Luna Dulcius

Oh it's so much more then a simply coconut sunscreen scent! It's beautiful, modern, bright, young and fairy like but not plain ( like vanilla vibes a bit..) or juvenile. Very well blended and composed. As SweetScents07 wrote, its angelic & sexy in the same time. But i say angelic and seductive. Bright & light gold by the fresh citruses & sweet white hawtorn, creamy and angelic white by creamy coconut & musk, some pastel pink by the red fruits and peony sweetened with tonka and creamy vanilla. This became one of my favorite summer fragrances. ♡ For me, it's slightly(!) remembered me like Marly oriana combinated a bit of JHG Vanilla vibes were inoculated in to a very white, creamy coconut scent. ( but it's a really personal ecperience)

I have been collecting niche perfumes for years and have no idea how I missed this diamond. This scent is out of this world—gentle sweetness, angelic and sexy at the same time. When you wear Luna Dulcius, it makes you feel like you are on an expensive vacation. Imagine evening dinner and wine, and this scent on you makes you feel like fairy tail angelic, romantic, and sexy, while your partner is melting by looking at you and smelling your scent. This scent can be a perfect scent for a bride or, even better, for a honeymoon. I am glad I bought it because I had nothing like this in my collection. Bravo to the perfumer!

Fresh coconut (a la Coconut Fizz or KKW Body II) added to a frothy vanilla poolside cocktail (Kyse Cocco a la Vaniglia), and voila! You get Luna Dulcis. Beautiful scent, not too sweet nor too green coconut. I was obsessed with finding the perfect coconut scent and this one is pretty darn close!

I love this one!! It's a vanilla powder BOMB!!! I get none of the fruit notes which I prefer as I'm not into fruity florals (they usually go in the shampoo direction on me and that's a no). Amazing performance.

This is a unique, sweet but not overpowering, angelic, and totally different coconut perfume, bravo to the perfumer.

I blind bought it based on reviews by YT reviewer Greta Beth, and she said it was not a suncreeny coconut, but I do get a summer coconut vibe. The coconut is definitely in the forefront, and it's not necessarily sunscreen, but what it is to me is fresh coconut milk. I suppose it doesn't have the chemical smell that sunscreeny coconut perfumes have, but it's still very coconutty, so if you don't like coconut at all, stay away. I don't love the strong coconut about it at first, because I especially do not like many tropical perfumes (TF soliel ones are a NO and so are perfumes such as Montale/ Mancera ones for summer, anything with a strong, fake-smelling coconut makes me feel queasy) but what I do really like about this is the drydown. I appreciate the hawthorne note and the powdery softness. This is what makes it more unique and appealing and classy than what we have been offered from TF, for example. To me it is very ladylike but somewhat tropical, giving me the fantasy of being a weathy woman who is island hopping and have freshly squeezed juices in my cocktails. I think this is going to be in heavy rotation this summer. My complaint is I wish it lasted a little longer.

To this day the only perfume I ever used up. I've worn Luna Dulcius while overseas for work in a hot climate, and the day I ran out, my coworker asked me why I didn't smell like cake anymore! Apparently that's how it reads to others, and I was very surprised to hear that, because LD was predominantly a fancy suntan lotion fragrance to me. I asked my coworker to elaborate, and he confirmed the scent was very pleasant, and that it reminded him of sugar cookies and cake batter with a hint of vanilla. I got a little nostalgic thinking about the memories I made wearing this, so I decided to get my second bottle the other day. And I can somewhat agree with my coworker now. I do still get suntan lotion, coconut remains the heart of the fragrance, but it doesn't smell like perfume, not exactly. It just gives the wearer an aura of cleanliness: imagine taking an everything shower, using your most expensive lotions and oils, before you move to a white sunlit room where you catch a whiff of vanilla cake. But not too sweet. That's Luna Dulcius. It's really gorgeous and I'm glad to have this gem back in my collection.

Very musky musky coconut w/ subtle hints of peony/florals. A bit of vanilla but does not shout out vanilla. Plus almost not detectible, a subtle wood at the base. Nice. Easy to wear. Grows on you. I went from like, to I like a LOT. Not overly sweet, not a tropical, nor is it sunscreen scent. Would be great year round, but seems like would be perfect for summer warmer days. Edit: this scent really shines in summer. It lasts a long time, the dry down is amazing creamy but light coconut vanilla.

