Luxury Overdose

Le Parfum, a simple name for a fragrance, but which has a redundancy that should not be underestimated. It represents the search for the perfect fragrance, for that combination of notes that provokes the extreme olfactory pleasure, what Jean Baptiste Grenouille, main character of the renowned novel by Suskind, was looking for. This spasmodic research had success: here we have an essence that starts almost quietly, lightly, almost imperceptibly, but which then explodes in a jubilation of woody, flowery and green notes. A real provocateur of pleasure: in short, by spraying this fragrance it will be difficult to take your nose off your arm and compliments are guaranteed. I compare this perfume to Klimt's beautiful Danae: beautiful, naked and that no one would ever stop looking at.

After smelling so many fresh perfumes at the show, this perfumed was overwhelmingly strong and complex. Now when I smell it from my vial and skin, I would say it is softer and much more balanced comparing to my first experience in Milan. In short it is soft white floral in woody & balsamic notes with some fruity sweetness and lot's of powder of different origin, and yes, it is very complex, so I try to unfold one association, when another comes and confuses me. It is rich and evokes a smell of expensive furniture.

A rich makeup type scent with licorice booziness in the base making this sweet but not gourmand kind of way. It echoes hypnotic poison EDP but a more lipstick feminine way. Pretty.
