for Her, L'Eau au Lait Corporel by Biotherm.

Light, clean, and kinda gives effortless pretty vibes. Not too strong, just that everyday “I smell good without trying” energy..

Fairly synthetic on first application, but quickly settles into a very juicy, lovely pear. A light perfume for summer or spring.

I was expecting a sweet fruity floral scent for women but daaaamn does this smell masculine, I thought it would be like this only the first few seconds but no.. no this smell lasts. To me it smells like unripe nectarine - sharp and tart maybe even dry, not sweet at all but this is a new bottle so maybe it needs to sit. It also reminds me of some insect, not sure which but it smells sharp green and I can see why it reminds some of D&G Light blue intense, it has the same sharpness and I gave it to my husband due to this as it seems very masculine. Maybe it could work for sports but for me it is too sharp, I can't see myself wearing it. It does get lighter with time but not sweeter or fruitier. Will update if anything changes. Update: It did change and now also has sweet notes. I like the opening as it bursts off with a tart red currant but then turns to the sharp nectarine, after a while it changes to a soft and sweet red current, really nice if you spray it in your hair. Light - so you cannot over spray. Not sure I will keep it as it still has that sharp undertone but maybe it will lessen with more time but I am also not sure if it changed due to time or weather as now it is a hot and humid summer.

I totally get the comparison to Light Blue. This very much recalls it as well as other scents in that vein that have the fruity/woody thing going on - a genre that I generally love for everyday scents. My problem is that there is one note that ruins it for me. I don't know what it is because I have no issue with any of the notes listed in the pyramid: they all work for me in other fragrances. This note is a harsh, persistent piercing note with an effect similar to that of the Cetalox in fragrances such as Juliette Has a Gun's Not A Perfume. It is a note that makes a fragrance unwearable for me because it make me almost physically uncomfortable. It's very hard to describe. I am surprised because the pyramid gives no indication of its presence in this scent. I gave the small spray bottle that I had to my DD. On her I can still smell the problematic note, but since it is not on me I can deal with it.

Ehhhh it’s okay. I’ve smelled something exactly like this before but I can’t put my finger on what it was.(the opening, that is) The first 20 min of this fragrance is fruity, with the pear standing out the most. There’s a little bit of floral nuances. It smells good, it’s just that there are 1000s of others out there just like it & typically at a more inexpensive price point. After the fruitiness there’s a woody unisex stage that smells very quintessential A&F. Until finally ending its journey to a scent that is reminiscent of D&G Light Blue. Honestly, for all that just go buy Light Blue Intense.

The opening is really lovely and fresh, but it dies down very quickly (within a couple minutes to an hour for me). It's a bit more soapy, definitely smells clean but after that first juicy hit it just smells boring. There's a lot out there that smells familiar to this. Nice but not very unique. Also leans girly to me, not as mature as I would like to smell at 27.