Creamy vanilla coconut. Pleasant, but I’ve expected more from this brand. Actually it gave me feeling that I simply covered myself with coconut body cream and only traces of peony-like flowers reminded that it was perfume. Also I’d not describe the scent as long lasting: initial notes disappear approximately in 2 hours leaving pleasant milky-vanilla base. Good to try but not worth bottle buying 🤷♀️

Yes, it's a fancy sweaty (not stinky, just salty) coconut-vanilla sunscreen smell but in the good way. I really recommend if you feel Bronze Goddess is too much because of the tiare + lime notes, or if you think Terracotta is for elegant ladies over 65.

This smells like a cross between Pink Sugar and Vanilla Vibes...with maybe a bit of Pure XS thrown in. It's initially sweet vanilla and red fruits, with the coconut coming out midway through. The dry down is vanilla, florals, and musk. As others have mentioned, it's not tropical and there are no sunscreen vibes. Smells like something Victoria's Secret would do. Nothing revolutionary, mass appealing, and relatively synthetic- a little annoying but still likable at the same time. I'd enjoy this on someone else, but it's a pass for me.

Luna Dulcius was launched in 2018 and tells the story of a peasant couple who won a small bamboo bud from the moon. From its root, a beautiful girl was born, who brought them love and wealth. However, the experience of having a simple and loving family was crushed by human helplessness and the girl was taken back to the stars. On summer full moon nights, there are those who smell the sweet scent of vanilla and coconut and say that this is the girl's greeting to her parents. The fragrance of Luna Dulcius is floral-musky and full of fruity nuances. It was created by the Italian perfumer Maurizio Cerizza, who has already created for brands such as Zippo, The House of Oud, and Pino Silvestre. It has top notes of bergamot, grapefruit, red fruit accord, and coconut. This fruity combo makes room for the floral body, with notes of peony, rose, and hawthorn. The base reveals notes of vanilla, cedar, tonka bean, and musk. Luna Dulcius means, in English, Sweet Moon. On my skin, I always find the output confusing. The coconut volume does not match the red fruit accord and what I feel is a strange smell of medicine syrup. Definitely, is not the kind of fragrance I would buy on a quick visit to the store. However, the vanilla is very present since the initial moments. It is creamy and permeates throughout evolution. And as if by magic, Luna Dulcius transforms on the skin, starting from a fragrance with a medicinal aspect and becoming a creamy and tropical lotion, slightly salty and with an elegant and well-balanced drying. On me, the rose exudes more than the peony. But what dominates most of the time is the hawthorn and its white flowers with milky facets. Two hours pass and the fragrance remains unchanged, consistent, without evolution. Much later, the base notes seem to remember their role in the composition and a slightly powdery and almondy mix emerges. The tonka bean seems to release its essence when immersed in a fluid musk, and Luna Dulcius goes through 12 hours with a result that, honestly, I did not expect. Personally, I don't think it's the kind of fragrance that's easy to appreciate, but it tends to grow and conquer. It leans more towards the feminine and can cause nausea on warmer days, but it is a creation that has coconut as a key ingredient and that surprises with its quality. Luna Dulcius is the interpretation of the sweet and creamy moon, like a fluffy and crunchy coconut.

Coconut lime, and a hazy of sweaty suntan! At first it hits me with peony pink, and sweet vanilla musky clean coconut, as it goes calm it turns slightly into a sweaty coconut and sunscreen tan, yet it whiffs sourness from the grapefruit with vanilla flavor. The tonka helps on transforming it into an unsweet animalic but i believe there is something else that keeps the blending from going animalic suntan! beside the milky coconut, i believe it could be the hawthorn! now i don't know exactly what hawthorn smells like, but i can assure it's not roses & it's not fruits, so it should be the hawthorn! This blend is quite interesting indeed and i really like it because i do have an endless love for coconut whichever it is for the nose or for the stomach. I need to get my hands on a large sample to know if i'm going for a full bottle or not! Btw, fragrantica, the link to their website is lost from their collection page.

This perfume was recommended by Greta_Beth. I was skeptical at first because of the low price point. I felt it could not be as good as she was hyping it up. Well, I humbly admit I was wrong. I love this and am happy to have it in my collection. The bottle is not the most quality looking but they obviously invested in the juice. Eager to try others from this house.....

This one is just OK to me. Totally agree with the reviewer below. It is reminiscent of pink sugar, but an airier version. Lots of musk in the dry down. Definitely leaning doll head in the dry down I do not get a creamy coconut. I get citrus for sure

This is a nice coconut scent but not for me, but I will say that if you enjoy Vanilla Vibes you'll like this. This is what Vanilla Vibes should have smelt like. I would say it's a fancier version.

Opening is citrusy and you can hear coconut, flowers are there right away as well, but vanilla and tonka round it from being too flowery. It's very likable fragrance. It's a like!

Citrus-y pink floral with a hint of baby doll. Nice for awhile but too much baby doll in the dry down.
