Away Man

Wow I was extremely surprised by this fragrance. At first I was unsure how well an Abercrombie and Fitch high end private collection would turn out considering that their best fragrances were in the past....well I was not disappointed at all. The superstars in this fragrance is by far how well balanced the violet and geranium shine with the Vetiver and Sandlewood. Instantly you notice that this stands out far and head than any A&F fragrance you’ve smelled before in a good way. This is two thumbs up for me and it worked well with my body chemistry and the 3 sprays that I used lasted around 8-9 hours which was amazing and not expected considering the fragrance house. If you are able to get your hands on this fragrance I would suggest to add this to your fragrance collection sooner than later. Originally I was unsure if the premium $199 price tag for a 3.4FL OZ fragrance was worth it but turns out I would put it in the same category and tier as Dior Sauvage, Parfums De Marly Pegasus, Chanel Allure Sport Homme Extreme Eau which was surprising to me but maybe this is the start of something very special for Abercrombie.

not realy understanding why this one gets such hate and low rate here. its so plesent, on me its long lasting, very uplifting and actually unique. it realy makes me smile everytime i wear it and there is something nostalgic and diffrent about it. beetween all the same summer blue freshies out there i find this one to actually stand out and be very pleasing

This is one of my favorites. Not sure how it compares with Away Weekend but I like the freshness and hint of citrus. It doesn't project much or last long but it is good for how cheap it is and I like the locking bottle design.

Bright and energetic..last longer and projects much more than most realize..let your fragrances mature before throwing them under the bus..I do and (AWAY)=WOW..be patient..not judgey

I am getting 6 hours from 6 sprays. I really enjoy the scent. I going to get a second bottle. Excellent price.

Only cologne I've ever received compliments with. It literally lasts 30 minutes though

Very fresh blue scent, it was a blind buy and it didnt disappoint

I like it. Even if it is very basic modern blue fragrance. Very close to YSL Y EDT. Safe and crow pleasing. Not unique at the modern era as similar blue fragrances have same or similar DNA. Main notes for me are geranium and ginger. Main supporting notes are Grapefruit and Vetiver. Easy casual day scent for spring and summer.

Has a sweet fruity and clean opening but the scent doesn't last and is immediately a skin scent. Good cheap cologne for the summer that you can respray on through the day. Great fruity scent to spray on immediately after showering.

This is like if Versace Pour Homme had a little bit of sweetness added. I love VPH, so it works for me. Very light and not long lasting but that should be expected for a $20 Ross fragrance. Overspray it.

Its nothing special, its nice and fresh but for me theres just too much of the violet and its annoying. Generic and nice scent overall just not for me.

Smells like a drier, less sweet, watered-down version of YSL Y. Nothing spectacular.

Quite disappointed by this. Blind buy to have a fresh option for the very hot summer days. Is it fresh? Yes. It's a very clear fruit note and has that typical out-of-the-shower vibe. Although the fruit note is very clear and pleasant that's about the positives for me, no transparency after the dry down whatsoever, which is also fairly quick because there is no longevity here - and I wouldn't expect this to differ too much on someone else's skin. No projection even if sprayed on clothing. Definitely wouldn't buy again.

I don’t know what TheFragranceConnoisseur under was writing about, as this fragrance is not part of any private line and nowhere near that expensive. Blind bought this one today because if was on sale, and even at full retail price, it is rather affordable. As for the scent itself, it’s really boring. Mediocre performance and projection on my skin. A little bit of sweetness. A little bit of woodiness. I don’t even consider this being just nice. This one is one of the worst releases this year in my book.

This basic b scent reminded me after a few sprays of Lanvin L'Homme. A gawk on here shows they both share violet and sandalwood(and are made by Inter Parfums). This is slightly more joyous, but by like 1%. It's jaw-droppingly mild so the name is definitely fitting. You'll waste it away, spray it away, or give it away. Safe for the office or the spring as it's mild as can be...maybe a good blind buy 'cause it ain't offensive, but it's not good or gross tbh. Not for me.

I feel this is very medioker in the opening. Feels like a 90s, girl scent. I think I feel some Tommy Hilfiger in it. Fruity and despite not seeing it in the pyramid, a ”been there done that” blue ambergris vibe. Edit: Aptly named, it really goes away quick

This smells like someone made YSL Y out of ingredients from a Walmart cleaning aisle and it lasts thirty minutes at that.

Another boring/generic ass fragrance with a shower gel shampoo vibe slapped on to it. smells a bit like Hugo boss pure accord or any other boring ass fragrance you can think of. Smells like a fragrance you would find at Zara or Hollister while buying something you don't actually need. It's gingery/peppery with a boring ass vetiver. lasts about 2 hours if I am being generous. what is it with these same like smelling fragrances? no wonder why people are reaching more for niche fragrances even though they are costly. is it on purpose? The designers man! they're all the same these days! inoffensive and safe? who the hell wants to smell like that? where are the characters man? where is your statement?? hmm? ah the hell with this, am gonna start making my own damn fragrances, i mean somebody has to, right?

No, not good at all (specially dry down).

In the beginning I did not like it at all! I almost threw it away, after a couple of months I gave it another chance and damn, this is one of the best cheapies! I think it is the definition of the fresh spicy scent. I would describe it as a hybrid of a citrus version of F Black (which I find very harsh) mixed with Y edt. Longevity is good! Give it a try!
