Reve de Lotus

I think the description is a little off. I wouldn't call Reve de Lotus "a woody aromatic fragrance". It's aromatic alright but woody... not so much. I can't smell cedar at all (which is a good thing in this case). Instead this fragrance has that kind of a watery quality. Citrus and tea notes are the most prominent but patchouli and a hint of leather create a nice base. I adore the smell! Sadly the longevity is poor. An hour or two at most. It's more like aromatherapy really, anyone other than yourself won't probably smell a thing. Having said that, I really enjoy this fragrance. I wear it mostly at home. Smelling my wrists after applying it makes me feel refreshed.

It is really lovely, tea and citrus livened up with mint. If you think about it, you could almost be reminded of lotus but it wouldnt be your first impression. No woods for me, either. Longevity on me was like a five minute body mist.

This is a nice citrus/herbal scent. A blast of fresh lemon in the opening (great scent for waking up) and when that settles down the herbs, lavender, mint come in w/ the lemon and add a little more character then in the dry down the leather and cedar come in and add depth and a little bit of a clean powdery finish. This is very unisex and I could see me and my husband sharing this bottle. I really like this one and will wear it a lot in the coming heat of July and August.

Spicy powdery green goodness with slight medicinal vibe to it, but not in a bad way. It's light and airy, but at the same time so energizing.

Reve de Lotus = dream about lotus. Funnily enough, there's no lotus in the note pyramid, though. :-|
