Oud Amour

I cannot praise this enough! Simply one of the most amazing, rich and pleasing fragrances I have in my collection. As far as I know they have ceased making Oud Amour! I picked up the last few from their website at discount so will have to use it sparingly. Compliments galore on this also! It’s so disappointing that it has been discontinued because this is a masterpiece in my opinion.

Absolutely one of my best fragrances. I love the scent so much that I'm willing to only pick this one fragrance if one day I could only take one with me. This is coming from someone who also owns many niche bottles.

PLEASEEEEE BRING THIS BACK A&F PLEASEEE!! At least tell us who composed it for you so we can find substitutes of it.

Probably the worst one in the line, and also the one that I was most excited about. The opening is extremely sweet (like marshmallows), and very musky (sharp, synthetic). It becomes a little more floral, but still cloying and unbalanced. The tea peeks in timidly, as if it were trying to bring things into balance, but is so hard to find that I would not have noticed it if I hadn't seen it as a listed note. It takes a while for the oud to come in, and when it does it's fairly restrained and blends with the other notes. In the drydown it's not too bad, a nice smell and fairly well balanced. Unfortunately, it's an EDC and by this point it's so faint that it hardly matters.

This is a linear one trick pony, but man is that trick spectacular! Hypnotizing and alluring. I find this to be a very unique accord. The sweet Hortensia mixed with a slightly tangy note and it becomes billowy and comforting. It draws people in, and then holds them in a loose grip that promises all those sweet little nothing's we love to hear. UNFORTUNATELY, this has become a true unicorn, nearly impossible to track down. The Fierce Oud Amour smells absolutely nothing like this gem. Don't bother. Should you stumble across this mythical beast, grab it and experience the wonder for yourself.

with approximately 200 oud perfumes (either oud-focused or oud-forward) in my collection, this perfume is unique. it's neither a masterpiece nor a game-changer, but it is excellent and with a most heavenly note of hortensia; that when combined with the oud and other notes, has me coming back to wear again and again. i am so dismayed that i likely will not be able to replace this perfume when its gone.

This is hard for me to describe because either it is so well blended or the notes do not stick out but this is a sexy fragrance!! It gives me the same vibe as versace eros but lets say eros would be for the daytime and this one would be for night. I have gotten compliments from women while wearing this.

Does anyone else find this smells like Fucking Fabulous from Tom Ford? I don't get oud from this but rather the bitter almond/orris/leather/sage combo from FF. This came out the year before FF did and there's no perfumer listed, so I wonder if maybe it could have been a draft that eventually became FF.

I'm just laughing at the pitch the sales assistants will be told to deliver to the teenage customers "It contains a very special ingredient known as "agarwood" which is more expensive than gold..."
