White Moss Eau de Parfum

White Moss by Acca Kappa was a random sample I got with the purchase of another fragrance. I immediately looked it up because it smelled so good and I had never heard of this brand before. A clean soapy musk, herbal-sweet juniper, and lavender. Normally I despise lavender but this fragrance has me loving it! I definitely get the barbershop, warm shaving cream vibe – this fragrance definitely smells like you have been well groomed!

This is a scent that is such an easy wear. It works any time of year and is especially lovely in the spring. On me this wears quite lemony, soapy, and mossy. It’s become my go-to scent when I don’t know what to wear. It can be dressed up or down, enjoyed at home, or worn as a daily scent.

Can feel the moss note in this fragrance. Refresh, airy and clean scent. Also long lasting perfume.

It took me a while to understand this one. The first few wearings I'd swear it smelled like lemon juice mixed with windex, sprayed on a metal tray. Almost like I'd imagine a freshly cleaned laboratory to smell. I could not figure out why this has a cult following. After a month, I started to appreciate it a bit more. Idk if the bottle macerated or what, but it started smelling musky clean. The lemon and metal smell remained, but was much less pronounced. I like soapy clean musky fragrances, and this turned out to be good, but not anywhere close to best in class, so I sold it. There are better options out there in my opinion. Get Pierre Guillaume Le Musc Le Peau is better, and especially Le Labo Musc 25, which is far superior. Scent 6.5/10 Performance 4/10

I need to stop wearing fragrances for the very first time to milestone life events; olfactory memory association becomes set in stone forever more. Today I wore Acca Kappa’s ‘Muschio Bianco’ (or White Moss) to a funeral. Now the scent is marred with the melancholy memories of the day. Fresh, aromatic, herbal notes - well I do believe this is a fougere. It has the same airy, woody, mossy, purple floral-ness as Prada’s Infusion D’Iris. It’s not a wet vegetal moss scent, it’s a dried moss, like potpourri. It’s a dry mossy lavender potpourri. Not as clean as I was hoping for. Perfectly unisex.

Darlings, when I wear this lovely soft fragrance I am always noticed and complimented. It is eventually subtle, and not in your face, but starts out quite strong and mellows out quite quickly. I can see where it would not be a signature scent and one of those fragrances you grab when you want something unique, attention getting, but are in too much of a hurray to give it much thought while running out the door. Of course, you run out the door to a Range Rover...8.2/10

Beautiful soft and slightly soapy scent with fresh and crisp citrusy opening. It’s super light and very simple but still amazingly cheerful. Longevity it horrible though, it’s nowhere to be found after 30 mins... Follow me on IG: scent.guide

I recently reviewed the White Moss EDC version and was hoping that this Eau De Parfum would be a little better. The opening seemed slightly more positive, a distinctive bergamot and lemon scent - heavier on the lemon. Not a particularly strong scent but it was good smelling something. This died down over the course of 10 minutes leaving a faint lemon aroma. The aldehydes, cardamom, lavender and woody notes didn't appear. There was an alcohol, perfumers alcohol spirit, present in the background of the opening which fortunately disappeared. Over time a faint musky aroma became apparent. The smell of a white musk perfume from the 80's that I couldn't remember in the EDC version. After 4 hours any scent had gone completely. The sample bottle itself now has a white musk smell though. All in all another disappointment. This is marginally better than the EDC, longevity being up to 4 hours, but the sillage is just as soft.

A friend gifted me a sample of EDP version. Soapy with aromatic notes. It's not bad, but I just develop no interest in this type of colognes, because I had never understood the meaning of soapy colognes. Some people around me use soapy frags to conceal their body/sweaty odor when they don't bother to take necessary baths. But the effect of this trick is dubious. I can detect their mal-odor (before I lost my olfactory sense) even after they use soapy colognes in attempt to construct a hygiene illusion. But I can understand that this scent may be interesting to some. It stays close to skin, tender and gentle.

I tried a sample of this. From my perfume samples.com. The opening had a harsh detergent note which I did not like but after 30 minutes it disappeared and I got a wonderful clean laundry scent that compelled me to buy a bottle. When I got the bottle from amazon.com The scent was totally different.So much so that at first I thought I had gotten a fake even though it was new and from a retailer shop. The harsh top note. Of the E.d.p. Was gone but so was everything else. Instead I got an very faint. Opening note of lemon and just a faint whisper of musk both of which where nothing but a skin scent from first spray till it disappeared completely from my skin 3 hours later. I later found out in the forems that the main note of moss had been taken out and the sample I had gotten probably came from an older bottle that still had the moss note in it. Would not recommend anyone buy this in its current state as it is useless as a fragrance

It sometimes feels too masculine and for some occasions too basic, but yet it is the fragrance I keep going back to every now and then

When I first got this, I couldn't even stand the smell. It smelled bitter and sour at the same time (I dont even know how thats possible), far from the 'clean scent' I was expecting. I gave it a month to macerate and it became a lot better, more like a clean scent. I actually wore this today and am quite happy with it. I would consider this as unisex leaning masculine, definitely safe for the office with decent projection and longevity. If you are into 'clean' scents, this might be a dumb reach for you.

How can I evaluate something that lasted 10 minutes on my skin and evaporated into thin air ? What a dud ! It’s very similar to un musc by Obvious Perfumes (which has way better performance)
